ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Happy BD to all! (((hugs))) xxx

Thanks! It's exciting isn't it? (New house!)

wannaBe1974 · 10/02/2006 15:54

Hi all, not bee around much recently - DS has been ill and been sick nearly every night. Last night he spent the night with me - I reminded DH that this is how it will be if we have a baby - up every night .. DH said he does realize that.

On CD 24 today, TBH haven't really thought at all about being pg this month. I think I got so worked up to it last month, convinced myself that I was, and then when I wasn't it was a major disappointment. This month I've had other things to think about so haven't been looking out for simptoms etc, although boobs still sore, that could just be a sign of AF though.

Trace am glad for you that your AF has arrived, well sorry because you're not pg, but glad that it has at least arrived so it takes the constant thought of it out of your mind.

Hope everyone else is well

Hi all,
Gemma I think you have made the right decision. Cori on the January thread said that we should be enjoying the chance to have lots of sex without contraception as we spend so much of our time trying NOT to get pregnant. Do stay on the thread. I think it's great thats its so busy
Mumswish Good luck with the house.
Trace, Good to see you, Sorry about AF but at least you can look forward now.
Wannabe Hope your DS is getting better I guessed something might be up with him yesterday
Half term has begun for me! WOO HOO
I might try to post a bit in the day time get to know some of you a bit better
love to all

pussycatmomma · 11/02/2006 16:03

Hiya all....just thought id drop in for half an hour and see if anyone was around. Looks like its been pretty quiet here today, everyone too busy with real life i guess! Had a dull but oddly satisfying day, cleaning, laundry, changing beds, ironing etc. Dh been out in afternoon, my mum been round for a little visit, spent time chatting and drinking tea....sounds boring but am happiest just doing my own thing
Just to add a note for gemma, I do completely understand your recent posts re. not "officially" trying any more.....I think we all go through similar feelings of telling ourselves that we do not want it as much, it is not so desperatly important, that we dont mind if we dont get pg this month. I do it to myself, in my case i think i am kidding myself, but some months you just have to do it to try and take the pressure off, and i dont think thats a bad thing. One thing about this thread is however you are feeling about ttc, someone , somewhere will empathise with how you feel, and has probably had similiar if not the same, feelings themselves.
(((((((((((((hugs))))))))))to all, trying or not trying, and Good luck and babydust to all who feels in need.......
Mumswish and Skerriesmum, is it you two who are moving house soon, or have just signed for a house? Sorry find it hard to keep up, forgive me i am old pusscat now! Good luck with everything....
For anyone who may be due to test, i hope you all get the results you want, share them with us all asap....... x x x x x x

wuzzlefraggle · 11/02/2006 16:08

Hello ladies.

hi pussycat, glad that you are feeling better now
jkust letting all you ladies know that i will be testing soonish...cd27 here (im usually about a 32 ish day girl)

babydust to all!! xoxoxo

skerriesmum · 11/02/2006 16:25

Hi all, pussycat just to answer your question yes mumswish and I are both moving house soon! I am on day 28 or 29 now, so finding it hard not to get excited, but then again last month af came around 31, so I'm just waiting till Valentines Day!
Must go now and have some lunch.

pussycatmomma · 11/02/2006 16:36

hi wuzz, hi skerries.......wow how exciting for you both!!! we need a few bfps round here to keep us all going dont we, and looks like you two might be the first to be able to supply it this month!!!! any signs or sympoms?????????? Im only on day 7, bit of bd this morning but from my recent cycles i think i have deduced that i ov around day 14, so we normally try and bd every day or every couple of days from 8 onwards....have to really try hard this month to do it lots even when nowhere near ov just so dh does not feel like a mighty sperm doner instead of adored husband alot of bloody effort though i can tell you..........
At least this part of the cycle can be quite hopeful, i hate the time after ov most, when you are just WAITING.........so fraught, and you kind of know in your heart if you have really gone for it or not. Tis the worst feeling thinging you just havent done it on the right days, and af arrival just seems so inevitable. Funny though, we did it so much at the right times last month both me and dh were a bit sick of it, but still no bfp!! grrr! Good luck for when you do test the pair of you, what a fab valentines gift that would be eh!

skerriesmum · 11/02/2006 17:04

Hi again!
I'm tired, but that's also due to ds still not sleeping the full night in his own bed... headache could be from that as well. I also had a slight bleed the other day, not even enough to stain pants, just a bit on tissue, so I thought it might be implantation, but then who knows! I had no symptoms with my first...
This is a tough wait for me, I so thought we'd done everything right. Oh well just have to give it time!

wuzzlefraggle · 11/02/2006 18:42

yeah it would be a brilliant valentines day pressie!! lol
as far as getting symptoms go, i dont know really...my boobs are a little sore and im knackered...but so many pg symptoms are similar to af, i try not to think about it too much (fat chance!!)
Skerries, hopefully it was implantation!!
PCM, i totally agree...this part of the cycle is by far the worst! and those few minutes that your waiting to look at the pg test are even worse again!
We need some bfps!!! fingers crossed for the whole lots of us xoxoxox

trace2 · 11/02/2006 19:08

hi ladies someone heres selling a persona for £16

wannaBe1974 · 11/02/2006 20:03

hiya all just popping in for a bit.

Wuzzle and skerriesmum valentines is good to test hope you get your BFP's.

I'm on CD 25, so on normal 28 cycle (which I do have generally but for exceptions past couple of month) would be due on on valentines day. Not going to test then though - my birthday is on Friday so will hopefully hold out till then.

boobs are getting increasingly more painful and have strange pain on left side of abdoment - not bad just niggling pain. Trying not to read into anything though - was reading the post about people having signs straight away, and wondering how many people had signs and were convinced they were pg and actually weren't. Sometimes I think that we can let optimism overtake realism. not that it's a bad thing to be optimistic, but I've heard so many people say that they know they are pregnant, and then when AF arrives their world comes crashing down that much harder than if they just were hoping to be pregnant - am I making sense?

Anyway, happy BD to all who are BD

xxxx

wuzzlefraggle · 12/02/2006 12:05

hello ladies. just wishing every1 loads of babydust and happy bding!!

wannabe - fingers crossed that you get your bfp too, and i know what you mean about optimism ruling over realism...i managed to convinse myself i was pg about 2 months ago as af was 2 weeks late, and i was crushed when she arrived. so yes you were making sense lol.

i think this thread is deffinatly needing some bfps this month

xoxoxox
