Wiggy29 · 06/05/2012 08:29

Oh my goodness!many congratulations! What a lucky thread this is turning into.x

SilentMammoth · 06/05/2012 08:56

so so pleased foir you baba! big congratulations to you both!!!

blackcatsdancing · 06/05/2012 09:23

congrats baba what lovely news!!

i have internet and phone again- realise i was rather stressy yesterday but we'd been told BT would charge £120 if they came and no one was in or if they came and there wasn't actually a fault. Thankfully all was well- someone was in and the line was badly corroded.

well I have some EWCM, amazing, vitamin B6 is the wonder pill! I'll see what happens tomorrow, bit odd as am CD11 but will go with it for now.

good luck to all the testers soon to test.

Wiggy29 · 06/05/2012 09:40

Well, I needn't have worried so much about the hen party last night, the poor hen was poorly so I only had 3 drinks&was home by 11! She seems to have passed her bug on to others as they're I'll this morning but I seem to have escaped it. Next Monday still seems forever away!

ps- lime, this is just cycle 2 for me not 3 (not that it makes much difference).x

LimeLeafLizard · 06/05/2012 09:48

Sorry I will try to remember to correct next time Wiggy. Hope you don't get the sick bug!

Hooray for baba, well done! Yes hope it continues to be a lucky thread...!

Crazytictac · 06/05/2012 11:25

babbacongratulations!! :o. Really pleased for you. Has it sunk in yet?

Your poor friend wiggy, is there time any time to rearrange another one?

I've not been on here much as have caught DS illness. Feeling more human like today but got peak reading today on fertility monitor, typical! Last thing I feel like doing and can't say I look my most attractive either. Inspired by this thread though so might try it Wink

MummyNickleby · 06/05/2012 14:22

Baba congratulations Grin well done Grin
Lime don't worry about leaving me off, I've been very inactive in all ways Blush
Boobs are a fair bit painful (but not as bad as with DS) again today. DH gave me a hug and I yelped in discomfort..
Really don't expect to be pg though, it'll be a miracle!
I'm going away on Tues so I'll see if AF arrives while I'm away... Got a cracking headache though Sad
Oh I hate waiting...

LimeLeafLizard · 06/05/2012 14:33

Crazy go for it. DS2 was conceived in cycle 13 just as DH and I recovered from a sick bug! If you've both had the bug you'll both be in the same state!

Thanks MummyNick. Hope your headache and sore boobs lead to something positive. When is your AF due? I might be testing Tues if she doesn't show before then. Are you off anywhere nice?

Treats in case you can log on from wherever you are, I'm thinking of you. X

OP posts:
MummyNickleby · 06/05/2012 17:28

Nowhere nice.. Bristol for a course. Away Tues - Fri (don't normally work Fridays)
It'll be nice to get 3 full nights sleep, but will be up at 6:30 due to hotel's distance from site Sad
Also, if AF arrives I won't be able to take advantage of the pool Sad

EmpireBiscuit · 06/05/2012 17:32
  • congrats on the BF(ish)P! I can't imagine how excited you must feel!

Fingers crossed the sleigh gets jam packed this month.

babaloulou · 06/05/2012 18:30

We're pleased and feel we're a step closer but we've been here 4 times before so will feel anxious everyday. Until that baby is in our arms not sure we'll relax or believe it.

Look forward to the next week hopefully two more bfp and more carrots for our reindeer xx

asianbabe · 06/05/2012 21:54

Another bfp congracts buba Grin

SilentMammoth · 06/05/2012 22:28

Lime are you going to test tomorrow?

SpringFlowers · 07/05/2012 08:14

Wow this is a lucky thread! Congratulations Baba! You must be delighted. I'm looking forward to lots more BFP's...

I'm only on day 24 (10dpo) but had pinky mucas last night. It could be implantation bleeding but I suspect its the start of an early period. I just don't feel like this has been the month at all. I've been pregnant four times before and have never had implatation symptoms, I can't think why another time it would be different.

Lime - fx af stays away, of course tomorrow is Tuesday (all muddled with long weekend!).

MummyN - I hope you enjoy Bristol, in the past I've spent quite a bit of time there and found it to be lovely. Of course if af doesn't arrive you'll be able to swim and celebrate!

Hope everyone enjoys the bank holiday!

babaloulou · 07/05/2012 08:22

spring i've also had many pregnancies and never had spotting before a bfp but this time i did so don't lose hope just yet. Sending baby dust your way x

SpringFlowers · 07/05/2012 08:43

Thanks Baba, I just don't feel anything though. What was your spotting like and when did you have it?

babaloulou · 07/05/2012 08:46

spring it was a brown wipe one evening followed by pinkish mucus the next day to nothing the next. Kept thinking the witch was on her way and told dh so. Think he was getting quite confused.
Ps only symptoms so far heart pulpitations and dizziness.

babaloulou · 07/05/2012 08:47

Oh dpo 10 to 12

SpringFlowers · 07/05/2012 08:57

That is exactly the same as me. I hate it that pregnancy symptoms are the same as pre-menstral symptoms.

blackcatsdancing · 07/05/2012 09:43

ditto pregnancy symptoms being the same as PM symptoms sucks.

when are you testing limeleaf ? good luck

I've been ovulating rather late- around day 17 so wasn't going to do an OPK yesterday as it was only CD11 , however something compelled me to and i got a dark line really quickly, so a positive. Seduced DP into bed and it was all rather romantic. Temp up today. I'm slightly gobsmacked at my body this month. Shall watch signs next couple of days and that will confirm if i'm already in 2 WW. Doubt we will BD again today though you never know but might manage again tomorrow.

Does anyone know if you ovulate the day your temp goes up or if that signifies you've already ovulated?? I'm curious about the first day you see a temperature rise.

Flightty · 07/05/2012 09:58

Spring, I don't think I felt pregnant the last two times I was...the spotting sounds hopeful, fingers crossed for you pet Smile

Blackcats, it's supposed to go up the day after, because of t he release of progesterone which happens after the egg is released.

I think.

I've actually modified my FF to CD11 though the temp that day was steeply higher than CD10...weird...but I did take it a bit later so it's unreliable.

FF said CD13 but that Clearblue I did yesterday said 2-3 weeks which puts it at CD11 or 10, and CD11 I got my first OPK positive so can't have been CD10!

I hope that helps slightly...probably not Grin

Baba I envy you your dizziness...I am feeling so sick sometimes. It's horrible. Worth it, but horrible!

Hope everyone is Ok today xx

Flightty · 07/05/2012 10:00

here it is]]

LimeLeafLizard · 07/05/2012 10:04

Morning all,

blackcats my understanding is that you ovulate the day before your temp goes up. It is the breaking of the sac around the egg that triggers the progesterone hike. I ovulated early this month, too, very similar story to yours and also got a high temp the following morning. Hope it does the job for you!

Over here I'm at the end of the 2ww and feeling quite down. My temp was much lower this morning - still above the coverline but well below the heights of progesterone hill where it has been coasting for the last few days. I think AF will be here promptly tomorrow morning. The low temp usually comes the day before, almost as if she is 'phoning to remind me to collect her from the station stupid old biddy.

OP posts:
Flightty · 07/05/2012 10:14

Oh Lime I hope not. I know that feeling, last time my temp went down ON the day, which was like, Oh, thanks Smile

If you look at my chart you'll see how low mine was this cycle the day I got a positive though. And by my reckoning it was 11 DPO. So you never know.

I think it must have been implantation. I hope your AF stays well away.

Come to think of it I remember buying a new packet of pads a few weeks ago, which I never normally remember to do and have to dig around in drawers looking for spares...I thought at the time, wouldn't it be ironic if I don't get to use these for another year.

I recommend that strategy Grin
