figaro, when i was pg with my dd, i did internet cheapies for a week, all came back neg, then i did a cb, and it came up pos staright away.
so i guess theres still a chance, although i understand you wouldn't want to get your hopes too high
well dd's dentist appointment went as well as could be hoped for i guess, i was dreading them saying theres and abcess it will need to be removed.
but theres no sign of abcess, or displacement, and its only midly grey, it may or may not get darker, usually after 3-4 weeks it doesn't get any darker but it can.
i really hope it doesn't get any darker as its not very noticable at all.
he said 80% likely the adult teeth will not be effected, but that he predicts she will start to get her adult teeth through from age 5 an a half, in 18months time, and that the lower front ones look like they come through first.
and that she had good spacing for them
i supoose there will be a fair few years of teeth coming and going, and once the teeth start falling out it will be along time before she has a proper full set again.
so i guess you get used to the gappy look after a while
he did say that "active" children that tend to have these accidents tend to turn around and do something similar two weeks later and that a second blow would make abcess etc more likey
so i feel a bit paranoid about dd banging her mouth now
so all in all he said the tooth is not dead, just there has been some damage to the nerve, how much we don't really know yet
hopefully it won't go any greyer but is possible
thanks so much for the support i feel so much calmer today, i think i'll feel calmer still tomorrow.
think i might do a first response test tomorrow.
if i feel brave/calm enough
