How are you feeling Peardrop? I could be imagining it but keep feeling a nugging pain on one side of my lower abdomen.

Yeah, I'm not sure when to judge dpo anymore. Just count from smiley I guess but that might explain why some people don't get any lines until after 14dpo - might not actually be 14days after the egg was fertilised!

Yay Pear so excited for you! As Mclairey says get ready for bone crushing tiredness and feeling hungover every single morning. The anxiety is something crazy too!

Yes I have been keeping an eye on you guys! Been reading the antenatal board for April. Haven't posted yet as waiting for 12weeks. 8w4d today, had two scans so far, one at 5w5d because of cramping and bleeding (checking it wasn't ectopic, saw a heartbeat!) and one privately yesterday. Pleased to say all is well with a strong heartbeat. Chances are 98% positive now.

Peardrop, I think that website is using the maximum time from smiley to OV. It's apparently the next 24 - 36 hours you can ovulate. But...just because you caught the surfer, doesn't mean you caught the start of it as you're likely to only test once every 24 hours.

I KNOW when I OV'd as I felt it happen, so I know that today is 7dpo! I suppose I'd have taken Monday as OV making Tuesday 1DPO if I hadn't felt it! Though it was almost midnight, so I am working on actual calendar days for me!

Well yes Dulcet because If I couldn't smiley as DPO1 then I would have got my BFP on DPO12 so I think what I read makes sense kind of.

Pumy I don't want sympathy from anyone but u feel terrible. I've been up most the night with horrendous stomach cramps. If I managed to get 20mins shut eye they're so bad they would wake me up. Didn't quite expect it to start off this way :-/

Yeah Nicola even better if you can feel it! I don't think I had any OV pains this time. Only things in my diary around smiley face time was wet cm, bright orange calypo pee, and a bit burpy.

Oh no, Peardrop, you must be exhausted and scared. Can you still see your doctor on Tuesday, or do you need to book another appt? Is DH being supportive?

I got orange wee the day before the surge. Strange, isn't it? Distinct lack of CM prior though!

I do feel exhausted and scared Nicola as ridicoulous as it sounds because I should be over the moon I know and i really dont want to come across selfish on this thread!! I did another cb test at 4am cos I was freaking out. DH thinks I'm worrying too much, which I am. It's just the pain is a bit of a shock. It's probably the same pain as bad AF cramps but because I didn't get those for 14ys plus months it's a bit of a slap in the face!

It's natural to worry. And if he was in your position, your DH would be concerned too!

At least I'm used to AF pain then! Weird how we don't consider what happens when we are pregnant beforehand though, isn't it?

Thank you I was expecting tingly boobs and throwing up...not horrendous cramping :-) hey ho can't complain! I will ask If I can still see the GP on Tues even though she's not my doctor. If I wanted to see my doctor I'd have to wait until Friday as she's a part timer.

Agree - all the websites say different things, I've given up reading them!!!

Got a bfn this morning, which was expected, but at least I know now for sure.

So I'm on day 5 of this cycle, fx for this time!!

Pear i had the same. They saw a large cyst on my ovary that was formed when the egg was released. Apparently it is to provide baby with nutrients until cord comes through. It is more painful then AF cramps. Don't have them as much now.

So good to see you lovely pg ladies come back and visit too. At least us that get our BFP a bit later will be better prepared as you are letting us know what really happens!

Pear if I were you I think I'd ask for the scan anyway. They might be willing to do it and see a flicker of something! That would reassure u more.
I would def go if u are cramping. It may be nothing but it may also be a sign of something wrong so I'd get it checked out tbh. How exciting!

I've had dull but pretty much constant cramping for the last 5 days on the left side so who knows what it means. I'll book an appointment with the doctor tomorrow and hopefully everything is ok but even if it isn't, the test says we conceived and that means our ovaries are working and our DP's swimmers are swimming and that alone is something to celebrate!

Hi Nic! Yes very relieved! I can start to feel a little more confident now! I've put on half a stone already! So bloated and sore boobs. Gone from 36b to 40b. Cups will increase when milk is in. I was a small b before. Definitely a large b now!

Got a long way to go I know but it`ll soon come round. Just like your wedding!

How did DH react then newly pregnant ladies? Was there tears or shock??

well,
When i showed DP the faint line on Thursday, He said it was too faint to know for certain so he decided not to put his hopes up until Friday morning when i got a darker line. I think he is still in shock coz he still says he will only believe it once we get the confirmation from the Doctor. Ahhhhh.
To be honest I still cant believe it either.
