A fresh new thread.

Lets hope this one is as successful as the last and we can help as many people as we can to come to terms with what has happened to them.
Lets spread some christmas support for everyone.

carlychristmas · 08/12/2005 09:37

DIDDLE thats sooo did you know the actress who plays her is pregnant in real life and thats why she is leaving soon?
XACK are you crazy getting up that early?! my ds2 woke me at ten past five i gave him a beaker of warm milk and mummy went back to bed for two hours (he went back to sleep too) im so lazy when its dark and cold outside
I decided today that i am going to do my xmas food shopping (you know all the nice stuff that inevitably will make me gain three stone !) dp has given me a budget of 100 pound for alcohol and food (stupid man!!) lol
Hope everyone else is doing ok this morning been having cramps all morning so am expecting af v v soon

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 09:58

We did the crappy food and alcohol shopping on Sunday. DF got himself 5 bottles of smirnoff ice (the big ones) I got myself 3 bottles of bubbly white wine. although looks like he gets those too. Tho I may have one glass to celebrate the new year. Depends how I'm feeling on the day.
We bought peanuts (which I cant have) including my beloved choc peanuts!!

So we're going xmas shopping again this sunday to find food that i can eat. lol

jinglediddle · 08/12/2005 10:02

mums - are you or df allergic to anything or have asthma?

jinglediddle · 08/12/2005 10:03

carly - i didn't know she was preggers in real life, does that mean she's gonna die in home and away?

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 08/12/2005 10:05

Tbh Mums, they're not that fussed about you eating peanuts when you're pg unless you or partner have eczema, asthma or nut allergies. If you don't, then some now and then won't harm you or baby at all.
Things have gone so obsessive over the years. it's a new thing you can't do. Every year it's something new. Before long you won't be able to eat choc, any junk food what so ever and probably won't be allowed to move. Drives me crazy! Lol even my mw's thought it had gone way too far.
I say kick back, enjoy the experience and relax.

Can't wait to grab a nap here. Was'nt bad about getting up early (that's normal) but had such a pants night sleep.

jinglediddle · 08/12/2005 10:07

oh xack - i hate missing out on sleep, i have always loved my bed, used to stay in it for hours when i was a teenager, till lunchtime. wish i had time to do that these days

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 10:10

have a nice kip XACK

I've got exzema but part from that no allergies or asthma. so maybe I can have the odd peanut! great! was sooo worrying I'd have to throw them away as DF hates choc peanuts.

XmasAngelCrimboKat · 08/12/2005 10:14

I'm fine if I can get at least 4 hrs solid. It's when I keep waking up during the night that's the killer lol.

mygarland · 08/12/2005 10:42

carlychristmas · 08/12/2005 10:47

DIDDLE im guessing so she might have even had the baby by now so with them being about four months infront i'd say her days were pretty much numbered
MUMS i eat nuts in both my pg and had no probs

Atomicstockinghanger · 08/12/2005 10:49

Sorry I disappeared guys! Had to do a mercy trip to minor injuries with my mum. long story...

Mums - if you have any sort of excema, steer clear of peanuts. I have excema, although only very mild, and my MW friend told me to avoid them. She is a very laid back MW and is all for havigna little of what you fancy (naughty cheeses, wine, pate and all that) but she was quite adamant i avoided peanuts. Sorry - I hated having to avoid peanuts at crimbo - and i was pg 2 xmases in a row (1998 and 1999) as I was PG

I'm struggling to know what to buy my 3 sets of parents (DH has step parents too). Have no idea. As for friends, Next do fantastic dress jewwelry and its very reasonable...

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 10:53

my peanuts!! no!!!! lol

Ah well anything to help junior grow!

Why is it everyone except me has trouble buying for parents mine are dead easy to buy for.

FirstSaintNikkilass · 08/12/2005 12:28

Afternoon ladies...

back from the hospital..although got delays due to no staff... then being told I had been double booked so I could have a pee and start drinking again and wait for 11am when they could fit me in next...just about to close the loo door and my name was called....PHEW..just hung in there.

..........so managed to get the all clear the m/c is now complete and nothing more to do. so pleased I am ok now.

also found out last night from MIL that DH is O- so with me being A- been told no anti-D worries.

mumsXMASwish · 08/12/2005 13:07

I won't say it on here but can someone pop to the aug thread and tel me if things are ok?

FirstSaintNikkilass · 08/12/2005 13:25

well strangely I am ready to crack on with things. (BD'ing etc even I think?)I know its very early though and each day changes. Was tearful in waiting room and scan room 'cos of the memories etc..

Just so relieved that everything is 'normal' and my body is getting sorted.

But surprisingly well thank you
