Well If I ovulated when I thought I did (w/e 5th) then today I would be 8dpo.

Now I have a query. If I'm having a really long cycle and I ovulated around cd35 (now cd43) then will the luteal phase still be 14days or more? And do you think implantation would still take the same amount of time?! I think it should do shouldn't it

Hey ladies so got my hcg back and may 8 it was 25 then may 10 it was 49 so it's doubling every 48 hours I have another blood and doctors thing today but the receptionist said she's congratulating me anyways! So I think I'm ready to be added to the list!! Doc still thinks it's low but I thought doubling every 48 hours was a good thing I'm only 4w2d now and was 3w4d and 3w6d for the first two tests

Congrats kat doll and my three!

I'm on cd28 today. Cycle between cd27 and cd31. Got woken up last night with cramping so thought af was coming but hasn't yet appeared... Was a bit better once I got up and walked about betwn 3 and 4am then came back briefly. One weird pain in my side today at work for a second or so. Boobs extremely sore but get that with pms too.

Feel like I am going a bit mad and imagining stuff!

Well I'm normally between 31-34 days since the MC, and I'm on day 35. No BFP but also no red witch so I don't know what to think. :(

Congrats on the bfps. I think I'm 8/9 dpo and I have had really bad cramping for two days. Worse than AF cramps...never had anything like this before and also had an unusual amount of CM today!! What does this mean?????

percy sounds similar to me last mth but hope it isn't as af arrived day later. Maybe implantation pains?
jellybean hopefully your lp should stay same so your bfp date will be bit later

hi xkatxdoll, what a rollercoaster you must be having. Sorry to hear the hcg has gone down again, how are you feeling?

Just checking in and really happy to hear for the rest of you with BFPs. Not much news here, had a negative test on saturday, was in a foul mood (BFN, crappy work, tired etc all probably contributing) all weekend, now cd36 and no sign of AF but mood is beginning to improve so maybe that's a sign she's on her way...! Not helped by being seemingly surrounded by babies/pregnancy women everywhere I go... So for those of us still crossing fingers and obsessively symptom spotting, here's hoping for more BFPs this month.

Ya it sucks I had a dream before I found out I was pregnant that I was having triplets so maybe that meant my 1 and a half year old daughter I have now and my miscarriage two months ago and then this one now so hopefully the next one will stick doc gave me the go ahead that I can start again next cycle so I'll see some of you ladies on the June bus!!

Oh no katxdoll so sorry :( how did u find out so late in evening about your bloods? Why have they been testing your hcg in first place? Xx

There has been lots of DTDing at this end! It's been great fun! Got home and found the DP actually in bed waiting! ;-)
Haven't managed to steer clear of booze totally. Had a posh dinner where questions would have been asked, but i was sensible!
Absolutely no symptoms for me. In fact I feel totally normal.
BFP not due til 24th so I'm properly 2WWing. I just can't see it happening for me this month - particularly as its first cycle for me (and I'm old and knackered!)
Went to see friends on Sun. 3 week old baby! Totally gorgeous! Could definitely feel my ovaries twitching so maybe there's life in them yet!
When is the earliest I can test? Have some cheapies and a CBD (to be saved for a special occasion)

Pre-AF spotting here

Bad luck Katdoll, but I think I am also having the shortest pregnancy in history - started spotting brown blood this morning, now wearing a pad, cramping less but ongoing. TBH the cramping has not happened in either of my 2 other (healthy) pgs so I think I'm about to MC. Feeling brave about it as am so few days in, and just hope it happens fairly quickly to give me a chance to move on. Anyhow, I'll let you know what happens, maybe spotting is normal??? If no massive rush of blood I'll test on Friday to see if hormone levels are still indicating pg...any other advice??

Having never been pg myself I can't offer any proper advice but I will say that reading countless things on here, that brown blood is old blood and can appear at the time when AF was supposed to show, something to do with uterus starting to stretch and dislodging the blood. I hope this is the case for you, virtual hand grasp x

Mythree, I had bleeding when pregnant with DS and I know how worrying it is. For me it was implantation, which the drs at the epu told me doesn't always follow the typical pattern of a pre-BFP couple of days. For me, bleeding lasted from week 5 until week 12. They scanned me at 5 weeks (measuring 4+3) and 7 weeks (normal). I was a nervous wreck the whole time.
When DS was born, a twin sized placenta came with him, so they then suggested the bleeding lasted so long because I mc'd his twin.
Please try and be positive. Do you have a local EPU?

Hi Minion and LittleMachine thanks for your words of advice. Having just spent the last hour trawling through old posts it seems it's a 50:50 chance either late implantation bleeding and cramping due to uterine 'stretching' or onset of a MC / ectopic. I'm going to sit quietly all morning and drink sugared tea and cross my fingers! I can't believe you bled from week 5 - week 12!! With DS1 I had 2 episodes of bleeding but both minute compared to this and much later on. I'm not sure about an EPU - I'll have a look into that now, thanks!

You sometimes need referring by your doctor, but if you find one, ring them and ask if you need to be referred or go in.
They may scan you (internally most likely), but probably not yet, as it would be too early to see much. As an aside, if you have an internal scan, you need an empty bladder, not full.
I hope everything is ok. The time will be slow until you know either way. I'll be thinking of you.
