ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Happy BD to all! (((hugs))) xxx

Hi trace how was your night out?

lucy5 · 05/02/2006 10:07

To add insult to injury, i've just got an email from my friend and she's preggers! I am really pleased for her but it made me a little bit sad as it would have been lovely if we could have been at the same time.

peachygirl · 05/02/2006 10:13

Really sorry Lucy, Sorry about Af and about your friend. Don't feel bad that you feel this way lots of people on this thread have experiencd this recently. This seems to be part of the whole TTC process.
strangely though I don't know anyone (in RL) who is pregnant at the moment.

Hello... anyone around?

peachygirl · 05/02/2006 13:26

I am, it's been a bit quiet today

NatalieJane · 05/02/2006 13:27

Hi Peacy

Just read down the thread congrats on the official go ahead!!

Do you have anything planned for today?

NatalieJane · 05/02/2006 13:28

Ooops Peachy even...!

peachygirl · 05/02/2006 13:38

Not really Have done most of my work and have some ironing to get on with later, I have to shamefully admit that I spent all of yesterday in my PJs and now at 1:30 pm I am still wearing them (a clean Pair) am really enjoying doing nothing, just mooching around at home. How about you?

NatalieJane · 05/02/2006 13:41

My DH is on call and has just gone out to a job so our plans of keeping DS busy while we got on with some very intense BDing have gone out the window!!

So now I will probably just start to prepare the roast dinner and open a bottle of red.

Have you got any children?

peachygirl · 05/02/2006 13:42

No not yet,
Teach year 1 with SEN though so am quite aware of what I am letting myself in for

NatalieJane · 05/02/2006 13:50

Are you already finding yourself thinking about names and looking at things to buy?

peachygirl · 05/02/2006 14:19

Hi sorry Dh came in and needed to use the computer.
I have been looking at things, especially stuff like buggies, want to get perfect one would like on that caneb usd foem birth, be rear facing and doesn't cost the earth. Starting to think this doesn't exsisit although I am very much counting my chickens.
We do discuss names but no big faves as yet.

NatalieJane · 05/02/2006 14:38

I know what you mean. Have you had a look on eBay? There are loads of brand new buggies for sale, some of them are a fraction of the price you would pay in a shop!

peachygirl · 05/02/2006 14:46

no I haven't just looking at websites. I used to work with physically disable chilrn too and that taught me to look for easy collapsing buggies, so that would be a consideration. Don't you have lots left over from DD? will you have to get a double or will she be old enough to walk?

NatalieJane · 05/02/2006 15:01

No DS is 4 next month, I was thinking the other day what we have left and mainly all we have is his cot, buggy and clothes, the rest we have sold/given away. His buggy was an awful contraption that I wouldn't wish on anyone(!!!) so we will deffo get a new buggy, and obviously all of the clothes are boys clothes so won't be too bad if we have another boy but if we have a girl then most of the clothes will be a waste! Besides I don't mind using the very odd thing that my DS used but I know I don't want to use all of DS's things for 2 reasons 1 being that they will be two different people and so will like different things, and 2 because the things we have belong to DS just like the things we buy for the baby will be his or her things, I don't want to mix them up.

Anyway, I am going to have to go now DH won't be much longer and I will have to start dinner. Nice talking to you, TC xxx
