Well its about time you had a new thread.
I wanted to wish you all the best of luck with your trying to conceive and say that it might take weeks months or years, but you won't find a better group for support.
We have all been through the same experinces and talking to someone who has felt the same makes a world of difference.
You will all get your BFP's soon and in the meantime, lets try and keep as calm and de-stressed as possible.

I've not had a smear yet, really not looking forward to needing one, but I think I'll actually ask for one soon, as that (small chance) maybe the reason for mc. Before ttc i'll have to get smear.

Does it hurt?

doctors seem to think its a problem with the female chromosome??? they could have a point as i have two healthy boys..... my mum suffered three m/c and she has three girls so maybe she is the opposite to me and cant carry boys. (tbh im just clutching at straws as i dont want to thinkthere is a major prob with me ) Also when i had d&c with the first i had an infection in my womb, but when i mentioned this to the doc he said well it couldnt have done that much damage as you have two healthy children

well found lump so went drs and gave smear (wasn't regular testing up to that point - naughty!) and same time found out abnormal smear and also endometriosis 1999 was not a joyful year. They are probably behind on tests ring them and they should be able to chase up for you.

When I have tests they tell me an approx waitng time which varies from 2 to 6 weeks usually.

Whn I had my smear done it was a 9 weeks waiting time for results!! 9 weeks is way too long IMO.

You have endo, Nikki? Xmasangelcrimbokat is the lady for you to speak to if you have...

xmas - it doesn't hurt no - its simple lay down knees up feet together and presto they take sample done and dusted. I would strongly urge all women to have one and not put them off due to my own experience.

Carly - my aunty couldnt carry boys either. I have heard of this a few times this past week.

What is endo? Don't tell me if you don't want to, it's just i've heard hellkat talking about it for ages and i thought it was something to do with her back or something (dont know y) now with the association of smears makes me think its something feminine

Endo is not directly linked with smears (i don't think) I was just unlucky and found a few things wrong at the same time?

Endo is the same thing as the lining of the womb only its on the outside of the ovaries and womb etc. it attaches itself to internal organs eg. bowell uterus etc. and pulls a little or a lot and can or cannot cause pain. You can have loads and no or little pain or have a little endo and loads of pain.

Can be treated by various medications and pregnancy!

well the infertile bit I was worried about prepared myself for a long wait but....
Got married 1st October 2005.. started trying from that night and conceived between 2nd and 4th October so infertile I don't think so

so hoping will be that quick next time

well thats ok then, Everytime I hear of something that might make people infertile, I really get upet, or hear about someone who thinks they may be infertile, it really hurts because it means that they're missing their chance. Not that i'm saying thats all women are for but it must be SOO hard. I truly feel for anyone who has to go through mc's over and over again (carly etc) and who have to have IVF only for it to fail. I know I'm prob bringing the tone down but it really worries me.
