My DH came back from work in the afternoon looking really tired. I said I have a present to cheer you up. At first he said he didn't want a present but I made him close his eyes and then I put the cb stick in his hand for him to read. Once it registeted what the stick said he then looked a bit pale hah hah! He is still in shock. We just saw a very pregnant lady in Homebase and he went a bit pale again...hah hah. Men are so funny!

I have a bit of a stupid question
A while ago I heard somewhere that having a wee after sex helps u avoid getting pg.
What I want to know is- has anyone ever heard this? And if that's the case how long do I need to wait until I can have a wee?
Today I stayed in bed for just over an hour, about 20 mins of that with legs up. Was bursting for a pee and just been so under 2 hours.
Also did opk now and the line is there. Could the result be masked by (ahem) sperm in my wee?

I don't think it can affect the result as the test looks for a chemical, not sperm. I can't say for sure but I don't think it should be a factor.

Lol...I think you're probably safe after 2 hours as the ones which are going to make it are already well on the way to target!

Also, sperm won't mask the LH hormone as they aren't made up of the necessary stuff. :-)

Just ordered bubbles for our guests instead of confetti, and little personalised tags to attach to them. Good job I finish the Tuesday before. And have an Aussie house guest with me to assist with filling the favours and tying tags to things! I am SO bloody excited now!

Nic, they had bubbles at the wedding yesterday. They were lush & the children loved them

We don't have many kids...plenty of adults who'll approve though :-)

Our DJ lets us and guests go online to choose songs. It's rather good!

We are putting blank CDs on the evening tables for guests to burn their photos to. There's an address label inside the post-friendly cardboard holder for ease. Just needs a stamp. Not bothering with disposable cameras as most people have digital ones anyway.

Lol I don't know if the doctor will scan me now. I am thinking of going anyway as I would like to talk to her about the cramping even though I'm being assured by Mclairey that it's normal which helps!

I'd still go if I were you...you can get some reassurance. Can always say you only found out that morning so you didn't like to cancel at short notice. But now you've found out, you're worried about the cramping, which you had thought / hoped was AF until you POAS!

Yay! All the fruit! Changing it back if it doesn't work though. (haha, if it doesn't work! What world am I living in?! This isn't how babies are made!)

Pear I don't want to scare u sweetie but cramping is not always ok. I had it and thought this is what being pg feels like and was later told by the doctor that I should have gone to them earlier. I don't think in my case it would have made a difference and I don't for one minute think the same will happen to you but get it checked.
I even dreamt about u last night ( funny cause I don't know what u look like!) as I'm worried and want u and your baby to be ok. Might be slight over reaction on my part but I know all the shit u went through want to know u both ok x
