Well I fell off another bus and rather than wait around for the next one I thought I would get another going myself. So have stocked it up with cake, - for the first 2 weeks and - for the 2ww'ers :)

Hoping it will be a lucky bus for lots of us - and I might have a birthday baby :)

I had + 12 and 13 and will do another one later today (14) to see. On the box it says to stop once you have a + but I am far too curious - I want to know at which BIT of the surge I caught it!

I know on the instructions on the OPK they say stop on the first positive, i've always continued until I get a negative just in case I have a weird cycle and the surge goes on for a long time.

This has not ever happened so I might be being paranoid but I like to know that i've ovulated. Though I think the only cast iron way to tell you've ov'd is to chart and take your temperature as you need to see the rise in temp.

My DP works away so I can't just dtd every other day though. If you can then if you start from the positive then you should be ok but to be super sure use OPK's and chart at the same time and you will be as sure as you can ever be that you did it at the right time.

I'm finally back online after 2 weeks of internet trouble!!
According to my calculations I should be ovulating about now. I did a test yeatserday and today and got faint test line, much fainter than control line, but I think that is detecting a coming surge as an earlier test gave no test line at all.
As for the 'how many tests?' debate. I intend to test every day until I get a negative, which should be around Monday by my reckoning.
Due to lack of internet I have not managed to buy CB from amazon so I'm on Tesco cheapies this month.
As I haven't been on for a while can anyone update me - have we had any BFPs?

Not sure if i can be on this bus now, i am having to take antibiotics for an ear infection which says you shouldnt take if trying to get pregnant so i guess this week is off limits for swi and as i am not sure of my cycles as only had one since coming off the pill i dont know when i am ovulating !!

Right, I think I oved Thursday - EWCM+++ and I got a pain in lower r abdomen (only noticed coz I'm on hyper sensitive alert to every slight twinge). SWI Weds, and Thurs night - with preseed, prob tonight as well for luck. Can it be enough this time....

Wish I had used okp's this month as still completely confused when or even if I have ovulated - so much for my regular cycle and ovulation :( it would pack up and leave just when I need it!!

Sorry to hear af has caught up with a few but hope that we will have some more BFP's after our good start.

Being quite chilled this month with the symptom spotting as don't think there is much chance so just having fun with DH instead - a nice change for both of us :)

Hate hate the 2ww! Sure it hasn't happened this month so one of those 2ww when you're just gagging to get going on the swi again. Annoying!

hey mrsCog sounds like you're doing well - fingers crossed! What's pre-seed by the way?

My OPKs are confusing - I have been testing since CD9 and now CD 14 and every day I get the same very very faint line... My last cycle was 40 days though so I guess I shouldn't be expecting OV for another week or so. But then I worry that the OPKs are wrong and if we don't SWI now we'll miss it!

Why can't there just be a big flashing light or something which appears when we're ovulating...

Is OV on CD12 good for a 29 day cycle? Have no idea.

Imustbecrazy26, I conceived DD4 on strong antibiotics, no affect on baby at all so don't give up hope.

minipie - that's why the cb digi ones are good (though dear!) - a big smiley face appears!!
stuff - according to ff the day before the +, the day of the + and the day after give you a 'high' chance. 3 days in a row quite hardcore though imho! the night before already gets a 'good' on it's own though!

Not my month this month but as my cycle is pretty short there is a chance I might still be on the March bus so will stick around.

Preseed is a sperm friendly lube - lots of them aren't so great for the little guys (and I'm quite lube reliant), so am using this now - it also replicates EWCM apparently. Had terrible mood swing this afternoon - could it be post ov hormone changes...? I think it's safe to say my 2ww has begun. Oh yey :)

Minipie- looks like you just going to have to jump on your dh at every oppertunity untill your cycle settles down!!!! Think that why im not going crazy about opks at the min give my body chance to sort it self out and fingers crossed might get lucky and get a bfp one month. Hummm i wonder if ill be saying that when im waiting for af to arrive in few weeks!!!! Probably not!!!

Help! In need of a hormone expert - think I'm 2/3 dpo and I've got the worst pmt mood swings I've ever had - furious one minute, in tears the next.... I'm at my Mum and Dad's for fathers day and am sitting inside alone as can't bear to be around other people! What hormone change is this? And could it prevent Ttc?

Are you sure you've ov-d? I get pms symptoms the day before or day of ov. I get really moody, crave sugary stuff and am quite frankly a bitch to everyone.

I was going to agree with pomme , are your timings definitly right. I feel very PMT'ish at the moment, ie want chocolate and feel v. annoyed with everyone and everything. Although I am supposedly 5dpo I think I could be more as it doesn't fit with how I feel.

Hmm well based ov on Thursday on the 5 days of EWCM I'd had, culmulating in being really really horny Thurs and had lower abdo pain (ov pain?), EWCM has since stopped. If I can stop crying maybe it would be worth a SWI just to be on the safe side :)

Bit of swi might also put you in abetter mood too - tends to have that effect with me anyway!

stuffthenonsense I'm OV at moment so have dtd thurs, sat and today. Planning on 2 more swi sessions tomorrow and tues. Give it our best shot!

OK 5 days in to 2ww and not going so well at not symptom spotting.

Honestly even exaggerating every symptom I haven't much to say except I'm REALLY tired. TBH that could be work - end of term reports, test marking, shows, moving classrooms, getting head round new class all happen at once!

Mrs Cog, not sure I can help as I feel like that all the time! (I cried at the fairyjobmother the other day, no idea why!!!) but a but of SWI can't hurt Hope you feel better soon.
