Aw sorry demented I was being selfish and just added myself! Hope you get that bfp soon :)

Buddhagirl · 03/06/2013 12:45

Was discussing moving out of the inlaws house yesterday with dh and he came out with "maybe in a couple of months if moving out is taking too long we could just start ttc while saving loads of money" (we are very spoilt, have a whole floor of the house and don't pay rent, it would be feasible to start ttc... Noise wise, if you get my drift Blush) plus every month we don't move out we save about 1k. So now I don't know when it will happen! As soon as he gets his first pay check from his new job we can get the ball rolling with the house. I'm so impatient!!

DisneyDiva87 · 03/06/2013 13:15

Me and hubby started TTC and then a friend of hubby's has come to stay until he gets himself a new house, the walls between our rooms are just plaster board...

Buddhagirl · 03/06/2013 13:56

He he :)

ThedementedPenguin · 03/06/2013 21:09

Oh it's okay Buddha I'm not too worried.

Oh disney talk about bad timing. :( can I ask when you came off cerrazette did you have a 'withdrawal' bleed or nothing until week 5?

DisneyDiva87 · 03/06/2013 22:50

Here's a helpful post... Confused

I am not 100% sure about the withdrawal bleed cause I was having a bit of spotting at the time I stopped taking cerazette (wish I had waited till after spotting stopped now but I was too darn excited at the time!) I counted the bleed after 5 weeks as my first period even though it might not have been.

ItCameFromOuterSpace · 03/06/2013 23:37

Hello everyone, I've since nc but am the OP. am currently 29+1 and washing everyone good luck with ttc or wttc. bridget huge congrats on your BFP just seen this!

moominlike · 04/06/2013 09:01

I also googled about cerazette and was a bit Shock but everyone is different. The last time I came off it AF returned within about 5/6 weeks. This time AF didn't get a look in!

Hi OP nice to hear things are going well :)

Amymia03 · 04/06/2013 21:11

Hi everyone,

Could I join please?
I'm 28, I have one DD aged 9, feeling really broody at the moment and would love to add to our family.
We have a family holiday end of July, I then have a hen do in ibiza at the end of August, so having to wait until after then.
I am a little worried as I have had two mirena coils, without a break inbetween for the past 8 years. Any advice on when I should have it removed before starting to try?

DisneyDiva87 · 05/06/2013 09:56

If you know you are going to start trying soon Amy I don't see why you couldn't book to get the coil out now, it could take a couple of months for your first AF to come through and the first couple probably won't be regular so you could just use condoms for a couple of months if you want to wait? It will help with knowing when you've ov'd if your periods are more regular when you start TTC.

I think that's what I would do if it was me.

20122012 · 05/06/2013 10:07

Hi mummies and mummies to be.

Can I join? I currently have a DD who is 6 months. Was thinking of ttc DC2. Wanted to get others thoughts on ttc whilst ebfing?? Is it possible??

Ta v much ladies.

FaddyPeony · 05/06/2013 10:20

Hi 20122012. Have your periods returned yet? Mine didn't come back until DD was about 12 months but everyone's different.I guess at 6months your DD is probably still having plenty of feeds (at night too I'd imagine)? I think it's definitely possible to get pregnant while breastfeeding, though, many women have!

I've more or less decided I'm going to come off the pill mid-August. I'm going to a wedding in September and I'd quite like to be able to have a few drinks at it, so probably will use condoms until then. It feels so weird to be deciding this though, almost feel like I'm jinxing things...

20122012 · 05/06/2013 10:51

Aww don't say that faddypeony. I'm sure it's not jinxed anything. How old is you DC now?

No periods as yet. Although with weaning and less feeds - I have notice in last few weeks feeds are not as often as before - I'm thinking periods will return. Just wondering if they don't could I still conceive?

I would like my body back, but at same time thinking I should try to have another as close to the first so that I can do all the nappies, waking at night in the next few years. Also with maternity leave I'd get more time off again with dd1. Just wanted to get others thoughts on age gaps for baby no2 really.

ThedementedPenguin · 05/06/2013 14:07

20122012 my ds is nearly 9 months old. Donor much older than yours, We have finally agreed to start TTC number 2.

Are you waiting for a specific time or going to start once periods return?

20122012 · 05/06/2013 15:22

Hi thedementedpenguin. Ideally, as anal as it sounds I'd like next baby to be one school year after dd1 which means conceiving by November lol. But that's silly of me!! So we are basically ttc now. Obviously would help if periods returned to make it easier to track But given that you can conceive without having a period technically means that I could get pregnant now!?

What about you? Are you ebfing? Have your periods returned?

Buddhagirl · 05/06/2013 17:27

Well my dh is all over the place, first it was wait til the new house, then it was stay with inlaws and save money while ttc, then it was seriously consider ttc when we have mortgage in principle and more money and been in his new job for a while. Make up your bloody mind!

I feel like someone else is dictating (and constantly changing) a massive part of my life. Obviously it needs to be a mutual decision when we are both ready and in a good place, I just wish he would make up his mind as to when that might be! It would be easier to have the flat rule : when we have the new new house, even though that is further away at least I would know for sure.

Buddhagirl · 05/06/2013 17:30

Do you guys think it is just as (or more) frustrating waiting to ttc #2 than #1?

DisneyDiva87 · 05/06/2013 17:31

DH and I had that same problem Buddha thing is there will always be something to wait for even when you have a house. My argument to DH was "what if we buy a house now then have a kid and find the house isn't suitable anymore" Our current priorities are going to be completely flipped on their heads when a baby comes along. I also really struggled with him saying "lets just do it" and then "no lets wait" it really messes you about so make sure he knows how it affects you emotionally.

Buddhagirl · 05/06/2013 17:39

I'll give him a few more months of changing his mind then I'll pin him down to a decision, there will be no place to hide, mwahaha.

Luckily we decided to get a house that will last us for a while, taking into account a nice road, 2 bedrooms, half decent schools. So, thats cool.

I would not cope well if he said let's go for it then changed his mind!

Buddhagirl · 05/06/2013 17:41

Disney, can't see you on the list, how long do you have to wait?

Amymia03 · 05/06/2013 18:38

Thank you disneydiva for your advice. Your right, it would make more sense to have the coil removed now, and give my body a chance to get back to normal. X

DisneyDiva87 · 05/06/2013 18:56

I am actually TTC now buddha but when I first started on these boards I was still waiting for my AF after stopping the pill so don't think I am actually on the list. This is my first cycle. I just kept on popping in Here Felt too rude to just stop cause I was TTC!

ThedementedPenguin · 05/06/2013 20:45

20122012 I'm not ebf. My periods had returned after birth but I was on cerazette from November and my last period was over Christmas. So I'm waiting for it to return now. But we are pretty much happy for it to happen when ever it's right.

Oh buddha I hope you and your Dh can agree sometime soon. It's probably a good idea to give him some time then start the chat again. I'd imagine its very frustrating hearing all different ideas. Although it is a hard decision to make. So he could be afraid to do it in the wrong order.

I agree about finding this frustrating. We never TTC number 1. He was a lovely surprise so planning and waiting is annoying. Although I'm going to try and have plans everyday so I'm not sitting thinking bout it all the time, as it can completely take over your whole thought.

Amy I agree. It would be a great idea to take the coil out now, that way it gives your body time to readjust.

OwlBeThereForYou · 05/06/2013 20:50

Buddha that is how I feel, our waiting is depending on our own home, which is waiting for a better job for DH, it feels like it's waiting for everyone else rather than what we want. And there are days where we say fuck it, it's probably gonna take ages anyway, but then we have to be sensible Hmm I don't want to be sensible any more!

OwlBeThereForYou · 05/06/2013 20:53

Also any tiny "symptom" I get over excited...even tho I'm still on the pill Hmm I'm pretty sure I imagine most of them Grin

Not imagining this weeks sore boobs tho, they definitely hurt...sorry if that was tmi and you didn't want to knowGrin
