dont worry, my own nan never remember the e either! lol hope venting some of the frustration helped!!!! well as i have a stinking cold have done no bding since weds and today is day 16 so hopefully we did enough, but im not getting my hopes up!!!

Stacey - Hope your cold gets better soon & congrats on the weight loss. I've just started too.

I'm into the 2ww & desperately trying not to 2nd guess any symtom i get (but not doing very well)

I'm babysitting my 3week old newphew 2moro which i can't wait for but its bound to make me even worse.(either that or remind me what it was like first time round .

well I am pretty sure last week was ovulation time, and we managed to bd Mon, Tues and Wed! However, do you think that is too much? still not sure if you should do it every other day or if it is ok to do it every day!!! anyway we will see in a couple of weekd!

DD was staying with my parents last night so we could have gone out but we are so sad we stayed in and watched Big Brother! glad Rula is out

Evening all - coming to the end of my 2ww and now got a stinking cold andy my tum feels like AF is due today / tomorow. Well will have to try better next month! Just biought diet book to kick start me to lose a few pounds, hopefully that wioll make a difference.

Hope everyone else is ok whatever stage they are at!

i think im in 2ww too, lets think.....cd17 so starting it. weighing myself again tomo, keeping my fingers crossed hopefully losing weight will gain me a beanie!!!!! my stinking cold still hasnt gone and from last nights performance (dd was up between 3 and 6.30 wanting cuddles, but every time she fell asleep enough to put to bed i coughed and woke her up!) shes getting it too, which will be a living nightmare if she feels anywhere near as bad as i feel!!!!

v.v.v. excited tho, tomo me and dp have an appointment with the superintendant registrar for our lisence of marriage!!!

hope everyone is doing well, keep your chins up, i can feel the next lot of BFPs just around the corner!!!

Cor Blimey we are all in a pickle aren't we?? Hope you are feeling a bit better Andy, the dreaded lurgy got me at the weekend so have been feeling sorry for myself too!

All went ok with my Dad, I got the reaction I expected. Things are moving along there so hopefully the end is in sight.

yes it has gone quiet! I was too caught up in my stress re my DDs vaccinations to post on here yesterday (posted about it under health instead but basically our GP messed up her vaccinations so she has to have them all again on Saturday)

Glad it went OK with your dad Jen.

I am towards end of cycle now, so have to resist buying one of those early test things and hold out til Wednesday next week!

it has gone very quiet on here, are any of you that got bfps recently still lurking, give us some encouragement, everything seems to be dragging atm!!!!

well gave notice of marriage on monday and booked the registry office for 26th august, so now iv got so much else to organise im running around like a headless chicken. only thing is, if iv fallen this month il be 8 month pg walking down the aisle! lol oh well!

I'm still lurking. Floating between this thread and the sept 2006 one.

I had to go and see my doctor because I had a bit of spotting early this week but so far it's not happened again. Still have another 2 weeks to wait before I see the midwife for booking in appt.

Good luck to anyone due to test soon!!

im on cd 24 of a normal 28, no symptoms at all, hopefully it'l be this month, even tho that means il be 8 months when we get married!!!!!

Hi All

Well Af arrived. I'm gutted as i really thought it had happened this month. Have been feeling a bit queasy & also felt just like i did when i was pg with DD (stretchy pressure sensations. Had a few tears but now just feel stupid. I think i am going to have to talk to DH about perhaps going to GP to send us for tests but i know he won't be very keen.

Jag-sorry to hear about AF.

As for me. Well AF due on Wednesday, but have been feeling nackered, ratty with DD and desperate for Salt and Vinegar Walkers crisps. I have one of those digital clearblue pregnancy tests in the cupboard-you aren't supposed to test til your AF is due. Anyway, as I think you can probably tell by now, I couldn't resist, although I knew I should wait til Wednesday-and it came up with a big fat 'Pregnant'. Obviously v. pleased but not sure, if I did it earlier than I should have, whether that can affect the result.

Feel very funny about it, though we have been at it like rabbits so should not be a surprise.

Got to try to push all thoughts of chromosonal problems out of my head, but it will be hard.

congratulations. early testing cannot make a difference surely. You only have that hormone if you are pregnant. Can you have early chromosone testing? A friend in a similar position to you has been offered it at 11 weeks.

Hi Majormoo, still lurking on here and just saw you got a BFP! Congratulations!!
I am sure you cannot get a false positive from testing early. I tested quite a few days before AF this time and got a very clear positive. I'm def pg as I'm constantly sick and can't fit in my bras!
Have you worked out a due date? I guess you'll be due Oct. Let us know how you get on!

A big fat congratulations majormoo!!!!!

Like homemama says you can't get a false postitive from testing too early, hpts work by detecting a hormone (beta hcg) which is only about your body when your pregnant, there are scenarios that do give you false positives on hpts like reading the test out of the time limt and if you are on drugs that have the pregnancy hormone in them can cause incorrect results.

CD27 here but that's all depends on wether i OV'd this mnoth have gone as far as CD90 so fingers crossed if i'm pregnant i at least get an AF.

I'm back on CD3, playing with a Clearblue fertility monitor this cycle, and counting the days to the next gynaecologist appointment (21st Feb).

Am on CD15 here with another apt at the fertility Dr tomorrow for the results of last test (day 2/21 & other stuff) - have been at it like rabbits so fingers crossed

Bought a new bed on Sat (already got the new mattress - it's yummy) so fingers crossed it will be lucky for us!
