ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Happy BD to all! (((hugs))) xxx

Wannabe - I think you're just having your normal bleed but its not dislodging the pg, if that makes sense. Alot of people bleed constantly through they're pg. Test now if its positive go straight down the docs. I mean it

trace2 · 15/02/2006 09:09

wanbe, just relax and wait and see ,i know its hard but it could or coundnt be an inplantation, but the more you worry the worse you feel,
i hope it is an implantion

wannaBe1974 · 16/02/2006 08:24

Hiya all hope you're all ok.

I did a test last night, it was BFN, so at least I know now . Now all I want to know is where the hell bloody AF is and why I'm having these strange simptoms. Still have very sore boobs, especially nipple area is extremely sensative. Am going to make GP appointment for next week, maybe she can shed some light on what might be up. Am really kinda still resigned to fact I'm not going to be able too have another baby, maybe will feel better once AF arrives, if it arrives.

OP posts:
trace2 · 16/02/2006 08:31

oh wanabe, so sorry, wish i could help you, but if af is not here theres stil chance

trace2 · 16/02/2006 08:34

how later are you, could it be that theres not enough pg hormoans in your wee

mumswish · 16/02/2006 08:36

wannabe I'm sorry to hear this. as trace says tho could it be that theres not enough hormones yet?

wannaBe1974 · 16/02/2006 08:45

Well AF was due on Tuesday, on a 28 day cycle, so 2 days late by now. If no AF by this time next week then maybe will test again. I've been late before and wondered if just not enough hormone, only for AF to arrive later, but this time the sore boobs are overwhelming and it really does have me confused. Guess only time will tell

trace2 · 16/02/2006 08:49

wanbe, i understand, but test in a few daysagain, which tests you using?

wannaBe1974 · 16/02/2006 08:57

This time it was a boots own

OP posts:
trace2 · 16/02/2006 08:58

they are usally prety good, but like i said wait a few days

chapsmum · 16/02/2006 09:07

wannabe, I dont want to get your hopes up but I had exactly the same symptoms as you, I tested and it was negatie, I tested again and it was posative. Like you say, wait a week and test again. If its still negative and no af see your gp.
Have a serum hcg done, (in ectopric preg HCG levels rise more slowely) so have a blood test to make absolutely sure.
Then ask you gp for 21 day progeserone level to check your ovulating.

Mean time your hubby should be cutting out alcohol especially red wine and caffine, wear lose fitting cotton pants or boxers, and perhaps be investing in a seat cover for the carseat...
He should consider taking a vitamin supliment with thamine and b12 (or take a vitamin suliment and have marmite on toast every day) and cut down on dairy
Am sorry to hear about your bfn, will be keeping everything crossed that you gaet you positive and get it soon.

Loads of love to you wannabe...(((((((((hugs)))))))))

wuzzlefraggle · 17/02/2006 09:33

wannaBe, im realy sorry to hear about the bfn, but as trace and chaps say... try again in a few days...(((hugs))))

Congratulataions Wuzzle!! That's fab news.

I have been really busy lately and it looks like I've missed loads . Definitely not pg- af arrived on dd 32 but I knew i wasn't despite all the symptoms. Average af atm seems to be 32-35 days- when't most fertile time for me? I've bought ovulations tests but can't be bothered with them yet.

Hope everybody else is OK. We're still in the almost denial mode of thinking it'd be nice to have another but let nature take it's course so not actively 'trying' but not being 'careful' either! We're moving next month and have loads on in the next few months so I guess we'll know when the time is right. Still wish nature would take the decision out of our hands and I was pg tho lol!

mumswish · 17/02/2006 13:34

hayls, I'm sorry to hear about af

You're fertile days are normally 14 days before AF so erm.... 32-14 = erm.... (sorry crap at maths, let me get my calc.... yeh) around CD18 but I'm not positive on that one.
