Hello! New to this discussion...month one. AF due Wed and I could not help myself... Done loads of tests which have all resulted in a BFN! Despite a long list of changes...

Headaches (could be tired or lack of caffiene)
Bb's aching (maybe they always ache but it's the first time I've noticed)
Hypersensitive taste and smell (as above)
Nausea when hungry (I love food so not majorly unusual)
Lots of extra saliva (no other explanation)
Sniffles (hay fever)?
4 days Post ovulation ovary pain (no other explanation)

I'm away with work from tomorrow and not going to take and tests along so I have to wait until I get back if my AF doesn't show up Wed. I'm home Wed night.

All symptoms have been on and off and inconsistent. Time will tell I guess....

Anyone else in a similar boat?

AF got me yesterday :( at least now I will be able to work out ov and due dates etc... Wish we had been lucky though :(

Welcome tibbycat add yourself to the stats! Your symptoms sound promising!

Still nothing from me... although af has gone walkies after one day I'm convinced I'm not pg and I ran out of tests last month so currently resisting the urge to go out and buy more as don't want the disappointment of another month of BFNs. May just order a new batch of internet cheapies ready for next month though! In the meantime I've updated the stats as best as I can - has anyone heard from people near the top of the list?

lugsie fingers crossed for you! Your 1 day AF could have been an implantation bleed..

I'm just shy of 7 weeks and (touch wood!) all is going well! Had my first scan last week (am high risk so get checked over early) and all is well - good strong heartbeat and baby is right size for age. Am nauseous and tired, but happy!

Best of luck to everyone else on the thread! Hoping for more BFPs soon!

Thanks for all the congrats! Dp is still in disbelief bless him, bought a clearblue digital for tomorrow morning so he can see the word pregnant in the hope that will help I on the other hand am already finding it hard not to tell all and sundry ha ha!

I've just had a quick peek at the graduates thread trope and looks just as nice as in here! So pleased to have been on this thread, the support and advice has been invaluable so thank you so much and I have my fingers tightly crossed for everyone else to get their bfp quick smart!

babybrain nope, I think my one-day af of last Thursday is all I'm getting this month! I should be thankful for it really but its weird when af normally lasts for a week! It seems like my body is playing tricks on me these last couple of months! From your update it looks as if we have similar cycles so fx September will be our month

hello, am fairly new to both site and ttc! I have tried to add myself to the list, hope i got it right! i was determined to be casual about this for fist few months but have found myself totally obsessed much to OH dismay. after SWI this month i have had crampy pains for few days following, this has gone now, not sure what this means any ideas? as no one i know is even vaugly in the same boat as me, i look forward to going on this jorney with you guys :)

Hey ladies,

I'm returning to this thread following a whirlwind BFP (very unexpected), pg for 7 weeks and then a miscarriage. Was a really tough week or so because i felt so pg and just couldn't understand why it would have gone wrong. But now am in a much better frame of mind and ready to get right back on it. Have been advised not to TTC until after my next period following the miscarriage. But having done a lot of searching, it looks like this isn't a medical reason and more a dating reason. I'm thinking as we lost the little pea so early I hope my body will recover quickly. And to be honest I feel quite good and optimistic. So have decided to get cracking now and not wait. I don't know when i'll be expecting AF to arrive after the mc but as i'm a very regular 29 day cycle i'm going to take a guess at the end of September. This will have been 42 days following the mc. Am rambling but basically i'm excited and optimistic :)

Thanks baby and lugsie. If i was on a usual cycle i'd be in my fertile 5 days at the moment so have been SWI-ing in the hope i am ovulating. However as it's not a usual cycle i'm really not sure if I am ov-ing. Have lots of internet cheapie ov tester kits so may pee on one. Should i be doing this in the morning or is any time of the day ok?

Just make sure it's a similar time each day and reduce your fluid 2 hours before.

Thanks tibby. I did a test yesterday evening and it showed I wasn't Ov-ing. Actually was quite happy as DP is away this weekend. Am wondering how long it'll be before I get AF following the mc. I hope it's just like a normal cycle...

Anyway, enough of me. How's everyone else getting on??

Totally understand. Hate the thought of being apart if I was oving. I've not yet tried the OV tests but I may further down the line if a result is slow (inexistent)!

For me, AF 3 days late but BFN. I am 28 days clockwork and have been for as long as I can remember. At most I'm a day late but if anything I'm a day early.

Done two types of cheapies and both negative.

All I can think is that the copper coil removal, despite 0 hormones has disrupted things. I had it removed day 1 of my last period. The AF last month was just about to start and then after removal, suddenly stopped. Then a day later, started again and a normal. 3 days as usual and so the month continued. Had OV pains but no OV spotting (sometimes do). Spoke to doc and said the iud removal can cause a disruption but it's rare. Sounded like a response for something they couldn't explain to me!

This is the last thing I expected to have a problem with.

Another alternative, have gained weight this year (2 stones ) could it be this. Last month gained 2 pounds so not masses!!

I don't know much about the coil but when I was pg I didn't get a BFP until AF was 7 days late. So you never know...

Thanks mitm. I did a test last night ..... Faintest line ever. A is the light playing tricks on me type of line. Hubby could see it too and it's still there this morning. Compared it to other old ones and you can def see a line, it's still there now. So, I could hardly sleep and at 5am tested again big fat zero nothing! What is going on with my body I wonder! x

Don't lose hope tibby. I tested on 3 days after AF was due on a CB digital an got bfn. Then pushed it to the back of my mind until 8 days after AF was due and got lots of unmistakeable bfps. So basically just try and stay cool and calm about it all. Don't test constantly otherwise it'll wind you up in knots.

Been seeing some ew mucus this weekend but haven't bothered with an opk as DP is away til tomorrow. Really hope I do ovulate normally following the mc... So gona swi big time tomorrow eve

Having read this back I don't think I'm big on peeing on sticks. Makes me too upset/wound up!
