Aiming for August 2012 BFP!!

Hi ladies,

For those of us out of the July game there are not many places to hide so I thought I'd start a new August thread to give us all some positive vibes!

Cycle 3 - BFP August 6th

...another question... I'm so used to getting rid of his 'stuff' straight away but I would guess I should try and hang on to it? How long for? How am I supposed to do that? I must sound like such a numpty but it's all so new to me and don;t want to ask friends and that just puts pressure on us.

CD 28 here. Another BFN this morning ( I know I know I wasn't supposed to test until Friday...). Cycles are usually 31/32 days.

Have been looking back and think I Ovd around CD20. DTD on CD19 and CD21 but not sure it was enough. Will really have to get cracking next cycle if AF rears ugly head. DP is pleased to hear this...:)

Symptoms over this way include:

-knackered (but nothing unusual here)
-nipples still look a bit darker (probably imagination)
-shooting pains in boobs
-pulling pain in top of thighs

• feeling quite nauseaous if I don't eat (as I said before - been fooled by this one in the past though)

33andttc I just stay laying down for a while. I sometimes put a pillow underneath me to raise my hips a bit. I've read on here that some people but their legs up in the air and the feet pressed against a wall if that makes sense.

Your symptoms still sound promising worriedmum what brand of pg test have you been using?

you name it I've used it..... FR, CB Digital, normal CB and Boots own.

I don't feel confident really. It's weird isn't it that you somehow think you're going to the one in a million person to test + at only 7 or 8 dpo!

With my mc before I conceived DS I got a BFP on day 32 so I don't know why I am so totally incapable of waiting until then!

worriedmum I'm exactly the same - I'm rubbish at waiting. Or at least I am since mc.

I found for me that CB Digital were the most sensitive. But it seems to be different for different people. A few people on here have said that they find super drug the most sensitive...

I think I'll be 10dpo next Sunday so I will probably end up testing then! I have got some very very very cheap tests from the internet so may end up testing with them before that.

If I'm not pg this month then cheap tests from Amazon seems to be the way to go - I am spending a fortune!!!

33andttc, I got pregnant the 1st time with dd ( who is now 1) after coming off of cerazatte. This most recent mc - cerazatte was not involved. When I fell pg with dd we decided to start ttc quite spontaneously so I stopped the pill mid cycle ( I was still kind of having periods). I think I got af after a few weeks, dont know if it was a real af, then we fell pregnant that next cycle.

Yes I always "prop up" with a pillow after dtd, don't know if that helps or not!

It's 11dpo from when I think I ov'd. I'm a poas addict so have done 2 already. Obviously bfn. Going to try to hold out now till Friday. Have a number of "symptoms" but that may just be wishful thinking :)

i have everything crossed for you jessie i really really hope you get a bfp.

When I tested the month I was pg, I didn't get a bfp until the day af was due.

I don't know if you've seen my other posts but I think I'm due to ov any time now (def in next couple of days) according to ov sticks and signs etc so am really hoping that I am lucky.

cd28 today and af due today (im guessing as cycle was 28 last month, but 40 the month before - 1st one since stopping the pill) No sign of her yet but tested this morning and BFN :(

It isn't actually over 'til af comes though. Here's hoping you're pg, but if not then I hope af comes soon so that you can get on with the next cycle

Looking at your last post though your cycle might be longer than 28 days so you might not be ready to test yet. Fx for you

Been keeping busy with work and life so haven't been on much.

Monitor has gone back to low today but we're going to keep DTD. Currently on CD17 and have so far DTD CD9, 12, 14, 15.

No wonder I'm confused: monitor said I ov'd on Cd14 or 15, IPeriod says CD20 and Period Tracker says CD24!

Ok, i have a few questions i need answers for... DH and i are actively ttc, i am supposed to ovulate this week but after poas i still dont have a double line. Is that normal? Also, after DH puts his swimmers in, i have legs in the air for 30mins and i lie still for another hour but wen i get up i still drip............. someone, anybody pls help cos i am going crazy.

Hello goingbananas I like your name! I also panic that no matter how long I wave legs in air some swimmers almost always leak. I've read numerous articles and everyone of them says this is normal. I guess what goes up must come down! They say the fighters swim to the cervix straight away so I think we're safe!

Oh and you're probably not ovulating when you think you're?! How long have you been trying for? And which sticks are you using?

Been trying for 4months now, as for knowing when i ov, i have an app that monitors and some calender on the internet. I use internet cheapies, i cant afford to use CB since i test twice a day after CD10.

I just cant get the hang of CM and bbt . My cycle moved from 28days to 31days and my GP says i should ovulate on CD17 but i should add 2 extra days..... I am hoping and praying hard for a BFP.........

Charting temps is tricky because you have do it the same time everyday which means no lie ins on the weekend. I use CB OV sticks and the CBFM (even though I'm not meant to because AF hasn't arrive post pill). I should be going into cycle 4 now but it's been 97 days since coming off the pill and I still haven't had a period

Here is me hoping i get lucky BFP and not need to buy the CB...

Is that normal? i mean not having AF.... wishing you AF as you desire and you can also have mine (if u dont mind)....

It's possible, I might have post-pill amenorrhea, going to GP on Friday to investigate . Sorry don't know about your cycle length. There are loads of apps and fertility friend.com should be able to give you a better idea to help you work it out.
