ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Can I join too? I?m new to mn, and new to this whole thing really. Is anyone else in my position ? no children, only TTC since the new year, no idea what to expect when it comes to being pg, and not really sure what it is best to do when TTC. There are so many myths around that I don't know what to think. Anyone got any great tips?

Have just found your stats so here's mine. I'm 26, dh is 26, this is our second month trying, and its cd4 so am still reeling a bit from getting first negative test last week. I had convinced myself I was pg, although why I thought it would work first time I don't know.

Thanks for advice Nellie! We did bd a lot last month, but am now wondering if it was too much? Are we supposed to have days off to 'regroup'?

i convince myself that i am pg every single month...it'll happen tho and as i said, the people on here are great, so if u want a rant, or just a chat, feel free
im gonna make myself wait to see if af is late before i test...do u or do u just test anyway?

ummm, i dunno if its gospel or anything, but i think that every other day is sufficient..gives the little swimmers time to gather themsleves i think dont quote me tho

I should have waited until af was late, but I was so convinced I had all sorts of symptoms that I tested anyway. Am going to try very hard this month to wait longer.

do either of you use ovulation sticks?

I've been using Persona for ages so generally know when is the best time to bd, except that as soon as we started ttc the ov sign disappeared for 2 months! Hopefully this month it will be back, otherwise it will have to be lots of bd like last month.

that is lucky ive not used them yet...havnt quite made up my mind if i will or not...loads of people seem to be reccomending the ones off ebay.
