ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

will it matter if I havent had a period? I have come off depo in oct and had a bleed in dec but no ovulation afterwards. So dont know any dates etc.

yes the book says if am up early, to do in a pot and test later is that right?

Its a machine thta analyses you wee to say when your fertile days are (it is intended to be a contraceptive but seems to work just as well as a conception device) The website is quite good It has a funny flash plugin thing about a 'month in the life of a persona user'

This thread is getting way too long now - I seldom post during the day as don't really get that much time but generally I think some use the thread to while away the boring work hours lol.

Gemma you need to have a regular cycle, have a look at the website. hva you sought any extra advice about coming off the depo , your local family planning clinic might help - hello mama was on our january thread she is a sexual heath nurse she might have advice for you you could put a call out for her on the antenatel threads.
Trace you can dip the sticks I think you have to leave it in longer I point and wee myself (TMI) but there was quite a bit of discussion about which method to use on the persona thread. you can overwet the stick, might be worth a look on the thread

gonna talk to my friend who is an embiologist (baby maker) but might try hello mama! I know I dont hate my big sis. Just emotions are up the wall at the moment. Didnt want kids ever and now cant do enough to get them! Got the job sorted, money sorted, talked to hubby and its what he wants just cant get bloody pg! Feel like a faliure!

Which is a good thing. As for me ive no signs of af, but no feelings of pg either, i really dont think i am. i have a 2pk clearblue in a drawer, im willing myself not to use them because i know its a bit futile. We bd from about day 5 up until about 18 nearly every other day or so.

Gemma know how you feel - my sister is expecting her second as well now. and what mmakes me so mad is that she spends virtually no time with the child she does have. he spends 5 days a week at nursery, full-time, and at least one day a weekend with my mother because she "needs a rest", and yet she just seems to look at her DH and she's bloody pregnant again whereas I gave up my job, stayed at home to bring up my DS in way I think is best for him, and I can't get pregnant so it would seem.

Not a go at working mums btw, just at my sister cause she's so bloody selfish and still always gets what she wants.

no one on here is a failure, you will have the baby you are meant to have, and just think that when your sister's baby has gone through all the lovely newborn baby stages then you will still have yours to look forward to. And she will go through terrible 2's before you and then you can learn from her experience and do it all better than her!

btw peachy, just gone to that persona link you made......it makes no mention of using it to help with ttc? do they intend the machine to be used this way too? like in the instruction stuff does it help you to know "when" etc, cause it actually looks a bit complicated, without having to "reverse" everything in your head if you know what i mean

God I am crying again!!! My emotions are here, there and evrywhere!! My sister is the same doesn't look after the son she has. My mum has him fridays and saturdays, her husbands mum tuesdays and wednesdays and she still moans and say things like " i had him all thursday night" like it isnt a common experiance. Mum isnt looking forward to having her two!! I want to work but only part time!
