Looking for company! I'm 1dpo now (I think) and already feeling nauseous.

We're TTC#2, DD1 is 10 months, still bf so some luteal phase issues .

We hit all the right days with dtd I think so fingers crossed.

Anyone else?

Sorry agyle, horrible isn't it?

Doctor, I got my period today Hmm I really hope yours doesn't arrive and you're not disappointed! Grin

argylesocks · 23/07/2013 21:45

Ugh I'm getting tired of the monthly waits. I think I might back off from trying for awhile. It's exhausting. Good luck ladies!

xwonderingx · 23/07/2013 22:10

Still no period here , taking more test tomorrow , maybe in the afternoon , will keep you updated x

Wildwaterfalls · 23/07/2013 22:26

Not tested so far, might be a god thing as I have a backache which is usually an AF sign for me. And bloating. So might have saved ourselves the cost of a test Hmm

Sorry to hear that Doctor.

Doctorhappy · 24/07/2013 09:16

Thanks, actually feeling ok about it - was only month two of trying and not sure if my heart was fully in it as I was still having two or three coffees a day and a few drinks once or twice a week etc. Also have a big event coming up a week on Friday so at least I can look forward to that and will be able to have a few glasses of fizz.
Still Hmm though - really hope I will be lucky next month! Cupcake and argyle keep in touch if you want company, and poopy keep us posted about how you're getting on. Wild fingers crossed for you and the other ladies left in the running -I will keep watching with interest!!

sleepcrisis · 24/07/2013 09:40

Really sorry to hear that doctor. Good that you're feeling ok though, it's the only way to do it. Look forward to next month.

I tested this morning, 2 days early. +ve! But after last months chemical I am not dancing round the house for at least 6 weeks. Fingers crossed.

poopyisapig · 24/07/2013 09:49

Sleep that is fantastic Grin

I know how you feel. I am trying not to over think things. I want to get through the next two weeks and hopefully, all will be well and i'll go to the EPU at 6 weeks to see if all is ok.

Wildwaterfalls · 24/07/2013 09:50

Oh wow sleepcrisis! Fabulous news! Massive congratulations! Grin

Great attitude doctor - really admire you for it - will try to be equally positive tomorrow as I get the now inevitable BFN I think. We're off on holiday on Saturday so at least I won't have to worry about food/drink etc. Smile

pxmx · 24/07/2013 11:45

Hi all been out of touch for a few days again just caught up with all the news poopy and sleep huge congrats, delighted for you both! :) Any one who's out this month sorry for you all & fingers crossed for next month. Doctor i really admire your attitude your a better woman than me!
I'm still in at the moment and have everything crossed but i really dont know what to think. I'm still peeing constantly and the last two days ive felt a bit crappy, a bit of a dull headache etc. No cramps or other signs of af other than being a moody cow, but a tearful moody cow which is different than normal. I'm due on between today and friday (my cycles vary by 2 or 3 days every month) so i'm NOT going to test until sat, but its taking all the will power i have to resist!! Is there anyone left still waiting that can help me refrain??!!

Cupcake11 · 24/07/2013 11:58

pxmx - I'm out but I'll try to help! You should try to hold on because getting a negative test is not a nice feeling so why put yourself through it if you might not have to. If only I could practice what I preach! :)

pxmx · 24/07/2013 12:10

Thanx cupcake that's what i'm trying to tell myself, ive had that sinking feeling of bfn's before and really dont want it this month. So im strengthening my resolve again and waiting until sat.(unless the dreaded af arrives before) The worst part is knowing there are tests at home i may get dh to hide them from me and not give them back to me until sat!

Cupcake11 · 24/07/2013 12:15

Haha - good plan! Although I find it easier to know that the tests are there if I need them, it's just my choice not to use them.

Listen to me, rambling on like I'm an old pro. This was our first month ttc and DH was only at home for three days! We're counting this next cycle as our first month of trying properly.

Let us know if you cave pxmx, don't be too hard on yourself if you do, at least you've waited until AF is due.

Doctorhappy · 24/07/2013 13:13

I agree with cupcake - try to resist as seeing a bfn on a stick is such a heart sinking moment. I had SO many when trying to get pg with dc1 and it really wears you down - for some reason finding out when your period arrives seems slightly less harsh than having to see the negative result on a test! This time round I am definitely not even buying a test until the month comes that I am at least a day late... I know once I have them in the house it is too much of a temptation!
Good luck pm, and keep us posted Smile

pxmx · 24/07/2013 14:00

Thanx doctor i will indeed keep you posted! Ive phoned dh from work and told him to hide the pee sticks and not let me have them until sat morn. I have exactly zero will power it's like having chocolate in the cupboard if its there i have to eat it! If the temptation is removed i will be fine. I know what you mean about a bfn being worse than af arriving somehow:(
Its so weird because every other month ttc by this time ive been utterly convinced that i wasnt preg and that af was inevitable, this month i'm feeling really positive its not that i think i'm def preg just that i actually think i could be if that makes any sense at all??!!!

Doctorhappy · 24/07/2013 14:09

Total sense - as I've mentioned we took a fair bit of trying before we conceived dc1 and I remember month after month just 'knowing' I wasn't pg, I didn't feel it at all, then the month that I finally got pg I just suddenly had this really calm sense of knowing that I was - so much so that when I poas I didn't feel any uncertainty as I knew it would be positive. Similarly this month I can't thinking back to that - I had such a strong sense these last few days that I wasn't pg and AF would arrive and it did. Just keep telling myself to be patient and we will get there. I think there is less of a sense of urgency the second time round as if I feel fed up then I can just give DS a cuddle and he cheers me up!
Have you been trying for long px? Fingers crossed your feeling is right, certainly sounds positive!!

pxmx · 24/07/2013 14:41

I'm glad its not just me then! We've been trying since xmas so this is cycle 8, not that long i know. Ive had a burst ovarian cyst in the past and also a good bit of laser treatment on my cervix, the doctors diddnt say that i would struggle ttc they just said to see what happens. Its been in my head tho and is probably why ive been a glass half empty kinda girl about the whole thing and not expecting it to happen. This month i'm feeling really positive and hopeful, i hope i'm not setting myself up for an even bigger disappointment but until i know for sure i'm just going to keep wishing my self pregnant!! I'm sure it will happen for you doctor at least having had the ds you know everything is in working order and its only a matter of time before you get that preg feeling again :)
