Hiya.

CD1 here. Fucking AF :( :( :(

Good luck to everyone :)

RedRobin36 · 07/01/2012 18:10

Thanks babybrain, much easier to see everything now! Hope you've managed to watch it..I'm sure it said you could watch it on the channel4 website? Or is that 4 on demand? Not sure! Ohh right I'm further down in rainy south wales..god I know I went back to work on wednesday, christmas hols seemed to go so quick!

Hi impatientone! That's kind of my outlook this month..don't think I'm going to get any opks..just lots of swi until afs due! Good luck to you too :o

RedRobin36 · 07/01/2012 18:48

Oh no sorry to hear that sleepy! Keep positive, I know its bloody hard month after month! 2012 baby is still possible :) x

Lugsie · 09/01/2012 08:05

Welcome ImpatientOne!

Sorry to hear about AF getting you SleepyCaz Sad

redrobin that's my strategy too- just lots of swi throughout the month and keeping my fx! Although DH is about to go away for a couple of days with work so really hoping we won't miss our 'window' this month!

Hope everybody had a nice weekend?

RedRobin36 · 09/01/2012 22:06

Great minds Lugsie! ;) When are you ovulating? (sorry if you've already said!) Fx for you catching the window, hope your DH isn't going too far!

I typically ovulate around CD21/22, so a bit of a wait for me yet..i think..will work it out now! The waiting in limbo is such a pain,

I had a nice weekend thankyou, childminded 2 lovely babies on the sat (my job in the week also - makes ttc 10 times harder! lol) and watched DF play rugby in the freezing cold, roast afterwards though :)

How was yours?? good i hope! x

babybrain3 · 10/01/2012 21:22

How old are your dc lugsie? do you think you will have any more after 3?

babybrain3 · 12/01/2012 20:23

Sorry, I meant sleepy think I've got babybrain already!!! So sorry lugsie BlushBlush

RedRobin36 · 16/01/2012 10:00

Its gone very quiet here! Any updates babybrain? Or anyone else?

babybrain3 · 16/01/2012 15:50

Not me.... No symptoms Sad

ImpatientOne · 16/01/2012 17:02

So after never having even an imaginary line on an OPK I went ahead and ordered a CBFM this morning. I am on CD15 today so we've been SWI this weekend, we tried the Yes Baby organic lubricant as I've had some issues when taking this approach previously Blush

Anyway after biting the bullet and ordering the fertility monitor I've had my first ever positive OPK!! Typical eh! Am now very distracted and have texted DH to warn him that more action is needed - that will be a Grin from him!

Well at least I feel that there is some progress as was really starting to think I had no ovulation hormones in me at all!

babybrain3 · 16/01/2012 19:35

Good luck impatientone!!!! Wink

ImpatientOne · 16/01/2012 21:13

Thanks babybrain

I confessed to my DH my insane excitement at seeing a line on a pee stick earlier and the fact that I then needed to go online to talk about it! Thankfully he's still prepared to SWI despite thinking I'm a frickin lunatic

babybrain3 · 16/01/2012 22:18

Just watched last weeks obem-can't believe Heather was straightening her hair after giving birth!!!Confused

RedRobin36 · 17/01/2012 17:37

That made me laugh impatient! Mainly because that's exactly what I was like when I got a positive opk for the first time, isn't it sad! :o great news that you finally got one, and good luck! I'm a bit behind you, should be ovulating in the next few days so swi galore at the mo'!

I know babybrain I couldn't believe it! She did really well though, but I was cringing at her husband! I couldn't watch when that other lady who's baby got stuck was on and they had to ring the alarms, I was so relieved when he came out!! How far into 2ww are you babybrain?

babybrain3 · 17/01/2012 20:18

AF should arrive at the end of the week, no symptoms so think she's on her way humpf Angry

ImpatientOne · 17/01/2012 21:09

Thanks Robin it's nice to know I'm not alone in the crazy club. I am now worried what my reaction will be like if when I get a BFP on a hpt!!! My plan of calmness and keeping it to ourselves may be harder than I thought...

Heather, Danny and their baby were on Channel 5 this morning - the Gaby thing after the Wright stuff - I know I know but I work at home and it was just on Blush honest

Anyway baby was incredibly well behaved so it looks like their perfect life is continuing, I got a bit annoyed tho when she kept talking about her mindset resulting in the 'perfect calm' birth as I still believe a heck of a lot of good luck was involved! Looking forward to tomorrow's show!

RedRobin36 · 18/01/2012 00:12

Not over yet babybrain fingers crossed for you :)

I totally agree impatient, I don't think I'll actually believe it, I'll probs think the test is broken or something! It is funny when you take a step back and look at the stuff we are willing to do and the stuff we get excited over..and its just normal to us now! Haha!

Ohh were they, I think so too..she laboured really quickly, she was ready to push not long after she got in the pool! With her handmade bikini..hilarious!
Yep I'm looking forward to it, that weeks gone so quickly..

Random change of subject, are any of you ladies on pregnacare conception or have used it? I started taking them last weds, but felt really sick friday and sat so stopped taking them and didn't feel sick again. Just taken another today to see if it is them so we will see, I hope not. Any feedback on them?

Oops I've written a bloody essay!

babybrain3 · 18/01/2012 06:59

I started taking the conception ones in April last year, but then changed to the normal pregnancy ones when I realised the conception ones were about twice the price...and they still have the folic acid in... Don't think I had any nausea with them though...

ImpatientOne · 18/01/2012 08:15

I started them a while ago Robin but, although not nauseous I didn't feel great. I was very constipated Blush and could tell there was a lot of iron in them iykwim...

I stopped them & went back to plain old folic acid - also because I was having some tests at the hospital & DH was put off SWI for a while incase it made things worse - I knew I wasn't going to get pg yet so stopped with the expensive ones!!! Grin

I have full intentions to go back to them when I need them & persevere....

babybrain3 · 18/01/2012 09:53

I've just started getting a few cramps that don't feel like AF cramps... Fx it's implantation... No other symptoms though Confused

bella2012 · 18/01/2012 12:41

Hello! Please can I join you? I am new to mumsnet and only on my second month of ttc. I found your thread the other day and read the whole thing! I think you are all amazing, so brave and supportive of each other. I will do my stats when I read back what I am supposed to do! Thanks so much :)

ImpatientOne · 18/01/2012 13:59

Hi Bella and welcome.

I am now officially in my 2WW - urgh I hate this part! I do however have a silver lining if AF does come along as my shiny new Clear Blue Monitor arrived this morning! So as much as I don't want it to show at least I have a new toy to play with and more sticks to pee on yippee

How's everyone doing? It seems quiet here, is that cos there's not many people left????

Lugsie · 18/01/2012 14:23

Grrr just typed a massive message but it didn't post and has disappeared!

I'll try again... Hi ladies!

robin - haven't tried pregnacare, I just take normal folic acid. How are you feeling now?

impatient - I'm gutted I missed Heather from OBEM yesterday, would have loved to see how they're doing. I loved watching her birth last week, if I could describe what I imagine my ideal birthing experience to be it'd be something like that! Can't wait for tonight's show!

babybrain - that's exciting! Really hope its implantation cramps!

Welcome bella Smile

Lugsie · 18/01/2012 14:26

Oh I've just realised, it looks like most of us are in our 2ww now... anyone got any symptoms to report to go with babybrain's hopefully implantation cramps?

For me af is due on Monday. I have slightly sore boobs but I always get that pre-af anyway so not really a symptom!

bella2012 · 18/01/2012 18:27

thanks for the welcome! So my stats are bella2012 (28) TTC #2 cycle 2 AF due 10th feb.

Impatient- what is your new gadget? Sounds exciting!

I have just calculated when i am ovulating and it is when we are away visiting family. We will also have our ds who is 2 in the room! Oh well! We will have to be v quiet! :-)
