What a day for mumsnet to be down! How did you get on Oliveoil?

M2T · 12/11/2003 14:45

I was getting mild cramp pains yesterday afternoon. Could these be ovulation pains? I am on day 12 of my cycle.

If they are ovulation pains when is the best time to BD??? Before, during, or a day or 2 after the pains?

...just curious for next month.

M2T · 12/11/2003 14:46

Oh bum I have to go out now and am going straight to the theatre tonight so will have to wait till midnight to find out. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Boo to mumsnet for being down all day.

M2T · 12/11/2003 14:55

Thanks Dino - In that case if I BD tonight then it might still work!

NO NO NO NO NO M2T! Think of the morning sickness over xmas last time! THINK THINK THINK!

It's handy to know though that I ovulate on day 11/12. I always thought it was day 14 on an average 28 day cycle. I'm a 30 day cycle.... so thought I'd be day 15 or 16. Ho hum. Good job I'm getting my homework done!

Good luck Dino.

MUM2ELA - It could mean you are pregnant???

M2T · 12/11/2003 15:47

Thanks Quackers - AND PLEASE DO A TEST??

MUM2ELA · 12/11/2003 15:49

M"T - did a test 2 weeks ago and negative. Would like to be but rekon not. Anyway, wanting nice new Diesel jeans for Xmas so would like to get a couple of months wear out of them before getting fat

oliveoil · 12/11/2003 15:51

How dare mumsnet be down? AND it has come back on just as I am due to go home!

Quickly. Did a test last night and a very very faint line appeared and then vanished after a couple of mins . Dh reckoned he couldn't see anything and that it was wishful thinking . Am going to try again in the morning as it says on the pack that hormones are higher then (?).

However have been having crampy period type pains this afternoon so not too hopeful.

Not tooooooo down however, keeping chin up, or trying to. Prob won't get chance to go back on today, but will log on tomorrow am with details of my next test. Ooooooooooooooooooooooh the tension.

xx

M2T · 12/11/2003 15:52

The first test I did was negative, got a positive a couple of weeks or so later with ds.....

M2T · 12/11/2003 15:54

OO - But if there was a line then surely that's a positive??

OOOOOOH the saga continues! Fingers-crossed for you!

MUM2ELA · 12/11/2003 15:55

M2T - should I do a test? I think its just wishful thinking . . this ttc is costing me a fortune already, and its only month 1!

M2T · 12/11/2003 15:57

Mum2Ela - YES!
I'm not trying to get your hopes up, but it would be a logical explanation as to why your cycle seemed very long then with only a tiny bleed. GO ON DO IT NOW!

MUM2ELA · 12/11/2003 16:01

Hmmm . . will let you know Friday how I did.. . . see you all later . . good luck everyone. x

M2T · 12/11/2003 16:02

OH NOT ANOTHER ONE! COME BACK Mum2Ela!!!! Don't leave it like that.... please?

pollingfold · 12/11/2003 16:03

Hello everyone, I'm back on this thread after m/c last week.

Back to lots of BDing (yippee - DH put ban on whilst pregnant after bad experience when 41 weeks pg last time), PKU's (boring) and temp taking (if I can find the thermometer after my DS has played with it).

Hope that I can add to the positive thoughts and get us all up the duff.

Am ignoring advice of waiting for one cycle and going straight for it...

Jemma7 · 12/11/2003 16:06

ARRRGGGHHHHHHHH - What is she playing at!!!!!!!!
She can't leave us like this............FRIDAY................What about later on today or Thursday - Friday is jsut ridiculous!

COME BACK M2E

M2T · 12/11/2003 16:07

Welcome back Pollingfold.... this seems to be an extra fertile thread... so the odds look good!

I know Jemma - isn't it sick and nasty and vicious!

quackers · 12/11/2003 16:12
