I'm not ttc although have been having unprotected sex with boyf, af now one day late. don't think we did it day 14 but I'm not sure when I ovulate.

last week i had strange stomach pain and a bit of nausea and I don't normally get stomach pain before af so two days before i was due af i did a boots preg test and it was clearly bfn.

I feel like i'm going to come on in fact sorry tmi but keep checking cuz feel wet lot of cm.

also I have been extremly emotional hysterical in fact! feel very vunverable things are stressful for me at the mo but am reacting v. hormonally.

sorrry am going on a bit but shall i test today? and has anyone else had these sympoms and turn out to be preg? would the boots one have picked it up it did say test from day of missed af but i was too eager to know.

me23 did you tests again after??

decafgirl - when you first come off the pill it does take a little while for periods to settle down. try another tests in a few days or so...when i first came off the pill and i was getting back into a normal cycle, i missed out a period completely!! (gp said is could very well have been stress) but after that they started to settle down. HTH :)

hi wuzzlefraggle, I havent done another test yet think I'll wait till sun or monday if af hasn't arrived. It's silly how i'm starting to feel pregnant now for e.g just went shopping and bought some orange juice and i never normally drink it but im 'craving' it now. Grin
how's your pregnancy coming along? do you have any morning/evening sickness?

i have all bloddy day sickness lol. not very fun at the moment, but i'll survive Grin

so have u put any moer thought into the result your hoping for? are things getting any less stressful for you now? (if u dont mind me asking)

aww poor you, with dd v ery on i had some sickness only lasted 2 weeks though hope your sickness goes soon. my main prob in pregnancy was bloody heartburn all day and night. I was swigging from large bottles of gaviscon on prescription luckily otherwise would have cost a fortune lol.

even though things are make or break with my boyf, I have found myself wanting to be pregnant (i know not the best time) which is probably the reason I've done so many tests.

ouchm heartburn isnt nice at all. only 2 weeks of sickness...lucky bugger lol. ive had that much already, and then some Grin

well you never know, if you are pg, then it might bring you and your bf closer again (if thats what you want) i realy do hope that it all works out for you. does he know that you might be??

He knows I might be he said at first it not best time. Then when I told him it was neg yesterday he was saying oh no in a jokey kind of way I not sure part of me thinks he would be quite pleased if it was bfp. (sorry it's all a bit confusing! I hope we can sort things out I love him loads!)

im sure that you'll work things out. every1 has their ups and their downs. and no worries, i know what u meant :) Ebay do cheapy tests if u dont want to spend loads on the shop bought ones, ive used them and they are pretty good.

23rd of October, so still a little way to go yet. thought i had the answers to everything before we caught, but now...i aint got a clue lol. i'll all fall into line and start making sense son, im sure of it (sorry, not I'm the one being confusing lol)

hi sorry didnt reply sooner, I do hope things will be sorted out time will tell.
I bet october seems so far away! I was counting down the weeks when I was pregnant waiting for the milestones, scans midwife appointments movement etc... especially in the early weeks I get wanting things to hurry up and my bump to appear lol.
I bought a pregnancy book called 'the best friends guide to pregnancy' by vicki iovine, don't know if you have it, but I found it quite funny and a light relief from all the medical textbook style books on pregnancy.
I do wish I had internet when I was preg mumsnet would have been great to go on.

yeah, MN has been great. And must admit...i count off everyday and cant wait for the 1st scan. I'll feel much better being able to see that everythings as it should be.

hi I'm ok keep thinking that I've come on. but nothing there. seeing boyf today and he has a week off next week so hopefully get to spend time with him. Have a good weekend I won't be on here over weekend but will let you know what happens with af.

Still no sign of af keep feeling on and off that it will come, but no!
I last tested on thursday Don't know when to test again, do people get negatives if they test early then get positive a few days later?

wizzlefraggle-how are you? I havent been feeling sick, but getting a few aches in abdomen which I dont normally get before af, been feeling quite teary!
omg just had a wave of nausea lol prob psychosymatic.
I will give it a few more days I think, and if af doent arrive when I test I will use morning wee.

clearblue are a pretty good test to use, but if u dont want to spent loads on one of those, ebay do tests too and they are really cheep

Think I will wait until weds or thurs, then I'll buy another test.
I've been feeling pretty exhausted lately, last night feel asleep early. And come out in spots on my face could be due to af or stress, but before af I normally only get one spot not an outbreak!

well these do sound like symptoms to me... im tired all the time, broke out in spots, feeling ill and dizzy all the time, so u never know..you might be. its a really frustrating thing not to know isnt it

hi, I went bed at 10 last night needed to get a good sleep dd been waking early last few days but this morning she woke at 7 Smile she let mummy have a rest!
I woke to go we at 5am tho and had an acidy sick feeling like heartburn.
feeling nauseaus sp? now but dont feel like actually vomitting iyswim? Decided to wait till thursday to test so will be a week since last test. Don't want to waste money testing too early =even though I really want to know.

ok so I couldnt wait till thursday and did another test and bfn, I don't understand it, I can't be pregnant can I? surely it would show 6 days after Im due af.
I'm really confused now, and worried that I'm ill or something is wrong Sad

me21 given the simptoms you've been experiencing I would say it's probably unlikely that you're pg as the simptoms are there as a result of the hormones and therefore if the hormone levels are strong enough to cause simptoms they would be strong enough to cause a positive pregnancy test.

Try not to worry, sometimes periods can be late for all sorts of reasons, most of which are stress related.

There are conditions though that can cause periods to stop. 12 years ago I had an overactive thyroid. I wasn't aware that I had the condition until my periods stopped out of nowhere. Went to GP and he told me I must pe pregnant. I casually informed him that I was a virgin and that unless he believed in imaculate conception I was 100% sure that was not the case. It took 3 months to get to the bottom of it as I had no other simptoms, but eventually they diagnosed me with an overactive thyroid. Even with medication, it took a further 6 months before my periods returned. This is a worse case senario though so please don't be alarmed by this, but if you're really worried then it might be worth going to see your GP.

Couldn't help myself, got the CB digital out of the cupboard and ... it's come back positive!!!

don't worry bobbywoo congratulations! thanks for the advice wannabe1974, I've just convinced myself I must be pregnant although now i know it's highly unlikely.
I will wait a week then if af hasnt arrived do another test then if neg go to the docs.

dunno if you read the phantom preg thread but bobbywoo tested neg 3 times i think then tested today with digital and got a bfp! so you never know I could still be, but i'm probably not.
