Looking for company! I'm 1dpo now (I think) and already feeling nauseous.

We're TTC#2, DD1 is 10 months, still bf so some luteal phase issues .

We hit all the right days with dtd I think so fingers crossed.

Anyone else?

Yes xwondering I would just try and put the las cycle behind you and write it off as a weird blip. Try to see this as a brand new month and a brand new chance, fingers crossed this will be the month you get your bfp! I remember the month before I got pregnant with dc1 I had a really weirdly long cycle and was convinced I was pregnant but got a bfn and then my period finally turned up. These things just happen sometimes... Hmm

pxmx · 02/08/2013 11:54

x poor you i had this with my first couple of cycles off the pill and its a nightmare, you know your not preg but you cant move on and try again until af arrives :( At least you can move on now an fingers x it was just a one off thing. Try and keep positive august might just be your month :)

Empriscillavoss · 02/08/2013 13:29

Hey can I join guys? :) I'm long to be testing 26th/27th however as my cycles are around 42 days long, by my calculations I won't ovulate till around the 10th of aug so planning lots of 'fun' that week! Hope we all get the positives we're hoping for! X

Empriscillavoss · 02/08/2013 13:29

I'm going to be testing*

Wildwaterfalls · 04/08/2013 10:33

Oh sorry to hear that x. Very frustrating. As others have said, a good thing at least that AF has now arrived and you can move on yo the next cycle.

And welcome empriscilla, very nice to have you on the thread Smile

Sorry I haven't posted for a bit, trying to have a week off thinking about ttc.. But now we're coming up to OPK time again, going to start poas this Tuesday although expect I won't ov until next weekend as it is still happening quite late in the cycle.

Good luck everyone this time round!

thanks all sorry not been on still worried and shocked as to why this happened., plus side my period is just ending so back to trying x

mama31 · 04/08/2013 17:46

hi everyone I'm very new to this forum, but had been reading the threads and felt the need to join for some moral support. I came off bc (cerazette) on 22nd july as ttc, I was waiting for a withdrawl bleed but this didn't happen. I then feel I ovulated on 29th july as had all the signs of ovulation and ttc A LOT prior to, on 29th and a few days after. I'm thinking I'm being rather optimistic given that I've just came off bc and haven't had a withdrawl bleed or period. If still no sign I'm going to do a test on 15th august!
I wish u all well!!!

Cupcake11 · 12/08/2013 14:05

Hi ladies, is everybody back in the 2ww now?

Wildwaterfalls · 12/08/2013 15:03

Hi Cupcake how are you? And welcome mama.

I'm on ov day today so DTD tonight and probably tmw to be sure. My ov is late in the cycle though, so I expect most others are already 2ww-ing...

OP posts:
Cupcake11 · 12/08/2013 19:41

Hi Wild! Do you mind me asking what cycle day you ovulate out of how many?
I have a 31 day cycle, I don't chart or use an ov kit so I'm just wondering what's the latest I might ovulate.
Have fun tonight Wink

Wildwaterfalls · 12/08/2013 22:21

My cycle is usually 31 days, and ov sometimes as late as cd20, although it seems cd18 this month.

I've been complaining on another thread about my ov prediction kit, which started indicating high fertility about a week ago but only indicated peak fertility today - so a bit tired of trying by this point Smile

Where are you now in your cycle?

OP posts:
Cupcake11 · 12/08/2013 22:36

I'm cycle day 21 today so I'm pretty sure I must have ovulated by now. We've being dtd a lot this month to cover all bases but DH was away for a night around the time I think I ovulated. I know one night won't matter but I can't help but think that was the night we should have done it. Ridiculous!

Hope your ov kit is right and you're fertile now. It sounds frustrating, I can't decide whether you're better off knowing or not!

Wildwaterfalls · 14/08/2013 11:57

You've done very well if you've only missed one night I think!!! How are you feeling now? I suppose it's a bit early for symptoms isn't it...

I keep wanting to have a diet coke and then thinking maybe I shouldn't. But I guess maybe one would be ok?

Really fingers crossed for this month!

OP posts:
Cupcake11 · 14/08/2013 13:16

I'm sure one diet coke can't hurt :)

I think I'm about 6 days po but I don't know for sure. I had cramping on and off all day yesterday but I've just been diagnosed with IBS so it could have been that!

I'm not really sure what implantation is supposed to feel like anyway - if it lasts all day or if it's a quick one off thing.

Also my boobs are sore but I'm sure it's far too early for any of that being down to pregnancy. I often get sore boobs before AF although it's not due for over a week.

Hope you manage to avoid manic symptom spotting Wild, I've failed.

Cupcake11 · 14/08/2013 13:46

Also - I've had quite heavy CM today. Quite thick and white - I thought it was meant to get less after ov? Confused

Wildwaterfalls · 14/08/2013 20:30

Oh sorry to hear about the IBS. That must be really painful. And annoying that it muddles up the symptom spotting. As if the whole thing isn't confusing enough already!

I'll be right behind you on the symptom spotting front - right now at 2dpo it really is too early but expect I will start feeling all sorts of things soon.

Very annoyingly someone asked me recently if I was expecting number 2 Angry. I had a caesarian with DD and still struggling a little bit with the tummy area, and now I'm all paranoid that everyone thinks I'm pregnant when I am not!! Bought some control underwear today! Sorry not sure why I shared all that Blush.

Re CM I think the ovulation kind is meant to be clear and stretchy, but don't quote me on that..

OP posts:
Cupcake11 · 15/08/2013 09:47

My god, some people are so rude! Even if you do suspect someone is pregnant you wait until they're ready to tell you before asking! Shock

Yes, you're right. Ovulation CM is clear and stretchy but I thought CM in general was meant to wind down after ovulation - mine seems to be getting heavier. Oh well, only seven days till I can poas.

Wildwaterfalls · 17/08/2013 17:30

How's it going Cupcake? Do you think the CM might be a pregnancy symptom? Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Are you testing mid next week?

Complete absence of symptoms here... I've never felt less nauseous / achy etc in my life! Hmm But otoh this is 5dpo so perhaps that is the explanation.... Not giving up yet! Will probably test next weekend or a day or two before

OP posts:
Cupcake11 · 18/08/2013 10:00

Hi Wild, it's probably not a symptom, I'm just trying to get my head around the whole cm monitoring. I'm not temping or using ov kits so its all I've got to go on really.

I haven't had any symptoms other than really, really sore boobs. Even when I'm just sitting there they're throbbing. I always get sore boobs before af but I checked this thread for when I got them last time and it was just a few days before af, this month it was over a week. As usual it could mean something or it could be absolutely nothing.

Af is due on Thursday but I'm going to wait till Friday before testing. Let me know if you start to get any symptoms...

Wildwaterfalls · 20/08/2013 18:52

Hi Cupcake! I think the boobs thing sounds really promising! Any news yet? It's almost Friday isn't it??

I had my first little potential symptom just now, feeling very shaky and lightheaded. But that could very well be my light lunch and active afternoon!

I bought Internet cheap tests this time as I hated wasting the money last month - but that does mean I have 30 tests lying in the bathroom wanting to be done!! No point today do - only 8dpo!

OP posts:
Cupcake11 · 20/08/2013 21:29

Feeling lightheaded is a good sign! I've been really upset today because my boobs have been less sore. I had a bit of brown spotting on Sunday which I'd convinced myself was implantation bleeding. I've never had spotting before my period before.
But then I woke up this morning and my boobs felt fine so I don't think it's my month. They do feel tender again now but I'm not sure it would come and go like that if I was pregnant Hmm
I keep changing my mind on when I'm going to test, I'm going to try to wait till Friday as I'm off work so can spend it being happy or sad - either way I'd rather be at home!

Wildwaterfalls · 21/08/2013 10:16

How interesting re potential implementation bleeding. I think soreness of boobs does come and go, so I wouldn't feel too negative about that.

My lightheadedness only lasted a couple of hours and now I'm back to feeling completely normal / no symptoms again...Hmm

Not sure when to start testing - Sunday at the latest I think. Will you last till Friday?

OP posts:
Cupcake11 · 21/08/2013 12:51

When is AF due for you wild? I wouldn't worry about no symptoms, how many of them are in our heads anyway? About 90 per cent I'd guess.

I'm going to try to hold out till Friday, AF is due tomorrow and if I'm not pregnant I'd rather find out that way then with a BFN. It's funny though, when I was convinced I was pregnant I had no problem waiting to test, now I think I'm not I just want to do it to know one way or the other.

Wildwaterfalls · 22/08/2013 09:52

I know what you mean about the mixed feeling re testing v waiting for AF. When I think I might be pregnant I am quite happy to wait in a way as I want that dream to last! Smile Any sign if AF so far?

I'm due on Monday so still a while to go. Have had a kind of symptom though: went to the GP yesterday as DD has a rash, and when he told me off (rather rudely) for essentially wasting his time I burst into tears and couldn't stop crying for most of the rest of the afternoon. Very Blush and very unlike me...

Have pulled myself together now!!

OP posts:
Cupcake11 · 22/08/2013 13:54

Ha, you poor thing! Doctors make me want to burst into tears every time I see them so that wouldn't be a symptom for me!
No sign of AF yet but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Let me know if you get any more symptoms!
