maybe pregnant might test today.

I'm not ttc although have been having unprotected sex with boyf, af now one day late. don't think we did it day 14 but I'm not sure when I ovulate.

last week i had strange stomach pain and a bit of nausea and I don't normally get stomach pain before af so two days before i was due af i did a boots preg test and it was clearly bfn.

I feel like i'm going to come on in fact sorry tmi but keep checking cuz feel wet lot of cm.

also I have been extremly emotional hysterical in fact! feel very vunverable things are stressful for me at the mo but am reacting v. hormonally.

sorrry am going on a bit but shall i test today? and has anyone else had these sympoms and turn out to be preg? would the boots one have picked it up it did say test from day of missed af but i was too eager to know.

me23 i know how you feel i have done 2 tests both bfn and now on cd 54 of a usual 35 day cycle, me and dh have been ttc for over 2 years and this is really doing my head in

Hi liandme, cd 54! you must be so confused, when did you last test? have you been to the doctor?
I day 37 now did a clearblue digital test this morning and 'not pregnant' so I'm stumped. I don't even feel like I'm about to come on anymore. I keep reading how people haven't got a bfp till few weeks after af due, but surely it can't be that commom can it? I thought the amount of hcg? doubles every couple days and is high in early pregnancy.
I'm just waiting for af to arrive now, if she ever does.
I've got one test left but I'll leave it a while I think.

liandme--- We are the same,we have been ttc for 2 years and Im now on cd 53.I tested last week but it was bfn and waiting for hpt to arrive through mail to test again.
I have only had occassional af type cramps and thats it,none of the other usual symptoms I would get.

Sorry you didn't get a BFP me23 I was really hoping for you.

If it's unusual for you to have such a long cycle I'd be tempted to go to the docs. I've regularly had 60 day+ cycles before because I have PCOS but if this is unusual for you it might be best to get it checked out.

The drama is still going on. still no af, day 40 now, yesterday felt nauseous and was a bit sick and the same this morning, have bit of headache too. I've got one pregnancy test left, I'm thinking as I'm feeling quite sick now if there is enough hormome it would show up by now wouldn;t it? The feeling i had two weeks ago when it felt like i had come on etc.. is gone.
don't know how long to wait to test again.

if you were PG you would normally expect it to show up on a test once you were a week late with your period, so I would just test again now. There's a lot of tummy bugs etc going round atm so you might be feeling nauseous due to that rather than PG. If you still are in any doubt, go to GP and ask them to do a blood test, as that will definitively confirm whether you are PG or not.

me23, hope that you are feeling ok xoxox maybe a trip to the docs would be a good idea...i have completely missed out a period before now (which i did mention briefly further down the page) and when i went to the docs to ask him about it (as was getting bfn's all the time) he said that sometimes women do just miss a period and next cycle, af was there again and has been ever since (that was ages and ages ago now mind). HTH, i know its not always nice to hear that it may not be a pregnancy, and i am hoping for you that it is (as i know you wanted it to be) but i thought i should say about my experience with a similar thing to let you know about another possibility... take care and keep us all updated with how your getting on xoxoxoxo

You do sound pregnant to be honest, and there have been strange cases that I have read about on mn where people haven't tested positive for weeks and having a healthy baby there that was all the right size and all. I remember Colditz having a saga on the ttc boards when she was 19 days late and still getting negative results.
Personally, if I were in your situation, I would do the test tomorrow morning and if it is negative go to the doctor to ask what can be done next - either a blood test or a scan, maybe? They may want to check that it is not ectopic as I think I remember that ectopic preganancies don't release much hormone, (but to be honest I don't know much about ectopics so I might be talking rubbish and I don't want to worry you unnecessarily.)
That's what I would do, even though my doctor is usually useless.

hi thanks for all the advice, well this morning did the other digital test and bfn but i ejected the cartridge by mistake before the result came up which it said not to do, so now I think it might be all wrong aghhh. I've bought a boots own test but Im going to wait till weds or thurs. Then I will make appointment with doctor for a blood test.
these smytoms and no af is so annoying I should be getting bfp I feel like i'm pregnant. I'm even crying to adverts etc..

just updating, did boots test yesterday afternoon was bfn. I lloked a few hours later and there is a vertical line it is thin and blue and clearly visable. is that what an evaporation line looks like? it didnt happen before with the other boots test and any of the tests i have used.
It's looking increasingly likely that a blood test might be in order.
should I buy one more test? I should take out shares

I think you should go to the docs too.

Don't want to confuse you or get your hopes up. But when I went back to check on my First Response test, 24 hours later it had the feintest of lines. I put this down to an evaporation line at the time but who knows!

Hi well af finally arrived on wednesday! two weeks late. v.strange for me has never happened before I'd convinced myself I was pregnant. It is for the best though it isn't the best time to be pregnant with regards to my 'relationship' to say the least.
