Lol Dosney, I've already told Jayden he's to get his first girlfriend pregnant and it better be a girl, although he was sleeping and I had had some wine at the time so he'll never know about that conversation Smile

BartBaby · 04/07/2013 16:44

linda im sure you and dh will come to the right decision for you both. Its a hard decision to make. I really really hope that this is your month so you dont have to make it Flowers

It looks like there's a few of you's waiting for ov. I used the amazon cheapy opk's and had a couple of days fainter lines then a dark one. So im sure ov isnt far away. I dont drink a lot of water note to self to try and drink more which could be why ie had good strong results?! No harm in doing them twice a day just to be in the safe side Smile

blueamber it is likely that you did ov if you had signs. But i know our body's like to confuse us and doubt ourselves. Hang on in there.

somedizzy it does sound like it could be the start of af, but then again as we all know there are so many different signs and symptoms and none of it means anything! Lol. I would test tomorrow with fmu like fox said. And if bfn then wait it out and see if af shows up properly. I was temping and have found that the past 2 nights when ive woken up all hit and sweaty, my temp has been lower than it was before af arrived on tuesday! Again another way for our body to play tricks on us.

My boobs go back to normal with no pain almost immediately after af arrives. Its such much better! Well ive been to the docs anyway and she didnt say anything i wasnt expecting her to say (the hormones can take a while to get back to normal and keep taking vitamins etc etc etc) but she didnt seem overly concerned and that the light af's might not mean that the lining is too thin to hold a little bean. So im a little bit more hopeful. And she said if they havent settled down after the 6 month mark to go back. So im half way there. And were sort of having a couple of months off anyway well im going to try to so i can enjoy my holiday more i already feel a little bit less stressed this month. So hopefully af's will be all sorted out by the time we get back and we can crack on with things Smile

DisneyDiva87 · 04/07/2013 16:53

Sounds pretty positive Bart hope it all sorts out soon.

Well now Londa you better specify exactly now, he could have his first girlfriend any day (if he hasn't already). My children (possibly me as well) would be disowned by my mother if they got pregnant before marriage so I'll have years to wait. Well maybe she'll have softened by the time my kids are teenagers, she told me not to bother coming home if I got pregnant when I started dating my DH Shock.

I think I'm addicted to confused skittles; must. stop. eating.

lindamagoo · 04/07/2013 17:00

14 at the youngest, lol, I'm just kidding, I'll be keeping a supply of condoms in here all through their teen years Smile I'm addicted to chilli heatwave Doritos and salsa dip just now, love them

DisneyDiva87 · 04/07/2013 17:24

I hope he enjoys what is left of his childhood Wink

I ate so many I feel sick now but I really want more.

IWantOneNow · 04/07/2013 17:32

Good idea. And, although its hard to do, try not to let it get the better of you, try to relax and not think about it too much! (Yeah right!) Wink

DisneyDiva87 · 04/07/2013 17:33

I know, must I just can't get those skittles off my mind IWant

Wink
Fairypants · 04/07/2013 17:37

I'll be testing tomorrow too Linda. We're away for the weekend and its just too much to try and hide pg tests from the kids once they can read and have sex ed. If its -ive, I'll test again on Monday if af doesn't come early again.

lel74 · 04/07/2013 17:51

I think I'm off the bus now, after being 5 days late I think AF is almost here, there was a tiny bit of blood when I went to the loo just now Sad I'm glad I didn't test now lol. Good luck to all those who are waiting to find out x

FoxMulder · 04/07/2013 17:59

Wow Linda, you've got some serious energy, stamina, tollerance, patience and a whole lot more if you've got a 4 year old and a 2 year old and you want a baby! Grin. Over the last few years if I ever felt broody I would go visit my sister and her kids and would swiftly be put off. It's full-on at her house.

lindamagoo · 04/07/2013 18:20

Good luck for tomorrow then Fairy Smile

Fox I always wanted 5 kids, obviously I'm too old for that now but since my mmc when I was younger I never ever got pregnant again til 37 and now I know I can get pregnant I want it all over again

Thatssofunny · 04/07/2013 18:40

BFP!!!!! Shock Grin
Really, really faint,...but even DP can see it. AF was due yesterday. His first question: "Do you have to have it checked by the doctor? Are these real?"

My symptoms this cycle: None whatsoever I really thought I was out for this month.

onelittlepiglet · 04/07/2013 18:43

Congratulations thatssofunny! Another BFP woo how!

LittleMachine · 04/07/2013 19:30

Yay congratulations Thats! Thanks

LittleMachine · 04/07/2013 19:32

I am symptom-tastic. Sore boobs, nauseous, emotional (Ofsted didn't help!), exhausted, niggly pain, nails of steel, raging thirst. That's why I tested early.

Also I look about 6 months pregnant when I am actually about 6 minutes!

Dumdeedumdeedum · 04/07/2013 19:44

Congratulations thatssofunny!! And as to no symptoms I'll tell you a funny story, with DS1 because of my PCOS I was 4 months pg before I realised and I had no symptoms at all except tiredness and some stretching feelings... In the end I booked a docs appointment cause I was convinced I had something awful going on down there and tested because I was sure that's the first thing they would ask and bam BFP!!! My advice to you all is don't test on Friday morning before work!

impatientlywaiting · 04/07/2013 19:51

Hi all, I've been checking in and catching up on this page for the past fortnight, and now i'm in the dreaded 2ww i'm using it as my bible.
Congratulations to all of the BFPs!!! It's been such a great start to the month. It makes me feel really positive when I read about all of the lucky mums to be.

I'm hoping that I DTD about the right time this month, but I was working away for a few nights. I'm not entirely sure when I o'd. I bought a thermometer last month, and still to this day I've never remembered to use it when I wake up. I keep it by the side of my bed too, but it's always when i've been up about half an hour I remember.

I think that from my CM I o'd around CD10, I have a 26 day cycle, does that seem like it's too early? We DTD after that anyway, so hopefully if I actually o'd later then I'm still in with a chance.

Good luck to anyone testing in the next few days. xx

Thatssofunny · 04/07/2013 19:51

Thanks. Still in a state of shock and constantly checking when I go to the toilet now. Blush My colleague just miscarried at 7 weeks, so I'm rather terrified. Sad

Spoke to my parents and told them. My mum is really excited to become a nan for the first time and my dad was just speechless when I explained the weird picture I sent them by e-mail. "Well, dad,..it's not a motion sensor. It's a pregnancy test. It means you'll become a grandad in March,...all going well." Grin
They knew we've been trying for quite a while now, although my mum tried to console me with the idea that I can at least drink at my wedding, if I don't get pregnant. She's happy regardless of me now not being able to join in the drinking bit. (I would assume that a glass or two of champagne at my own wedding will be ok. I generally do not drink much at all...and the nurse always stares at me when I say that it's on average less than one unit per week.)

DP told his mum and she apparently screamed the house down in excitement. (They've already got two grandchildren.)

Oh, Little, hope Ofsted went ok. They are horrible!! I actually burst into tears during my feedback. (There was no need, he was praising my lesson and it had gone well...I was just utterly exhausted.)

lel74 · 04/07/2013 20:10

Congratulations Thatsso Flowers hope it all goes smoothly for you x

DisneyDiva87 · 04/07/2013 20:15

Congrats thatsso Thanks

Seems to be a theme this month that no symptoms results in a BFP!

lindamagoo · 04/07/2013 20:21

Welcome impatiently, hope you have a nice quick 2ww and get a bfp Smile
