Hello again. Guess what? I'm tucked up in bed in my own home :) just got back and I'm about to go for hopefully a long deserved and quiet sleep! So the gynae doctor finally came to discharge me. Swabs still aren't back however bloods have shown that pregnancy is progressing and she says there are no bad signs at present and nothing to show ectopic. She thinks all the pains I'm getting are bad growing pains plus constipation. She's ordered that I now take parecetomal to settle things down (apparently safest pregnancy drug according to her). So I'm to sleep land now. Chat later xx

Night night, sleep tight. Great news

cwtching · 12/09/2012 13:16

That's great news Pear! Have a lovely sleep!

PinkLady my last cycle was 23 days too ... rubbish. Fingers Crossed this one's a bit longer (I'm normally 25 -28 days). I read somewhere that cutting out caffeine can shorten the luteal phase. There is probably nothing in this but I was on a no caffeine rule last month so I'm back on it again this month (all be it in moderation!), tea with a bit of omph tastes so much nicer too!

Tal I've added you:

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 12/09/2012 13:34

Just logged in quick to see how u were doing Pear!!
Glad u are home & resting, stay in there little bean!!!

Geordie, I don't know if I said congratulations!!! My appologies if I didn't. Beans on toast sounds like a fab way to celebrate!!

How's everyone else doing 2day? I'm feeling really positive today, the weekend was a pretty low point, bfn was expected but still a kick in the teeth, but I now feel better again!!

DulcetMoanslovesNectarine · 12/09/2012 15:35

Excellent news pear, hope it helps to reassure you. Sleep will help you feel much better!

Nothing to report here. Twitches and pains which I think are AF related but she's not here.

Thundercatsarego · 12/09/2012 15:37

Good news pear! Really glad you're home safe and sound!

Am fed up this afternoon. Just feel knackered and bored of 2ww. Stomach ache not helping situation. Humph.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 16:24

Excellent news Peardrop :-) xx

Dulcet...we match. :-/

DulcetMoanslovesNectarine · 12/09/2012 16:29

Is it blue or pink pg tests we don't like? I can't remember!!

peardrop2 · 12/09/2012 17:14

Hi ladies, managed to get 4hrs undisturbed kip. Bliss!! Thanks for your support. Feeling bruised and a bit shell shocked from that 24hr experience! Feel a bit like WTF just happened!?! One of the ladies shouted good luck to me as I left the ward. Felt a bit embarrassed because I had several public crying sessions in the night when I felt v alone and v scared. I heard her tell the doctor she was diagnosed with PCOS but now has two healthy children. I was wondering if some of you with lots of pains and aches could ask your doctor if it's safe to take paracetomol? I didn't realise how much it would help. Wish id taken it earlier myself! Obviously check with your doctor first but it might help with the 2ww? Anyway, I have the rest of the week off and I'm booked to see my original TTC doctor on Friday. She will deffinately say WTF just happened when I tell her :)

Hope everyone else is doing ok? Xx

Hope everyone else is good!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 17:45

Hey there Peardrop...I think that's all 9 months' worth of drama in 24 hours.

It's blue we don't like Dulcet. Why?! You got a line?!

DulcetMoanslovesNectarine · 12/09/2012 17:48

Haha. No, don't get excited. Just wondered cos I used one of the cb ones this morning and noticed they were blue. First time I used a blue one.

peardrop2 · 12/09/2012 17:48

Oh Nicola do you think :) I really hope so!! I need the 8.5 months to forget how bad the NHS is!!!

OP posts:
kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 17:53

Ah, I'm still on my cheapies...got all my blue ones to use when I am up duffed to confirm! Or when I run out of cheapies. Have to try not to POAS tomorrow. :-)

I think you must be due an uneventful pregnancy after this last 6 months, Peardrop :+)

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 17:56

I think I'm allergic to progesterone...been dizzy on and off today :-/

Still got some CM too.

To be honest, if I get a normal length luteal phase this month I'll be pleased. My turn must come soon though! :-)

DulcetMoanslovesNectarine · 12/09/2012 18:49

Well I had 6 of the cb ones so just used that. We have to be strong and hold off until the weekend! Just went for a run so that should get her to hurry up if she's coming.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 18:59

It should do, yes. :-/

I felt damp knickers on the walk back from the railway station...more CM! Was worried there.

I have no patience though re testing! You'd think I'd have learned my lesson after last month.

The problem is, as I don't know when I'm late, due to erratic cycles, I don't know when is best!

peardrop2 · 12/09/2012 19:03

How many DPO Nic and Dulcet?

What happened to Midwifes last night? Has the series ended already? ;(

OP posts:
DulcetMoanslovesNectarine · 12/09/2012 19:35

I am 11dpo judged by smiley date. CD27 of normal 26-28 day cycle. Thats another reason not got much hope, I am at about the right time to get a correct result.

I haven't seen any of that midwifes since the first episode. It must clash with something as its just the sort of thing I would usually watch.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 19:50

10DPO for me...ends almost bang on midnight! :-)

My cycles have been 28, 26 and 32 days since coming off the pill. My app says my average is 29. I'm on CD27. I've no clue what to expect next!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 19:51

I have a MAHOOSIVE spot coming on my chin...I think I'm growing a new face! :-/

DulcetMoanslovesNectarine · 12/09/2012 20:01

Well thats not the way we want to grow new life nic!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 12/09/2012 20:04

Ha ha, no it's not! Only come up during today. Oddness. My chin doesn't normally get spots, now that's two in the last week.

purplefairies · 12/09/2012 20:05

Yay, so happy for Pear. Glad the drama is over!
