Anyone testing on 11th August??

I am at the start of the 2WW and planning to test around the 11th August. This is my first proper month trying to concieve following a MMC in April. I am already so nervous/excited and just wish I could fast forward!!!!! Anyone else at the start of their 2WW? Hoping for lots of BFPs!! xx

Can i join too please you all seem like lovely ladies so lets hope for lots of BFP's, I plan to test on the 10th and have been driving myself mad symptom spotting- which have now all disappeared so thinking the worst- not sure how I have only just spotted this thread because I have been on mumsnet daily looking for people in the same situation so I don't go mad in the 2ww- haven't told anyone in RL we are ttc after we had 3 mc a couple of years ago- so poor DH is the currently taking the brunt of all my am I aren't I ramblings !

Let us know Carrie how you get on. If its a BFP it would make me tempted to try testing on Sunday!

Just tested with a FR and got bfn . Not due on till 8th guess I'll just have to wait and see if af arrives

Hi monty!!! Come and ramble to us!!! As I'm sure you will see we have all well and truly been symptom spotting. Mine have all pretty much gone so not feeling as hopeful today :(

Mammy 4 days early lots of people don't get BFP will keep everything crossed for you. Figaro I didn't get any symptoms before when I was pregnant in fact I once got to 11 weeks (crazy as it sounds obviously wasn't ttc at the time!) and still had no idea until it all went wrong- so no early symptoms doesn't necessarily mean no hope xx
Saying that when I had an achy left breast early in the week I was convinced!!

Thanks monty I couldnt help myself getting a test then I was raging when I got bfn . I'm gonna wait til af is due and see what happens . I'll put it out of my mind til then (yeah right) fingers crossed for everyone else

I'm sitting on my hands! I'm about 11dpo but because my cycles are quite irregular af could come as soon as Saturday or as late as this time next week! Think I'll test early next week...

I've had next to no appetite all day as well as nausea on and off all day. I also went very light-headed this afternoon. Also cramping on my right hand side this afternoon. Also had metallic taste all day.

Ooh I've been light headed! Also bad reflux and awful skin.break out.

I am TTC number 2, I have Dd 6, from a previos relationship.

I had two early mc 2 Years ago, Then DP got a new Job which meant he is working away alot, so timing has been difficult typically my body and his work pattern have an issue syncing so we have taken the see what happens approach, nothing has! Boooo!!!

We are now more settled and ready to activly TTC, and now crossing my fingers and toes. Trying not to become to obsessive, but that is easier said than done! I am driving myself mental with symptom spotting. Not due to test until the 14th so going to be hiding out in here for a while yet.

Sorry for the waffle, is insomnia a symptom, because I really can't sleep. Also had dizzy spells, period type pain when not due for 9 days, waves of nausea and major spots around my jaw line.... Never had these before obviously these are all symptoms

I'll be testing tomorrow morning, currently 13 DPO and have had incredibly sore boobs all week. Really hoping this is a good sign!! Have so far managed to resist testing but I am going a bit crazy, don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight!

Well ladies, I tested this morning and guess what: BFP!!! The first of many for this thread I hope!

It came up straight away and really strongly! Very excited!! It will be hard to concentrate at work today!

Hope this is a lucky thread for all of us.

I've been watching this thread with interest as AF was due yesterday and she's not here yet. Have had all sorts of symptoms for a week or so now however I'm convinced they're only there because i'm looking for them. I have a very regular cycle so if it gets to Sunday then there's definitely something going on. Amazingly have held off testing. Need to manage my expectations big time...

This is my first cycle of TTC#1 so i really don't know what to expect or how my body would react.

well i wasn't going to test today, think im due on period around next friday.

but last night had 2 dreams that pg test was positive

and i thought it was almost real when i woke up

so i did a first response test bfn

i know its a bit early well very early, but says 62% accurate from 6 days early

so i feel ive only got 50% chance now

next month i wont test so early

its only because i was convinced i was i id it

Bless you carried could still be! That's why I won't test early anymore, too many heart breaks. I'm not totally convinced about FR, they cost a lot for something quite ambiguous results! I will be poas with my poundland cheapo soon...

Congratulations on the BFP wild that's so exciting

carried try not to be too disappointed, as you said it's very early to test, and could easily still get a positive result in a few days. Those early detection tests are aimed at people that ovulate at day 14. So if you happened to ov later this cycle may not be detecting hcg yet x

Hope you have a lovely time today figaro, what did you decide regarding alcohol, it's my brothers birthday today and we are supposed to be all meeting for a drink, I think I will drive and use that to cover the fact I'm not drinking.

I was convinced AF was gonna get me today (she still might) had really bad AF cramps all day just like before i'm due on, but nothing appeared yet! nausea seems to have gone tho... hmmmm bring on tomo!

well the packet said from 6 days before and i tested 7 days before, which is pretty bonkers!

not sure i can hold out until friday!

got any good distraction ideas.

My DP has had to do all the cooking today cos the smell of anything cooking has sent me nauseous. I've also been very tired dispite having 8 hours sleep last might compared to my usual 5 hours. He also had to bring me toast before i could get up this morning cos the waves of nausea were so strong.
