thanks olives

keep I am on progesterone pessaries and climival which supports the womble lining. I think it is a form of hrt but I take increased dose of 3 tabs a day.

keepitgoing · 21/04/2013 14:47

That's weird they didn't give you enough to get through to OTD... It's quite a late one they gave you anyway, most are about 16dpo it seems. A quick Google it looks like you'll be on them for a while.

Oh, it's just the best news; hope you're having a lovely day, expect you're in disbelief. Flowers

BeedlesPineNeedles · 21/04/2013 15:03

I can't believe they wanted you to wait until next weekend to test sweetie

I'm on my way home after a lovely sunny weekend away with MrB, I'm going to have to get him into a hotel room more often during shag week. 3 times in 2 days is almost unheard of for us. Anyway we've done our best to get our ironic pre-IVF BFP now I just need to relax for the next 2 weeks :o

boo I thought it had been warmer in England recently? Hope booby makes an appearance soon

Sweetie, that's fantastic news! Congratulations! Grin Grin

So so pleased for you!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 21/04/2013 19:34

Ask away Kitty this certainly is the place to be :) we're good, us brookers! For DS 1 it was a few months (but that was 16 years ago Shock) DS 2 is where the trouble started, I was trying for 2.5 years, this little booby took a year to conceive :)

Remind us of your story so far??

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 21/04/2013 19:35

Oh and call me boo, no need to be so formal Grin

Will do boo Smile dh and I have been ttc for 2 years, no real reason despite all the tests, iui hopefully starting in June

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 21/04/2013 20:11

That is exactly how we were with DS2, we had some tests done, and (because I already had teen boo) were entitled to treatments up to but not including ivf. Then in the November during a smear they found I had changed cells so decided I should have them all removed and put off ttc for a further 6 months, it was booked for January, I finally got pg at Christmas 2.5 years after starting ttc, and never needed the cells treating as they corrected themselves. Booby was more straightforward but still took a lot of time, the brookers really got me through it!!!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 21/04/2013 20:13

Should say the tests didn't show any reason we couldn't conceive, sperm was normal and I was ovulating, there was no reason we were struggling.

Munxx · 21/04/2013 20:19

sweetie! Amazing news.

Please allow me to do a poor imitation of imp's routine....

So pleased. Just brilliant.

RubberBullets · 21/04/2013 20:32

Fab news sweetie

BlindKitty · 21/04/2013 20:48

boo that really is inspiring to me. Maybe theres hope yet!

Please keep brooking for me guys. xxxx

ControlGeek · 21/04/2013 20:58

We'll always brook for you kitty, that's what we do Grin

keepitgoing · 22/04/2013 01:34

We were just under two years kitty. We had sperm morphology issues at the beginning but though these righted themselves we still didn't conceive. So at the end we were unexplained. We did two cycles of iui, but then decided to move to ivf, which worked first time. Some people suggest ivf is using a sledgehammer to crack a nut, as the issue could have been minor, just not found. But who cares, it works! Doesn't it sweetie.

Unexplained is really hard. They say almost everyone would conceive naturally eventually, but that wasn't good enough for us.

We are brooking for your iui.
