Hopecat have you tried reflexology i swear thats what worked for me,only had 3 visits one time i went was just b4 ovulation and she stimulated my ovaries, and hey presto it happened.Iwish you the very best of luck,do you think you could have had a chemical pg?I had 2 of those and its very upsetting especially as you feel different and get all excited ((hugs))

trace2 · 06/04/2006 10:26

hopecat, dont take that unless you see gp, i have a clotting problem, i had a pe a few years back, nerly died, my gp gives me a specile asprin, when i travel get pg and so on, but it can be very dangerus if you can on your own

Hopecat · 06/04/2006 10:58

Morning!

Jen & Debbsy: I definitely think it was a MC. Body felt very different from about Day 17-18. Had 'hope symptoms' before, but this was completely different. Also, AF is much blobbier than usual (sorry if TMI). Was this what you experienced Debbsy?

It is sad, but I hadn't got to the stage of really believing I was finally going to be a Mum, so I'm ok.

Also, if it was a MC it means we can at least do the first bit, which is good news.Smile

Trace: I won't take the aspirin if you really think it's a bad idea. Can 75mcg a day really hurt you?

Sorry to hear about your dreadful experience. Is it under control now?

Jenswish · 06/04/2006 11:04

HC - were you late?

trace2 · 06/04/2006 11:20

yes it can, also it too can make yoy miscarry, see your gp and explain, i have to have bloods done every two months for this.

and i am so sorry if you have m\c, but again see your gp

Hopecat yes unfortuneatly it was and very painful af so sorry hun xx

wannaBe1974 · 06/04/2006 12:16

Hi all :)

HC so sorry to hear about AF. I had a similar experience in January, when my AF didn't arrive until CD32. I had all pg simptoms, not like some months where have sore boobs etc but had the lot, sore boobs, cramps a few days before, nausia. The pg tests I did were bfn, but when AF arrived it was very very different from my usual AF, very painful, and I lost some clots which is very unusual for me. I actually do think that I'd had a m/c then, but feel that as the tests were bfn, there's no real way of knowing, and therefore I can't dwell on the fact I might have had a m/c because I easily might not have if that makes sense? Wish you all the luck re conception next month :)

trace2 · 06/04/2006 12:29

hi wanabe

Hopecat · 06/04/2006 13:41

I wasn't late, but I'm sure that's what it was. Had every symptom under the sun, and could feel it there.

Googled Chemical Pregnancies and read in several places that MC can happen anytime virtually from conception i.e. poss on Day 18 onwards. Also 50-60% pregnancies end this way.

Anyway, as I said, it really has made me feel better, as I now know we can conceive. My Mum miscarried a couple of months before she got pregnant with me, and my best friend went through the same thing before both her pregnancies. WE CAN DO THIS THING!

Once again, many thanks for all the support.

HopingCat · 06/04/2006 16:59

HopeCat - we have scarily similar names!

Just wanted to say that I had very similar experience in January. I never decided if it was mc, but I'd never had an af like it before, and I had pg like symptoms up until af appeared a day early. The month after this happened I conceived and everything is still fine. So here's hoping that the same thing happens for you this month Smile

Hopecat · 06/04/2006 17:16

Thanks Hopingcat: that's a lovely message.

Saw you when I was lurking around the pregnancy threads, and for a moment thought I must have been posting in my sleep.

Really hope I can join you there soon!

NatalieJane · 06/04/2006 19:25

Wow, haven't been on here for while, just wanted to say welcome and good luck to all the newbies (so many of you!) Let's hope it isn't too long a stay on the TTC boards :)

K1K2 · 07/04/2006 10:12

Hi All

HC Sorry to hear to hear about your AF. I too went throught the exact same thing as Wannabe and HC no. 2 ( good luck with it this time!)in January. Felt very soon after possible conception date, lots of dyspepsia and that watering feeling you get before feeling sick ( yet did not get to the sick stage), then I came on on CD24 -way before my AF due day. It was as you described, b4, very heavy, "fleshy" ( sorry if TMI). I think it was as a conception that didn't implant, if that's a very early mc that then that's what it was then... SkerriesMum I am so sorry that you got your AF- I know exactly what you are going through, I'm going through it now... I am now passed my AF due date and its so hard not to get excited, or want to go for the testing kit. I do have the same sypmtoms again as I had b4, so it makes it even harder to ignore, and I am eating a lot more as I get hungry more often. I didn't have the sore boobs and cramps- though I have been taking agnus castus for a month and apparently this stops these symptoms so may be it was down to that... Anyway I am going to hold out testing till Sunday when it will be cd30- Im usually somwhere between 25-27 on my cycle. What do people think?? Oh BTW, Hi Trace , thanks for your nice words - I don't think I know you as I don't know anyone with older children and a young one too.. I'll have to go - don't usually post during the day -too much to do. I've got to take DS to his first dental appointment!! Good luck to all those testing this weekend. Lets all hope we have something to celebrate! Grinxxx

Jenswish · 07/04/2006 10:19

hi again K1K2.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for this month. :) Good luck

trace2 · 07/04/2006 10:22

K1K2, stop taking angus catus, after ovulation, its can cause m\c, so if your taking it please stop.in case you are pg, (which i hope you are) i hope you see this soon, to stop taking it.

peachygirl · 07/04/2006 10:24

trace I was just thinking about posting the exact same piece of advice! Great minds think alike Grin

Hopecat · 07/04/2006 11:44

Morning everyone.

Good luck K1K2! Fingers crossed...Grin

I'm having a really rotten AF. Keep telling myself I've got to stop feeling so pathetic and get back in shape for the next go.

Maybe I'll make some health-giving soup.

laughalot · 07/04/2006 18:25

coggy · 07/04/2006 22:20

K1K2 - can I ask why you are taking agnus castus?
Just being nosey really but I started it this month to lengthen my luteal phase but when I used opk it showed that I didn't ov. first time in seven or so months - could be coincedence but I know that it can be dodgy.....so be careful.

K1K2 · 07/04/2006 22:42

Thanks to all for the supportive words and advice. I did in fact stop taking AC a few days ago because I read on another thread to stop taking it after ov and I wondered why -(I was actually going to ask on that thread) now I know... Thanks so much girls. Amyjo22 -you are on the same cd as me, how's it going?? Hopecat, how are you feeling better now and what was in your soup? Probably asleep - as I should be now... Here's to a really positive weekend nite nite x

Piffle · 08/04/2006 11:06

I'll be cd 26 tomorrow - my cycle anywhere from 27-32 days so we'll see, not testing til 33 days that for sure :)
I never even got + test on af due dtae with either kids so know not to test early... easier said than done though!

peachygirl · 08/04/2006 13:01

Hi just dropping in, on CD day 16 which is usually prime time for me, but it might have happen earlier. Hopecat where near the big smoke are you? I think I'm in a similar area to you.

Piffle - we are on the same cd. my cycles are about 30 - 34. DO you think you may be pregnant? I was confused about my ovulation this month and only managed to bd on day 12,14, 16,20 - so wishful thinkning for me - or maybe we got lucky!
