Anyone testing on 11th August??

I am at the start of the 2WW and planning to test around the 11th August. This is my first proper month trying to concieve following a MMC in April. I am already so nervous/excited and just wish I could fast forward!!!!! Anyone else at the start of their 2WW? Hoping for lots of BFPs!! xx

next month im really going to try and not test early.

well if its not too much information we only had swi 2 weeks ago on friday, around the time, i got a pos on the ov tests, so perhaps i'm still testing too early.

gone through two tests already this month

did the test this am but had to get up to dd at 5am then went to the loo so wee was only stoed up for 4 and a half hours.

my bood feeling a tiny bit tingly this am, that why i though sod it lets do another test, and my tummy feela bit swollen, but that could be over indulgence.

1sttimer after my mcs my cycles went abit crazy and had a 72 day cycle then 54 then slowly got back 32 day cycle but it's so frustrating not knowing what I'd happening, so I sympathise. I will either test Sunday or Monday I'll see how I'm feeling sat evening, if I make it there!

mammy hope your feeling ok. Good idea re: underwear, I always find that if I plan on having a special night with best underwear then always buggerd up by the arrival of AF.....that's why my DP isn't getting any

Carried sorry that you got a BFN, I'm sure that I remember reading somewhere when my cycles were crazy and ibwasnt sure what wad going on, that you should leave it 18 days after the last time of unprotected intercourse and then test. Not sure if that helps at all

I don't know what's happening with me.... One minute I think yay this is it....then I feel like AF is on it's way hmmm!

Ive cheered up a bit now! We bought a new car last night, so excited about that!! We have been putting off getting a car for months because of the baby situation, but after Tuesdays AF turn up we thought sod it! Can't keep putting things on hold!!

oh yeah i know what you mean about getting sick of having life on hold, im desperate fro a whole new wardrobe really, and keep thinking oh might as well wait until after ive had the baby and finished bf!

still no sign of af for me, in a way i wouldn't even mind that bad if i got the af at least then you ould feel liek starting again, but i suppose there still a very slim chance for me.

i think i'll do the 18 day later test as suggested, if thats no, its def got to be no.

I have been feeling a bit light headed today!! This is the symptom that made me test with DD, but I was 8 weeks preggo when found out! Still can't believe I didnt find out till then, don't know how I didn't twig, she was a suprise but I was sooo poorly....thought it was long days and crap diet, till I passed out twice in one day and someone said are you sure you not preggo and a bell went ding ding!
It's making me feel quite excited though! However on the flip side, have had lower back ache, which normally means AF just around the corner

Figure that on D29 of 32 day cycle, if u did a sensitive test I'd probably get true result. But I know deep down that if it was neg then I would only doubt it!!

If I did a test!!! Bloody iPhone the I and u are too close together! X

Great news about the car Figaro, we plan to buy a new one next week to replace our unfamily friendly sports car! I think you are doing extremely well not to test early mumpty and looks like you have some really positive signs fingers crossed for you, carried and all the others on here still waiting to find out. Not sure what is happening with me, AF arrived monday night(two days early) but was very light (but heavier than what everyone says implant would be) and appears to have disappeared today so was much shorter than normal, so not sure where that leaves me with my next cycle. Having got over the disappointmet of it not happening this month have decided that May would be a great month to have a baby so going to get working on that asap!

still no af, nearly did a test again this am, but managed to stop myself, i think i might crack again tomorrow am, no real signs of af a bit of mild cramping but nothing too much, i think my boobs may be tingling, but im not sure if thats in my head!

i was doing ovulation tests to see when i ovulated, and i think the test came up positive around 27/28. then had swi on 29th
so i figured af would be due around today the 12th.

when i wiped myself after going to the loo, there was a blob of glop, cm, it wasn't ewcm, more just tacky, so i thought i'd do an ovulation test, incase ive cocked up weh i thought i'd ovulated, and it came up with a faint line, which i know ov tests can show up pg, or i might have miscalulated when i ovulated
and maybe ive actually compltey missed when i ovulated
if i did ovulate on 27/28 thenh that would be around day 14/15
but my cycles are irrgeular so not much help there, thats the only reason i do the ov tests do i knwo when to expect period

do you think i should do a test pg tomorrow am?

i think they are only 2 quid each, alos i think my local pharmacy sell answer ones which work out to 2.50each if you buy a twin pack.

Ooo sounds good Carried. When did you do the opk? Was it this morning, I have heard that opk can show +ve for preggo hormone! If you can manage it I would wait for as long as you can before going a hpt. I know it's hard but the longer you wait the stronger the hcg! Crossing my fingers and toes for you x

Well today I have spent most of the day teaching my niece to ride her bike, consisting of me running around like a nutter, and dodging my own DD on her bike ( she has also recently learnt to ride and let's say direction and stopping need some work lol)

Now feeling nauseous, tierd and have really achy tummy low down, feels bruised and heavy iykwim! So this could be either today's antics, AF or preggo! I dont have a clue!!

I know exactly what you mean about it driving you mad carried! Why do preg and AF symptoms have to be do simlar? Why can't you get blue feet when you Ov, Green when you AF coming, and Purple when you up the duff. Come on evolution you missed a trick there!!!!

well i did one ov test last nite and one this am, last nites line was darker, but there was a bit of a line there this am, and i'd only gone to the loo 30mins early wasn't fmu

Hmm very interesting carried prehaps you have been testing to early for hpt when you tested before. Only thing is I think that clear blue tests need a lot of hcg to read +ve. Did you get any other tests?

I will be testing on Sunday or Monday if AF doesn't show.

Any one know about temps? I never used this method, as always forgot to take etc. I just took my temp out of interest, my usual temp averages 36.5, and today it's 37.1?! Is this a good sign AF due Sun/ Mon. Not sure how close to AF it would normally drop etc.

mumpty as an experienced charter I feel qualified to help! you'd need to temp every day of your cycle to see a pattern. It's lower at the start of your cycle then you see a peak as you ovulate. However the actual temps and cover line (the line that divides the pre and post ovulation temps varies from month to month. Drinking the night before tends to give a higher reading too. My temp usually drops one or two days before af is due. Hth.

What. Sort of themomiter do you use ? Can you use an ear one? Do you have to take it in bed?

I used (given up temping for a bit now) an oral fahrenheit thermometer. Ear ones aren't senstive enough. You should temp before you get up (any movement can alter the temp) and ideally at the same time and after 3 hours sleep (not always possible). For the last six months I have woken at 6am every day - even weekends - to temp. This morning I slept til 8.45 and it was bliss! Charting is very useful to gauge when you're ovulating (I started charting to see if I was ovulating because my progesterone was coming back low). BUT it sometimes takes over your life! -can't wee at 3am, might affect my temps, must take thermomter on holiday with me etc. If you really want to start temping I strongly reccomend this book. DH says I should have shares in this book I've reccomended it so many times! Seriously though it helps you understand your body signs in conjuction with temps. There's also a great charting course on fertility friend and you can put your temps into it and it'll do your chart for you and tell you when it thinks you've ovulated. HTH

10 days of mega tiredness.
Period due wed 10th, so now 3 days late.
Test on wed = neg.
Test middle of last might = neg.

Bit of brownish ness today.

I've sworn to God to DP that I'm pregnant because I've been soooo tired for 10days, asleep every afternoon, He won't give me the reassurance that everything will be ok, because he doesn't think I'm PG, so I'm so emotional and confused, as we are not married and I'm 41yrs. he has 2 DS, I have 2 DD.

Now after that 'oooo is that AF' coming feeling discovered the brownishness (sorry if TMI!) and crampy tummy, feel a bit stupid that his cautiousness is vindicated. grrr
