Come join us on the July bus - with its assortment of good luck charms, lots of cake and hopefully a busload of BFPs.

Congratulations Marie Grin Grin Grin
I wonder who will have the bfp? This thread is getting very exciting now.
Yesterday I wrote that I had no symptoms at all apart from tingly nipples, but since then I've had every symptom under the sun. Cramps, cm, mild nausea feeling. It could be nothing, but it's making me want to test this morning. I don't have any trays in the house but might save fmu and nip out to get one.

Lol! Apparently not having tests in the house is not a cure for a POAS addiction. I'm only 11 dpo but I got a bfp at 10 days with dd (and a feint one at 9dpo not using fmu).

Ninunina · 03/07/2013 07:06

vikki if you had some fresh (red) blood then count it as day 1, if not then you will probably get something today. I must say, it took me a good few cycles for AF to feel normal again and go back to its old pattern. I had been on the pill for about a decade though.

LittleMissPear · 03/07/2013 07:38

Feeling quiteGrin this morning, got my first smiley face on an opk! Makes me feel like a real woman! So, lots of DTD for the next few days.

Vikkijayne2507 · 03/07/2013 07:44

Yes it is was I have done counted it as day 1 yesterday, I expect it will get back to normal soonish enough, i think its positive the first sign of spotting was on cd28 and red blood on cd29 so hopefully my cycles wont go toooo crazy.

I am enjoying this bus ride ladies keep the BFPs coming and keep passing the cake back to us at the back of the bus please Grin

lindamagoo · 03/07/2013 08:26

Little, good luck with the shagfest then, hope this is your month Smile

CaptainCalamari · 03/07/2013 08:40

Morning all!
Congrats on the smiley littlemisspear!
I'm 13 dpo today, with all the usual AF signs... only slight hope is a weird feeling like I've pulled a muscle in my stomach - happened when I turned over in bed which isn't usually enough exercise for me to pull something! Argh promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot this time around as I know from DS that the month I got my BFP I had no symptoms whatsoever (unlike all the preceeding months when I was sure that a slight ache in my big toe must mean this was it! Grin)
Good luck today with all the shagging and POASing!

gillywillywoo · 03/07/2013 08:56

Argghhh cd21 and still no positive opk!

Was so happy last month when I got one on cd20... I know I'm only cd21 now but feeling like I'm either having a REALLY long cycle this month (I had a 48 day cycle a couple of months ago Sad)
OR maybe I won't ovulate at all this cycle??! Blush

Feeling sad!

gillywillywoo · 03/07/2013 09:00

Gonna carry on using OPKs though... If I'm having a longer cycle then obviously I will ovulate later so.. Must plod on!
Blahhhhhh.

FoxMulder · 03/07/2013 09:04

Argh, gilly, what a total pain in the arse! What kind of OPKs are you using? Keep persevering, it should be any day now...

lindamagoo · 03/07/2013 09:05

Oh gilly I hope you get a positive soon. Is there nothing the doctor can give you to help your cycles?

gillywillywoo · 03/07/2013 09:10

Using clearblue digis...

Doctor isn't interested yet because I only came off the pill at the end of December after 10 years of being on it and she says it takes time to get back to normal.. Hmm

Redbug · 03/07/2013 09:13

Gilly I would say six months is a fair bit of time to get back to normal! When did you see her last?

Conrats to the BFPs, hopefully we'll see a few more soon.

AF due tomorrow and I have not a single solitary pg symptom to occupy myself with, not so much as a sore boob! But I did get comedy PMT hysteria yesterday, right on time, so am expecting AF either this afternoon or tomorrow. Am slightly peeved, as DTD absolutely shitloads this month (I know that doesn't necessarily affect our chances as lots of that will have been out of fertile window, but come on!), so was really quite optimistic.

FoxMulder · 03/07/2013 09:15

Are they the ones that do a flashing smiley first?

Frustrating about the doctor. 7 months is a decent length of time for things to settle. How long does she want you to wait?

lindamagoo · 03/07/2013 09:16

Gilly I agree with red, 6 months is plenty of time for things to have settled down, I'd go back and ask again, they should help you if your ttc, but then we all know what the doctors are like Hmm

lindamagoo · 03/07/2013 09:17

Red I've heard loads of people say that the only month they had no symptoms was the month they fell so your not out yet Smile

FoxMulder · 03/07/2013 09:23

Fingers crossed for you redbug

I'm trying to manage my expectations, but I'm feeling optimistic too. Last month I didn't believe I could possibly be pregnant (I mean, I've been having sex for nearly 10 years and never have been Smile) and then I was (although obviously it didn't stick). So now it feels like, well if it worked last month, why not this one? Stupid logic, I know.

gillywillywoo · 03/07/2013 09:26

Since coming off the pill my cycles have been 31 days, 29, 30, 47 and 33.

I only started using OPKs properly last month when I got a positive on cd20 and we haven't really been trying all of those months. I'd say I'm on cycle 3 of trying now.

Dunno what to do. I've only had 1 really messed up cycle... The rest were reasonably normal I suppose.

gillywillywoo · 03/07/2013 09:30

So I'm in my 6th cycle since coming off the pill now... 3rd cycle of actually trying to conceive and 2nd cycle of using OPKs.

Pretty sure my doctor will look at those stats and say I'm fine and to keep trying.

I'll see what happens this cycle ie how long it lasts and whether I get a positive OPK at all.

Blah Sad

Dumdeedumdeedum · 03/07/2013 09:32

KLAXON EWCM Spotting late last night, but -ve OPK at 6pm...odd but DTD just in case Grin

Gilly my OPK packet said not to use FMU for the test as the hormone isn't released that early in the day it says test between 10am and 8pm.

FoxMulder · 03/07/2013 09:32

Wait and see what happens this time, I guess. If it's another crazy one then back to the doctors. But you're right, those other ones are not too variable.

gillywillywoo · 03/07/2013 09:36

Dumdeedum... I'm not sure what to believe! Mine say FMU is fine... That's what I did last month and I got my smiley face.

I always look at the lines as well though and so far I'm getting faint lines every day whereas last month the test line started to get darker every day from about 3 days before my positive.

So annoying.

blueamber · 03/07/2013 09:42

Congrats to all the BFPs!!

I'm a day late now but got a BFN. The wait continues Hmm

lindamagoo · 03/07/2013 09:50

I've got a kind of tight feeling in my lower tummy, gets worse when I cough, not sure if its a symptom but I did say as this is my last month I'm gona symptom spot like crazy Smile

CaptainCalamari · 03/07/2013 09:52

Hope that smiley turns up soon Gilly! For what its worth, the cycle I conceived DS I don't think I got a smiley until CD22, longest cycle ever for me... I think I was brewing an extra big egg! So keep the faith (and throw a bit of extra DTD in there just in case you've got a faulty batch of sticks!)

DisneyDiva87 · 03/07/2013 11:13

So many people with promising imagined symptoms Grin I think we've managed to get to a point where no symptoms are a symptom!

I'm pretty sure I'm out this month I've no idea what's going on with my body and only managed to DTD once in my possibly fertile window thanks to parents being over.
