Month 6 of ttc, have a regular 27/28 cycle both with coil and since it has been removed. On day 28 and no af and no signs what so ever no cramp pmt etc! However poas this morning and again in desperation about and hour ago and both bfn!
Both previous pregs (one mc) conceived whilst by surprise whilst still on contraception so I thought actually trying would mean it was a piece of cake (sad)
Please help me stay sane whilst I wait for af and not spend £££ on bloody tests ( no more in the house).

Nothing of either! Going to test tomorrow if no AF. It's so odd I can't help
But be hopeful But in my heart of hearts I know I'm not pregnant. (please forgive the random capital letters - my phone has a mind of its own!) xx

That's how I felt though I didn't think I was preg at all, I'd come off my coil in august when i broke up with my partner of 5 years we got back together end of September after deciding we knew we cudnt split up, I'd been using fertility friend to work out my cycle as I was on no contraception I always ovulate on day 14, this month we only dtd unprotected on the night of cycle day 16 so I thought chances were so slim. But appears I ovulated later than usual. Honestly it can happen when you least expect it, me and my partner have 2 boys already and knew we wanted 1 more but I didn't think it would happen yet. I had symptoms but I also get same before af. Good luck hun :) how late are you now? Xx

Around 7th August I think you?

DH is really happy but I don't think it has sunk in (for either of us!!) yet!

Have never done this before so may well be asking you some ridiculous questions if you don't mind! Wink

When should I go and see the doctor? Xx

Clca 7th of Aug is mine too Haha around that anyway prob b dif on dating scan. These days docs don't even need to see you, ring up your gp and be asked to put on midwife books that's all they said to mw when I rang for an appointment with ds2, then they will ring you and book in your 1st visit :) I've not even rung them yet doing it tomorow still not sunk in I've done 7 tests in total now lol xxx

Saw the doc this afternoon (they said I should pop in as I haven't had blood pressure taken in years!!)
Been put on midwife books and was told the mw would call me to arrange an appointment and scan etc..... Any idea on how long it will be until she call?

I just want it to start feeling more real!! Blush x

Feeling a little queasy but nothing too bad, cant stop crying though! Seriously anything is setting me off, I cryed in b and q at the weekend because the Xmas tree we were getting was in the sale Blush that £15 made me shed a tear, dh VERY embaressed! Xx

Hahaha nothing wrong with being an emotional wreck... I am even when not preggo. Do not get me started on the John Lewis ad....!

Ive felt nauseous literally twice and have zero other symptoms. I'm sure in a few weeks time I'll be begging to feel like this but at the moment it just doesn't feel real!

I AM GOING TO HAVE A BABY!!! (nope.... Still weird!)

Any books you'd recommend Hun? I need something to make me feel like a mum to be seeing as so far I have nada since my bfp!

Bloody hell- how come you were so late finding out with your first?!

Do you by any chance know what happens. At the first mw appointment? Xx

No books really, I remember having a day by day one with pictures every day which I liked.
Have just ordered myself the mumsnet guide to pregnancy off eBay for £2 Grin

I don't remember much about the booking in app. (5.5yrs ago) mainly family And medical history I think.

Got to 18 weeks by combination off having no idea or tracking off my cycle, changing contraception (about the time I got up duffed) thinking that was making t go a bit haywire. An if I'm honest a good old dose of denial Blush. So it's all a bit new to me this bit. But it's soooo much nicer to be older and more confident and excited about it all rather than shit scared Sad

Also I figure Me and dh did a bloody good job with ds without having a scooby do what we were doing so we must be naturals Grin xx

It's so nice to be excited isn't it?! I have been around with an inane grin on my face since I found out!

I've had to become a recluse as as soon as I refuse a glass of wine ALL of my friends will automatically know!

How are you feeling? Any sickness?

Hurry up and get to 12 weeks please so I feel like I can relax that everything's ok! Xx

Trying not to think about it! Will be 13dpo on Friday and plan to use a clear blue digital (have a 2 pack as they were on offer...) so reckon it'll be pretty accurate.
If its a BFN at least I can enjoy the christmas booze!

Hope you're feeling well.
