Do we have any testers this week?

I have bought some cheapo ovulation testers. Are they any good? I keep using and them and don't seem to be getting much from them. The test line appears but nothing else. Will a second line be really clear if the test is positive or what?

DH had me testing yesterday (pregnancy) as I could not stop peeing from saturday evening. I got up four times on sat night, was in and out of loos all day yesterday just constantly peeing. I tested and obviuosly it was negative. I am only on day 17 of my cycle.
I have to start the progesterone in the morning. I don't suppose there will be any point using the ovulation testers now as I think it may affect the reading. Does anyone have any ideas if it would or not?

I had OV kits and i think the line had to be darker than the test line. they were good though and definitly worked.

I am doing fine here apart from this peeing thing. It may just be the cold weather.
I will just have to see how things develop here as I will not be able to rely on any ovualtion kits. Hopefully the progesterone will get my eggs working properly and I will start to ovualte for the correct amount of time rather than endlessly as suspected. I have got my head round it now so hopefully things will improve.

Dp got the xmas deccy's up this weekend (big kid that he is) and so far ds2 has'nt touched the tree (much) .
Poor little man had a rough day yesterday. Running through the kitchen, tripped and landed face first onto the lino floor (with his dummy in his mouth). He split the little bit of skin that holds lips to gums, bruised his gum and lots of blood. His gums gone a very pretty dark purple colour. As always though, he's happy as anything. Tooths not wobbly (thank god) and his appetite is still as voracious as ever . Hopefully that'll be the last accident before xmas!

Just off to bed but couldn't not post to say...

AWWWWWW, POOR HK DS Is he okay now Hun? Poor little mite. I hope it all gets better soon. Give him a big kiss from Aunty Coathanger for me XXX

Mygirl- He'll be 20 mths on the 1st Dec. Can't believe how good he's been with them. We've only got tinsel, lights and a few baubles on the tree and so far he's only stroked them.
Managed to get a good look at his mouth. Bruising's gone right down and tooth looks fine! [relieved expression] .
Back later, off to take more painkillers and grab another heat pad.

Got my next scan on Thursday this week (i'll be 10wks6 days)with the NHS, then i have one private one, purely so we have an actual 12 wk one, and can get the baby on video.

CH - headache is better today, well for now, I felt awful last night, went to bed at 7.15pm and got up at 6.30 this morning, had a good sleep. Hope you are having a good sleep and staying warm and cosy in bed.

Hk - poor little mite, i bet he was very sad after that. Hope he's ok now, and that you are doing ok.

sorry havent been on for a little while have just been feeling really low and sorry for myself but am feeling a little better now HK big hugs to your ds my little one who is 17 months was up my mums and he slipped on the bottom step and bit through his tongue although it was only a tiny puncture wound the amount of blood was shocking!!! He is ok now though hasnt stopped him eating everything in sight or choppsing away lol

I managed to get a couple of hours sleep but could do with some more, but now have DS3 to see to so nomore bed for me til tonight

HK - glad your DS is a bit better now And bless hin just stroking baubles. I'm dreading putting mine up. They actually were taken down again last year before xmas coz the boys were norty and I said xams would be cancelled in our house if they didn't behave.
