Well I caved in and tested with an ic and BFN. Just waiting for AF now.

So sorry montymum and havealittlefaith. Still keeping fingers crossed for carried.

Thought this was going to be a lucky thread after the 1st 2 bfps. I'm off to sulk for a week before trying again! Lol!

carriedababi · 09/08/2011 10:44

oh no so sorry to hear that everyoneSad
i really thought this was going to be a lucky thread too.

figaro, whatis a ic?

have a little faith, i'll have a pray for you too, as i've been preying for my dd

about to go the the dentist in about half an hour feeling sick.
incase they say its got an absess or anything, theres a slight swelling behind the truma, hopefully it was just thetruama not an abcess causing that swelling.
can't see any sign off a pimple though, and i think that what your ment to look for in an abcess.
at least we will see the dentist soon.

if today goes well, then i might do a first reponse tomorrow if i feel stable enough!

Figaro82 · 09/08/2011 10:45

Ic = Internet Cheapie :)

Hope the dentist goes well for you DD.

carriedababi · 09/08/2011 10:53

oh i see fiagro,

thanks for the kid wishes.

i know im a drama queen but i feel so sick at the thought of what he might say or do.

i will update later.

i really hope next month is your lucky month, unless you tested to early and theres still a chance for this month?

Figaro82 · 09/08/2011 13:16

There may still be a chance but I am not feeling that hopeful. We will see!

OP posts:
carriedababi · 09/08/2011 16:22

figaro, when i was pg with my dd, i did internet cheapies for a week, all came back neg, then i did a cb, and it came up pos staright away.

so i guess theres still a chance, although i understand you wouldn't want to get your hopes too high

well dd's dentist appointment went as well as could be hoped for i guess, i was dreading them saying theres and abcess it will need to be removed.
but theres no sign of abcess, or displacement, and its only midly grey, it may or may not get darker, usually after 3-4 weeks it doesn't get any darker but it can.
i really hope it doesn't get any darker as its not very noticable at all.
he said 80% likely the adult teeth will not be effected, but that he predicts she will start to get her adult teeth through from age 5 an a half, in 18months time, and that the lower front ones look like they come through first.
and that she had good spacing for them
i supoose there will be a fair few years of teeth coming and going, and once the teeth start falling out it will be along time before she has a proper full set again.
so i guess you get used to the gappy look after a while
he did say that "active" children that tend to have these accidents tend to turn around and do something similar two weeks later and that a second blow would make abcess etc more likey
so i feel a bit paranoid about dd banging her mouth now

so all in all he said the tooth is not dead, just there has been some damage to the nerve, how much we don't really know yet
hopefully it won't go any greyer but is possible

thanks so much for the support i feel so much calmer today, i think i'll feel calmer still tomorrow.

think i might do a first response test tomorrow.
if i feel brave/calm enough

Figaro82 · 09/08/2011 16:55

Hi Carried,

Glad it went OK at the dentist and hope your DD is OK!

I might join you then with a FRER test tomorrow! Fingers crossed for both of us!

OP posts:
carriedababi · 09/08/2011 17:03

yes i think i'm going to crack on do a test tomorow am.
aslong as i feel calm!

montymum · 09/08/2011 17:11

Glad the news at the dentist was ok carried when I taught in Year 1 most childrens teeth began to fall out so between the ages of 5 and 6. I look forward to hearing both your FR results tomorrow. After a few hours of tears and sulking I'm begining to feel more positive- maybe next month will be my month- or if noy at least I will be back at work not driving myself mad all day wondering.

havealittlefaithbaby · 09/08/2011 17:36

Yes glad to hear that it should be ok carried.
DH had some bloods tests repeated which have come back awry again. Looks like this might be causing our ttc problems, it's related to his pituitary- high prolactin, low testosterone which can cause problems with his swimmers. So now I conclude it's not going to happen until that's straightened out....
Wait to hear fr results eagerly.

1sttimetryer · 09/08/2011 17:56

Is it too late for me to join? I have to test in a weeks time and im so bored of waiting already!! i have stupidly long cycles so its taken forever to get here, last week of waiting is going to be torture!! Is it wrong to test just a few days early?! Grin
Sorry to hear about your dds tooth carried hopefully it wont get any worse.
Congratulations to the couple of BFP's
Sorry to all the ones AF got and good luck to all the ones testing in the next few days

Im really hoping and praying that i am pregnant this time as i dont know if i can face waiting so long to ovulate every month its depressing!!!
Take care :)

mammyemcbe · 09/08/2011 18:00

Good luck to everyone testing tomorrow Grin still no AF here but I'm holding out testing til Friday ifs there's still no sign . My dh reckons it's wasting money and if I am i am . Got to love a male point of view Angry

Figaro82 · 09/08/2011 20:11

Well AF just turned up. I'm going to have a little cry :).

Good luck to the rest of you ladies xx

OP posts:
havealittlefaithbaby · 09/08/2011 20:21

mammyemcbe · 09/08/2011 20:35

carriedababi · 09/08/2011 20:40

ah sorry to hear that fig.

really hope it happens for you next month.

mammy,oh yeah don;t you just love the male point of view! that the sort of thing my dh would say, he tends to see things in black and white.

hi 1st time tryer, i think i spoke to you on another thread.
i think we spoke about our long cycles!

how long have you been trying for? and i take it, its your first baby your trying for?

thanks for all the concern about dds teeth, its really kind of you all to be so uncerstanding, i really went into a proper melt down at the weekendBlush
but i feel much minch calmer today, trying to tell myself its happend now so feeling bad about it won;t do any good.
and it wasn't worse case sceanario.
hopefully it will get no worse.

MumptyDumpty · 10/08/2011 00:03

Really sorry to hear that AF got you monty and figaro I will cross my finger for you that you for your next cycle >

Good luck to everyone planning on testing in the morning Smile

Carried so glad that it all went ok at the dentist. Fx that it doesn't get darker, and that it'll all be ok... I am sure that it will be

1sttimer well come to the thread. How long are your cycles? And when are you planning to test. AF is due on 14th and due to previous heartache caused by testing early, I will wait until then to test.

mammy don't you just love men, and how simple things are for them. Or how sumple they are in general Wink Ideally DP would have me wait 2 weeks after AF due before testing..... Yeah alright like that's likely to happen!

Havealittle glad you are getting some answers, and hopefully they can do something to help with that x

I am still feeling rather sick, however I think that is a lot do do with current affairs and everyday stress. I feel like AF may be on her way, as very spotty, keep getting twinges, and very moody. I really hope I am wrong, but I am not feeling as positive as I was last week

Best wishes to you all x

havealittlefaithbaby · 10/08/2011 06:20

Af here too. Ow :(

Figaro82 · 10/08/2011 06:27

Thanks everyone. I enjoyed the chocolate with a bottle of beer last night :).

Sulk over although I hate the thought of another 4ww!!

So sorry havealittlefaith :( ( passes remainder of chocolate, a bottle of beer and a virtual hug).

1sttimetryer · 10/08/2011 06:35

Sorry to see AF got you fig and have, really hope next month is your month.
Hi carried, yea i think we could well have spoken on another thread, yes its our first baby wer trying for. we have been trying about 6months, but only had 2 AF's in that time!

Thank you mumty , my cycles are really irregular, ive had one thats been 42 days and another 48, this time i am on cd65, and im due my AF on the 16th (I only know this because i have been recording my temp on fertility friend else by now i would be getting really worried, ff says i ov'd last tue) Im hoping that something messed up my ovulation this time as this is the longest cycle i have had so far.
Well i plan to test after my AF doesnt turn up (because of course it wont!!) but in reality i bet i will do a test on sunday Grin

Good luck to those testing in the next few days

Wildwaterfalls · 10/08/2011 09:21

LittleDragon · 10/08/2011 15:18

Well I've been tucked up on sofa by DP after going very light-headed and nauseous while we were out shopping earlier. I've also had cramps for the last 3 days. Planning to test tomorrow am.
