Here we go Brookers, it's been a long year with lots of BFPs and newborn snuggles for the Brookers. We're just a sleigh-ride away from 2013, when the rest of us will get our get our 12 week scans (because of course we will all have BFPs under the christmas tree this year!)

So come all ye brookers, it's tinsel and baubels all the way!

cleo it could still be too early! If it makes you feel any better, my positive test was so so so faint 12DPO mrsparks thought I was imagining things, in fact I never got a fully solid line, I only believed it when I got a positive on a clear blue digital test which didn't happen until 2 days after AF was due!!

Jen is right, she took AF and I got my BFP and I was 3 days late when I got the really faint line :) good luck cleo

Can't contribute to the best time to test discussion though.. I was one who had a weird AF, then felt shocking quite a few days later and thought I'd test 'just in case' before going the doctors..

solars I've mostly avoided mentioning her pg, which is bad, I know. They are coming for two weeks when she'll be 15/16 weeks. This is her second, will she be showing? I'm kind of dreading how I'll handle it. One of the things I was in a mad rage about, though didn't say anything, was her booking her flights when she knew but hadn't told me. Urgh, it'll be tough.

sweetie what are your womb improving drugs? What are your timings again?

Oh and musical take mine too! Due in the next week, post clomid so not very sure.

It has been a very active festive period on the antenatal side of thing and I think there are a few more brooking babies waiting to put in an appearance. Am looking at you tinytock

keep it must be more intense for you when visitors come to visit, you really can not avoid it. I would imagine she will be showing by 15/16 weeks too. I feel for you my dear. will you be young through IUI when she is visiting too?

Geek how have you Yule celebrations gone? are they all over with now?

Cleo it isn't over until proper AF arrives and even then doesn't mean anything just give it a few more days and test again after af is actually due, but all sounding very positive for you

I am on day 6 of taking climaval, which I think is HRT, but I take 6mg rather than the standard 2mg. It has been ok, just feel normal apart from being a bit more frisky than normal but that could be done to being off from work I have to ring the clinic to make an appointment for late next week to be scanned to check womble lining. if all is ok they give me something else to bring on my period and then I will start my down reg jabs to line my cycle with the donor. not sure how long this will all take but things are moving forward

Cleo, there is always hope!! Sounds daft but what are you testing with? Internet cheapies are in fact rubbish!!

Some advice please - AF due yesterday/today. Not actually here yet having mild cramping on an off for about 3 days no spotting and no real symptoms whatsoever. Is there any chance or is AF on he way?

hey sparkly Im testing with amazon ones (they are meant to pick up 10ml rather than the usual 25ml), same type as the opks I used and they worked fine. I have some cramping today but at the mo its more like OV pain than AF pain if that makes sense? I hope im juse testing too early FX

cleo if you're near an asda pick up one their tests, I got my Internet cheapies from amazon and the line remained super faint even when AF was late by over a week!! Just saying!!
