nothing really, STILL have work to do for school so mostly that tomorrow.(serves me right for being a lazy cow)
I been helping to organse this conference so part of the day will be spent moving the 14 boxes of publicity leaflets into my car.
I might nip into town tomorrow I bought a new phone, a bargain (seimens poppy one)but it can't be unlocked so will return it and it would be rude not to have a quick look round the shops!

Let's hope lots of us do join you soon.
:)

jabberwocky · 08/04/2006 17:28

Thanks, coggy. I think I saw you on a conception thread recently talking about taking a trip to relax? (I hope that's right)

Hopecat · 08/04/2006 18:01

Peachy: hopefully we'll both get PG this month and be queuing next to each other in Mothercare without even knowing it!

Rude question: how old are you? I'm 30.

peachygirl · 08/04/2006 18:21

I'm 32 Dh a little younger (31)
Have you put your stats on the stats thread - look downthe threads a bit you will see it

OP posts:
Hopecat · 08/04/2006 18:37

Have now. What a good idea.

Was worried that everyone was 21 except me.

peachygirl · 08/04/2006 18:39

no, we have a variety of ages and women trying for 1st - 4th babies so experienced and newbies.
How long have you been trying?

OP posts:
Hopecat · 08/04/2006 18:55

Well, it's sort of complicated.

Don't know if you've seen my introduction, but HB has rare medical condition that means he's completely azoospermic.

He started treatment in January 2005, so I suppose we've been hoping since then.

However we've been told that we're now in with a good chance, so March was the first month it really felt real.

So 1 month or a year and a quarter depending which way you look at it.

peachygirl · 08/04/2006 19:11

oh Yeah I saw that. My DH has a condition (Crohns disease) where if it's really bad he has to take steroids which make him infertile, luckly he's been really well and hasn't had them for a while but if he complains of a poorly tummy I do get concerned.More often or not it's beacause he is eating rubbish!

OP posts:
Hopecat · 08/04/2006 19:49

They don't always help themselves, do they?

DH was drinking a bit too much (as he gave up special baccy when we decided to TTC), and probably didn't help matters.

He's stopped now though so he's getting thinner as well as more fertile. Grin

suwoo · 10/04/2006 12:58

Hi all, I haven't posted on here this last cycle as felt it was stressing me out more. I am 11 DPO and 2 days before AF and have just had a BFP on a clearblue digital!!!!!! I felt really funny yesterday and did a couple of test strips which all had faint lines. I did a first response this morning with FMU, and there was a faint but very visible line within 3 minutes. I have just done the clearblue now, with 3rd wee of the day and came up pregnant straight away, even though advises not to use til day AF is due!! Is this definate then??

wuzzlefraggle · 10/04/2006 13:04

OMG!!! suwoo, congrats!!!!!!!!!!! yep, a positive is a positive!!! Grin

good luck all the other ladies ttc xxox

suwoo · 10/04/2006 13:18

Hi Wuzzle, I think it was your baby dust and your ov sticks that did the trick!! So thank you xxx

Hopecat · 10/04/2006 13:24

Congratulations Suwoo! I saw your post on Pregnancy thread as well.

That's brilliant news! Gives us all hope.Grin

You're so lucky getting an early reading like that. Must be good strong Pregnancy! Or twins...

suwoo · 10/04/2006 13:30

Ha, joked with my friend about twins, my DH is one!!
I really chilled out this month and stopped drinking (well nearly) as I normally drink a lot!!
Thanks for your good wishes.

Hopecat · 10/04/2006 13:45

I've found cutting out the booze the hardest bit.

I am though - pretty much.

I had about 6 units this weekend (amazing for me), and I won't drink anything now 'til Friday night. Next weekend is official BD time, so I won't have much then either.

Worth it if it works - and I've lost a bit of weight because of it too.

suwoo · 10/04/2006 13:50

Hopecat, I normally drink about 3/4 bottles of wine a week, and a few vodkas too. I didn't have any at all from AF ending until fertile time over. Had a bit, from then til now, but made a significant difference. It was worth it in hindsight!!

Hopecat · 10/04/2006 16:19

Did that last month too. After the first few days of gritting my teeth I found I didn't really miss it, which was unexpected.

It was much easier than giving up the fags, which I did two and a half years ago. That was Sheer Bl**dy hell.

Roll on BFP, I say.

gemmaseascout · 10/04/2006 16:28

Hi ladies
Had a lovely week off!!!
Went to doctors two fridays ago (wasnt the same one as before) so he didnt know what was going on. Seeing the right doctor wednesday Smile
BUT .......................................
Started bleeding and all symptoms went two fridays ago (just before going to see GP) typical and then last friday had very heavy bleed with af pains. So think af has come back Grin never thought I wud be soooooo happy Grin

coggy · 10/04/2006 19:52

Swuoo - that's fantastic news...well done!!

I know what you both mean about the dreaded drink!
I was really good to begin with, organic food as well but it took so long ttc that I am back with all the bad habits again..mind you, my aunt, an ex-midwife gave me this advice..
...."After trying for a long time - drink loads, start smoking again and have LOADS of sex!"

Not sure that that is medically sound (!) and I was quite embarassed but we did fall pg a few months after!!! Blush

Now trying again.....................
