Well day 4 of brown mucus now (sorry TMI) but still no actual blood. Surely this can't be my period?! Not sure whether to POAS tomorrow or not whilst this is still going on

tinkerbelle have you got ic's you can use? It won't hurt just to be sure.

percy don't give up hope hun, I was feeling exactly like you are this time a month ago when my af came. Then cycle 8 was my lucky number

Have 1 cheap tesco test left. Think I will test in the morning but feeling really nervous. If it is a bfn then I'm not sure whether to count this brown stuff as my period it's just so strange. Feel like it will kind of mess up my next cycle now.

I am going POAS crazy. I have done 3 today! All BFN. Feel like AF is on its way, which would be both a bad and good thing. Bad for the obvious reason, and good because it would be my first ever 28 day cycle!

Ok so if af was holding out to be longest cycle ever it was due today. Decided that after being an idiot on sat and testing and getting a bfn i would at least hold out until today.
I figured if it was gonna come it should be here by 14dpo as last few cycles have only lasted 7dpo and cant imagine b6 is having that much impact.
Anyway no af first thing and thought lets do this and holy cow it looks like bfp!!
Keep checking it just to be sure but 2 lines def appeared within about 3-4 mins on my tesco test.
One line is quite faint so will test again tomoz or get a digi one before i go totally crazy!!

I am def gonna hold back the excitement a bit until i double check tomorrow.
I keep looking at it as although i have felt strange for the past week or so (and there has been a niggling feeling that i could be pg) now i actually might have a bfp it doesnt seem real at all.

Well just POAS and bfn I just don't know what's going on. Guess this brown stuff is my actual AF but I still haven't had any actual blood just brown mucus on wiping and a small amount on panty liner. I'm guessing I count thurs as CD1 and hope this hasn't messed up my next cycle.

Well ladies i'm now at 16dpo & still no af. Sore boobs & a little crampy, & tired, but this could still all be signs of impending af. Last time i was pg i had a very definite metallic taste & felt pretty strange & i dont have that this time, although last time i tested on cd40 & only got the symptoms a couple of days beforehand so maybe still too soon. Am gonna wait til 18dpo (as suggested by ff) & then test.

I know I sound crazy now but looked at test and sure I can see a faint horizontal line. What is that about?! It's not vertical like control window so guess its nothing just there to taunt me!

I am right at the bottom of the list as i had no idea when af was really due as have had random cycles and this cycle was completely different to all the rest.
Its good to know that I wasnt imagining feeling sick, but other than that i have just had cramps (everyday for the past 8 days or so) and needed the loo lots (but i was drinking more so thought it was just that) and lots of indigestion. I half put it all down to the fact that I have been eating pretty badly over the past week, but i guess not.
Just need to stay calm and positive now i guess and hope that a line still appears tomorrow when i double check I am not imagining things.

Fertility friend app seems to think AF will arrive tomorrow... Not sure about that! Doesn't feel like AF is coming any time soon. Grrrr.

This whole waiting for two weeks to test/get your period is enough to drive anyone crazy.

It has driven me crazy. Seeing as I have got so many BFNs I'm hoping AF turns up now so I can get on with cycle 3/month 4.

Gilly - I think my first post pill cycle was 63 days!

Im 3 days late now, bfn, tummy pains but not to the usual high level pre-af. Think my "bits" have gone on strike/holiday.

Still, lovely weather and making the most of the bank holiday.

However I AM confused because since coming off the pill my cycles were relatively normal straight away (30,29 and 31 days).. Now suddenly I'm on day 43!

It's like it was all going so well and then my body was like "oh crap you want me to carry on doing this? Every month? No!"
