Morning! Is anyone else testing today?

Coathanger · 29/10/2005 08:31

Well, Maddyd, you're not the only one

BFN here too.

There is nothing on the test! A poor lonely little single line, no pal for tit to play with. However much I stare at it and study it< i can't see an thing there! Not even an evap line....

HumphreysCorner · 29/10/2005 08:32

Just get on with it!

HumphreysCorner · 29/10/2005 08:33

Sorry about the BFN's Maddyd and CH

A Honeymoon baby sounds so romantic though Maddyd

Still hope CH, hope af stays away.

maddyd · 30/10/2005 07:56

Hey goed we killed this thread yesterday didnt we. How you doing today Coathanger, hope your not feeling too despondant.

I feel fab today, af has arrived and im eally pleased for loads of reasons. One is i was worried it would take a couple of months like the last mc. Two is its my hen day/night so i can get bladdered and most importantly it means i am most fertile the 4 days up to when we go away so can get lots of bding in for conception before we go and i wont be worrying about the flights and when we can next bd as no doubt we will be knackered on arrival plus setleing kids may take a few days. So then we can bd relaxing cos we want to and love each other and not cos we have too. Does that all make sense.

spub · 30/10/2005 08:09

Maddyd - Glad AF is doing something useful for you and good luck with that honeymoon baby.

CH - Aaaaw.Bugger. I'm soooooo sorry, mate. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. It's awful when you've just got a teeny bit of hope and then it doesn't look like it's enough.

I'm gonna bounce between boards as I certainly don't feel like leaving you guys. Hope you have an ok day..

Hi to everyone else, too.
Strike 1 - I was just thinking about you yesterday - nice to see you posting. How are you?

Coathanger · 30/10/2005 09:20

Morning all!

I hope its as sunny where you are as it is here in Kent!

Maddyd -I am so glad AF has worked out well. You are right about the BDing on honeymoon - you get so caught up in the reason for BDing that sometimes you forget you should be enjoying it. On holiday it will be back to the fun of it! XXX

Spub - Hi! How ya doing? I Still have a eeny-weeny bit of hope. I'm waiting for Tuesday to see what AF does. XXX

I didn't think I was too upset by the bfn yesterday, but as it happens I was. The whole business abouthis being my last chance got a bit too much to bare. AND everyone in town, when I went shoppnig yesterday, seemed to have new babies. It all got too much.
I just can't believe my bad luck. I really think someone has got it in for me...

wannabump2006 · 30/10/2005 12:41

Maddyd:that makes perfect sence hunny!I'm so pleased your af arrived and you can now concentrate on your hen night(have a GREAT time by the way!),and jetting off for your wedding safe in the knowledge that you know exactly where you are in your cycle and you can really enjoy your time away!.x
I really hope you come back with good news
When do you go,and when do you come back mads?will be thinking of you,and keeping everything crossed for you too!!.xshelley.x

strike1 · 30/10/2005 15:18

Hey all.

Thanks Spub, I'm doing ok thanks, I seem to be over analysing every twinge at the moment and I'm not even pg! But I've decided to stop trying to stop myself being a little obsessed and just accept that it's natural. Should be oving today but my persona machine hasn't given me the ov sign so who knows what's going on!

How are you doing anyway Spub, keeping extra specially well I hope?

Maddyd, when is the big day? And when are you off on Honeymoon?

Wills · 30/10/2005 18:31

Found you peepee. Wanted to ask if you'd ever been tested to see if you're allergic to your dh's sperm? My cousin had a series of miscarriages but as she worked as a nurse at Kings Hospital she found out about a new piece of research that showed that some women are allergic. They got themselves onto a trial run which basically de-sensitised her to him (for an unknown period) which would allow the featus to implant and settle to a point where it would no longer be rejected by mum. After 7 miscarriages she now has a 2 year old girl and a 3 month old baby boy. Was just wondering if anyone had offered this test to you?

Maddyd - I'm sorry, I hadn't seen you go from the other thread at all. I've not been on mumsnet enough - really really sorry.

To everyone else. Hi all, am now 11 weeks but having nasty twinges on rhs so am worried. But as dh has correctly pointed out... I worry if I have twinges/pain and I worry if I don't. Still its nice to know there's such a lovely group to come back to if it goes wrong cos I'm really going to need picking up. Carry on BDing everyone!

Coathanger · 30/10/2005 21:23

Hi Wills! Its good to hear from you. I'm sure the pain is just growing and stretching. At 11 weeks your uterus should be beginning to grow out of your pelvis and be pushing things out of the way, so it is probably that you are feeling. You sound like me though, I worry about not having anything to worry about! Hope everything continues to go well XX

So, where has everyone been this weekend? Its been very quiet, even for a weekend. Have you all been up to fabby things? Hope you will all be around tomorrow for me to chat to. I've been very bored and lonely (boo-hoo!! Sob!)

Coathanger · 31/10/2005 07:37

Good morning everyone!

I can't believe I'm the first to post today. I am normally a late comer in the week! Where are you all????

Mumswish - did you test at the weekend? Or did AF arrive?

Diddle · 31/10/2005 07:55

Coathanger - So sorry about your BFN, please don't give up hope, this might not be your last chance, you never know what the future holds, maybe having a break from it and not thinking about it, will relax your body and let that little baby cling on

Coathanger · 31/10/2005 07:59

Yeah, we'll see how things pan out, Diddle.
