I really hope I haven't missed someone else starting this!

Just popping into say Hi all. sunny good luck today will be thinking of you.

I'm 10 weeks now so waiting for NHS scan date but have had 2 scans with consultant and all good despite some bleeding which was caused by clot on placenta. Smile

DSB

sunnyg · 16/01/2013 17:55

Many thanks for your good wishes for today everyone. EC went fine, a total of 16 eggs. So far so good. I'm always a little cautious but I couldn't have asked for a better start than that. We'll see what the next (anxious!) few days bring and how many fertilise etc.

I really appreciate all of your encouragement! I felt your good vibes today!

Believing!

viviennewestwould · 16/01/2013 18:22

Crumbs, Sunny! That is bloody marvellous! Well done, old girl Thanks

viviennewestwould · 16/01/2013 18:24

My consultant today agreed to do a lap & dye on 19th Feb before referring me to CARE Manchester for IUI. I know the lap probably won't throw anything up but I'm happy to try anything.

Hope you are all well.

Beginningofthejourney · 16/01/2013 18:27

I keep popping in to see how everyone is getting on, just wanted to say good luck sunny hope those little eggs do their thing and at least one is soon growing inside you!
I am 15 weeks now so far so good, actually starting to look at baby things in the shops (not planning on buying anything just yet though)
Hope to see lots more BFP very soon xxx

highlove · 16/01/2013 19:21

Wow Sunny that's awesome. Hope they are busy doing their thing in the lab as I type. Good luck for tomorrow and fertilisation results - I know stressful that is. Hope you're feeling ok physically and not too sore, either.

Weller glad to hear all going well with you. All important 12 week mark is nearly here!

Feeling a bit rubbish here. After it being my due date of the pregnancy I lost last week, my period decided to do a disappearing act. Finally turned up a week late today. And needless to say, i have spent all my time a lot of time over the last week absolutely convincing myself a miracle had occurred, despite the BFN. So tonight i decided to pick a fight with my DH, because obviously that will help A LOT.

vallinnapod · 16/01/2013 19:54

Awesome Sunny - 16 is a fab number. In fact I got 16 with my IVF that produced DS Grin

BadgerFace · 17/01/2013 06:11

Well done sunny fab start!

and good to hear from weller andbeginnings, so far through already!

Frosticle · 17/01/2013 17:56

Whoop, whoop sunny!! 16 eggs is a great haul!! Now Mr T will continue to work his magic!! Everything crossed for you but tbh, you have every reason to believe. Exciting stuff!! Grin

vallinnapod my lining took its time to get to the right thickness. They know what they're doing, it'll get there! Good luck!!

Hello to you all you lovely ladies!

x

viviennewestwould · 17/01/2013 18:03

Highlove, I have lots and lots of sympathy for you with the torturous late period. It really does take the flipping piss. My period was two days late last month and my temperatures were beautifully lofty, too. I seriously thought I was pregnant. Damn Clomid's luteal phase lengthening powers! Anyway, do you think maybe next time testing on the day AF is due? I do believe in putting ourselves out of our misery sooner rather than later. Hope you feel better soon and are making it up to your man Wink

Pocket1 · 17/01/2013 20:25

Ooooh it's all go on here.

Weller am so pleased all is well with you. Sounds like you've bad some reassuring scans - I bled at 9 weeks and had a scan at 9 and 10 weeks. All was okay. You'll breath a sigh of relief when you get the nod after our 12 week one. Not long to wait.

Sunny well done you. Put your feet up and try and relax for a couple of days.

Viv wow, impressed by your volunteering.

Ginger you go girl. Many girls get their bfp while they're waiting for treatment - you could be next!

Highglove hugs to you. We all get tetchy when things aren't going aren't going as planned. I'm sure DP will get over it.

Hey Mummy Badger how is motherhood?

Hello Frosticle how's things with you?

Yay Beginning 15 weeks!! Have you got a bit of a bump now?

I'm 16 weeks tomorrow - saw midwife today and heard the heartbeat again. Always reassuring - and I always cry!

Hello to anyone I've missed.

Keep warm and safe in the snow. And dont stop believing Grin

highlove · 17/01/2013 21:26

Thanks lovely ladies. Feeling a bit less sorry for myself today. Good timing in that I had an appointment with my counsellor today so feel knackered (always find it super tiring) but it's helped me get some perspective. So much so I'm actually not having a meltdown over another pregnancy announcement today, this time the lady I sit next to at work. Viv have indeed apologised to my poor long-suffering husband.

Pocket how wonderful hearing you baby's heartbeat, I'm not surprised it makes you cry. How lovely. Does it feel real yet?

Sunny any news? Hope you've for lots of beautiful embryos cooking away.

Vanilla lots of luck for tomorrow's scan, I hope your lining has come on lots.

Viv good news on the lap and dye. As you say, hopefully it won't show anything, but will give you one less thing to worry about.

Keep warm everyone.

Beginningofthejourney · 17/01/2013 21:30

Hi pocket yes I do have a bump, it seems quite big to me I would question if it was too much chocolate at Christmas but I haven't actually put on weight yet! :-) 12 week scan they said baby was perfect size for dates, have another scan at the end of the month so will see how big bubba is then! however am enjoying my maternity jeans, not sure I'm gonna want to give them up once bubba is here!
How is your bump? X

Frosticle · 17/01/2013 22:13

Beginning - I'll be shopping for some maternity jeans this weekend (although DP is on his way back from a business trip to the US and tells me he's bought me some. Worrying.) so if you've found some good ones, I would love to know which ones they are!

Pocket - it's so lovely to get the reassurance that everything is going fine and to hear the heartbeat pounding away at double quick time. I cry at everything at the moment.

I'm 14 weeks now and have a bump which is still easy to hide if I want to. It's not that noticeable in the morning but by evening looks quite huge (to me) and I'm sure is bigger than with DD (8 years ago). I'm still wearing my normal jeans and suit trousers but probably not for much longer. I have pretty much left telling people to my mum, who is having a ball telling all the relatives the good news, and my DD, who is loving telling all our friends.

Pocket1 · 18/01/2013 07:47

Anyone got snow yet? None in NW London yet...

Highglove I'd say it still feels a but surreal tbh... Not sure when it will feel real real!?!

Sunny what news from you and your gorgeous embies? Exciting Saturday or Monday ahead for you my love? How many will you go with do you think? I did one last year (bfp then mc), two with the summer FET (bfn) and two with the new donor fresh embies last October... I am just desperate to hear you announce your bfp! Smile

Frosticle I bought these jeans from topshop m.topshop.com/mt/www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=1&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=8914410&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208537&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=20&refinements=category~[209831|208537]

They won't do for long as we will all grow out if the tummy bit but they are sooooo comfortable. And I can see me wearing them way post baby! I think the hennes ones have a bigger stretchy bit that will grow with you - but I've yet to get any. Also topshop maternity leggings are fab - and now reduced to £7!!
m.topshop.com/mt/www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=1&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=3531481&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208537&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=20&refinements=category~[209832|208537]

I'm 16 weeks today and my bump is small so it could go unnoticed. But it is definitely there - DP, my mum and sister regularly pat and talk to bump. As do I.

Just want to say that although I've technically graduated this thread, it feels like home. Hope no one minds us coming on to chat about bumps. Besides that, I'm keen to hear your bfps Grin

DSB

Beginningofthejourney · 18/01/2013 08:25

frosticle I got jeans and leggings from peacocks, wouldn't have thought to look there but mum got me a few maternity tops there at Christmas, also found new look good although not all stores seem to do maternity.
No snow in the south east yet, I'm just about to drive an hour away from home so hope it stays away til I'm home!
pocket I found this thread more friendly that the due date one, although they are nice on there everyone here seems more caring? But would understand if bump talk is annoying?! X

monkeyisback · 18/01/2013 12:11

Hello everyone Smile

Firstly I have to apologise - I posted last November under the name monkeybumsmum after our third cycle of IVF had ended badly. I then deleted my MN account as I was so upset with life and just wanted to change something Blush Anyway, I didn't ever come back on to say thank you for the replies, so thank you to those of you who took the time to give me advice, it was appreciated, and we have now changed clinics, and have undergone immune testing. Just hope the next cycle has better news!

Anyway, I was going through my drawers and have found three unopened (single) boxes of Suprefact. Two expire in April this year, and one in February next year. Would anybody like them? I'm now classed as a low responder so won't be needing them anymore. I don't want anything for them, but didn't want to just throw them away. Let me know if somebody wants them Smile

It's lovely to read all the happy bfp and birth news on this thread Smile It makes you realise how amazing fertility treatments can be when they work! Congrats to all of you who are pregnant or who have just had beautiful babies!!

If it's okay I'd like to pop back now and then... I don't have much time in RL, but I will try! Happy New Year to all, hope it's a good one Smile

monkeyisback · 18/01/2013 12:13

PS I meant to say Pocket that your posts have made me Smile so much. I know some of what you've been through (not sure if you remember me from other threads) and your story shows there is hope. I'm so happy for you Grin

sunnyg · 18/01/2013 12:21

Vallinnapod good news my dear that your lining has continued to move in the right direction. I hope today's scan brings more good news.

weller 10 weeks already! I bet you can't wait for that 12 week mark, although it sounds like your two previous scans have been reassuring.

Vivienne I am too impressed with your volunteering which sounds very worthwhile. I am sure the lap and dye will show all is fine but it's good to hear your consultant is being proactive.

beginning 15 weeks! You are so close to pocket. It's going to be a busy time of annoucements when all of you ladies are due. Very exciting and I hope you continue to do well.

Pocket my friend 16 weeks is fabulous. I think I would cry at every HB scan as well.

highlove counselling must have been very emotional but already you sound better for it. And stronger. Will you have more?

*Frosticle - go those maternity jeans! they sound most comfy.

How are the new mummies badger and scrummy? Hands full no doubt. Hope you are both going well and bubs are good.

Little update from me. So out of our 16 eggs, 13 were mature and 11 fertilised. Day 2 today and we have 10/11 and all are at the correct stage I've just been told. Will be called tomorrow to find out if day 3 transfer or day 5 (Monday) or split! If we can I'll definitely go for putting 2 back. I think I already knew that after the last cycle. ARGC has no problems with putting 2 back so that's good to know. I am feeling okay, a little sore today but with the snow coming down here in NE London and my little pug sleeping in front of the radiator I have very few plans today so I can't complain and will take it very easy. Gosh I had forgotten how nerve wracking it is waiting for them to call each day! Deep breath!

Oh and personally our lovely pregnant ladies, I am more than happy to hear bump talk here. I find it keeps me going to know it DOES happen and we all know what you went through to get to this stage so in my opinion share away!

Hugs to all oxo

highlove · 18/01/2013 17:05

Fabulous Sunny 11 embryos is brilliant. Fingers crossed all continues to look excellent tomorrow. Take it easy for now.

highlove · 18/01/2013 17:08

Oh and I agree with Sunny it's reassuring to be reminded that it does sometimes work, even when it doesn't feel like that. As you say, don't stop believing.

Hoophopes · 18/01/2013 17:12

Congrats sunny on so many lovely embies - hope you get some to freeze too Smile

Hello Monkey - I remember you. I namchanged, was Keziahhopes. I still read and keep up with people's news here, after my ds was born!! Glad you have a positive new start with a new clinic - Immunes were the way to go for us too, so hope it helps you.

Lovely to hear of little bumps appearing!!

vallinnapod · 18/01/2013 19:51

Ohhhh congrats Sunny! Wishing you hatching like thoughts :)

Well my lining had improved by 0.1mm - so nothing really. I have been told to use patches now too. So get a script for them. Does any pharmacy in London/Surrey have them...nope so fingers cross they come in tomorrow. Even more annoying they prescribed patched they no longer make Angry How can they not know that?!

OP posts:
highlove · 18/01/2013 19:57

Oh Vanilla sorry it hadn't grown a bit more. And how annoying you're struggling to get the patches. But fingers crossed it does the trick.

I've been thinking about supplements. We both take his and hers conception vits and vitamin C. Have been reading about other stuff, including coenzyme Q10 apparently for egg quality and fertilisation.. Any thoughts please? Anyone take anything else interesting? Especially the graduates? Or is it all bollocks that takes advantage of desperate people? Thanks lively ladies.

highlove · 18/01/2013 19:58

I meant lovely of course. Though I'm sure you're all lively too.
