I know, what is with the spots!! I'm hoping my facial on Saturday fixes things however I think I have to avoid vitamin A products which I'm a bit confused about!

Midwifes was on BBC 2 9pm on Tuesdays. I think it's finished now :(

Thank you Purple :-) I'm a little relieved

I hope my spots are for the same reason yours are, Peardrop :-) It's a bloody monster on my chin!

peardrop2 · 12/09/2012 20:25

Oh me too Nicola! I'm trying to remember if if spots the month before. Don't think I did. Will have to look at notes!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 20:34

This is my first month with spots :-/

HannahJayne · 12/09/2012 20:50

Please can someone talk some sense into me? AF left on 29/8 after the first post-implanon visit. I have no idea if this was a proper AF or not. We've DTD every other day pretty much since the implant came out in the middle of August. For the last week I've felt sick pretty much all day every day and had cramps (but could be ov cramps, although I've never, ever had ov pain before). Is it worth POAS? I keep hearing about people who managed to get pregnant as soon as their AF left...

HannahJayne · 12/09/2012 20:52

Spotty girls - let's hope it's another symptom! If not, and it's just a hormonal thing, I swear by the Liz Earle cleanse and polish - after two years with awful implant induced skin it was the only thing that sorted me out.

DulcetMoanslovesNectarine · 12/09/2012 20:54

Well we like it when people POAS anyway! However, by those timings today would be exactly 14 days after AF ended? It is unlikely I think but not impossible. Cramps etc can be ov related, even if you not had it before. You will notice it more anyway as you are paying so much attention to your cycle. If in doubt though, POAS!

HannahJayne · 12/09/2012 20:56

That was enough sense-talking to make me wait until the 20th - thank you!!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 20:57

Ooh, thanks for that Hannah :-) Spots, burping and farting...I'm delightful tonight!

I'd say it is more likely to be OV than BFP. But you never know!

GeordieCherry · 12/09/2012 21:03

Microdermabrasion for the skin issues ladies. I wish I'd discovered them years ago.

Pear glad you're ok. It's nearly the weekend thankfully so get some more rest

The last ep of Midwives felt like a last one cos it was when people were taking babies home... I'll check iPlayer tomorrow

Absolutely pooped after my day with challenging young people. N'night all Smile

DulcetMoanslovesNectarine · 12/09/2012 21:31

I can tell you are thinking of testing in the morning nic, resist! (That is me projecting my feelings onto you!)

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 21:33

I'll try...see how it goes. I don't really have time, so shouldn't try to squeeze it in!

peardrop2 · 12/09/2012 21:48

Nic I'm going to try and be supportive. I'm not going to egg you on even though I really want to :-)

Just booked another dr appointment for tomorrow. Tonight I'm having signs of creeping cystitus. Never got a proper explanation about the trace of blood in my urine yesterday so I'm going to ask for another urine test to be sure!

OP posts:
kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 21:51

I don't need any egging on! :-)

I hope your doctor can give you more answers tomorrow. I'm seeing my GP on Saturday for my TTC chat.

What should I mention / ask about do you think?

peardrop2 · 12/09/2012 21:57

You need your dates in front of you. It's good to compare cycle lengths, ovulation and lutual lengths. I would suggest you ask for a 21 day blood test to put your mind at rest on the ov front and get you on the examination stage while you're still TTC if you know what I mean! I'd list all the side effects you've had in this cycle at different stages.

DulcetMoanslovesNectarine · 12/09/2012 21:57

Tell her about us and all the great advice we give! Ok, maybe that won't help. What is your big question? I guess is there a reason you aren't pregnant yet. I would tell her about the trial, shows you are timing it right and getting help where you can.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 23:39

Shit...I know my OV pain was over the weekend last cycle. But which weekend? I'm going to have to hunt back through the last thread! Thank god for this place :-)

Thanks for the tips, ladies. At least by the time I've had 6 cycles, 3 of them will be charted thoroughly with the CB trial.

My left ovary is throbbing. So painful :-(

Wonder what causes that?!

peardrop2 · 13/09/2012 05:38

Morning ladies! 15DPO and I've just had what looks like implantation bleeding. Two small dark spots of blood with a bit of EWCM when I wiped. Trying not to freak out I am freaking out inside DH has just told me to stop worrying and go back to bed...easy for him to say!! Why are my boobs not sore? No nipple change or fire burning pain that I was expecting and where is the itchiness that my mum told me I would get? :-/

Nicola happy hunting :) hope u find it quickly!!

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 13/09/2012 06:05

Nicola you know my thoughts on OV pain but let me remind you...I still love Amy's site!!

Q. Explain ovarian pain for ovulation or even after ovulation?

A. When a woman has ovulation pains a week prior to ovulation or even a few days before ovulation, this is from her follicles swelling, they will and can be on both sides, as both follicles will swell at a race to release the mature egg. Ovulation pains can also be after ovulation, this is from, after the egg is released from the follicle, fluid is also released with it, the fluid can cause irritation to the endometrium lining, which causes cramping. This does not hinder implantation at all. This can also last the duration of the luteal phase.

The last line would apply to you Nicola? To anyone else wondering what site I'm yapping on about here is the link again: www.amandabears.com/faq.html

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 13/09/2012 06:33

Everyone is different, Peardrop, so don't compare your pregnancy to those of others :-) And a little bleeding is normal.

Thanks for the link...very interesting and useful.

Found the date. Insomnia last night. Had 3 hours' sleep. Thinking about the wedding plus just lying there. :-/ BFN today!

peardrop2 · 13/09/2012 06:39

Oh pants :-( What day Wouk AF be due if she turns up? Or is it too tricky to tell?

OP posts:
kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 13/09/2012 07:04

Based on previous cycles, any day from yesterday to Tuesday next week. Based on OV and my luteal phase on my 26 and 28 day cycles, I'd say tomorrow or Sat.

Not quite an exact science.

Got bonus DTD at 1am today though! :-) Didn't help me sleep though.

letskiwithisthing · 13/09/2012 07:16
