Hi Panashe sorry Sad XXXX as others have said at least your body is regular with AF arriving. After Georgie my af arrived exactly 4 weeks to the day but i ve read stories where it can take months for periods to start again.I am constantly amazed by the human body especially mine.

Hi lol how you doing?

Hi Gum testing buddy...how you doing??? Any more testing?????

Diege yeh to "Heat" love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! My letter will only take you about oh 3 seconds to read!!!!!!! You ok???

Hi BB any testing yet?

Hi to all; Much and Hippy sorry if i ve missed anyone Grin

Re tested today line darker.I m not getting excited and only told , obviously,Ant and my mum but thats it.Its another 7-8 days before i m due my af and don t want a big fuss to have another cp.[we ve got a plan of action though if i have another cp i m going to contact my consultant to see about something to thicken my linning is it progesterone i need???] I have felt very tired with headaches and quite nasueaus at times over the last 2-3 days but think a lot of it is due to stress and thinking about returning to work.

But we ll see.Whatever i m again, incredibly impressed by my body and its need to get pg asap.Big fx for my liitle egg to cling on for life Grin

But sssshhhh......keep it quiet don t tell anyone else.[hopefully none of the "post grads" are looking at this thread at the moment.

brokenbarrenbrook · 24/02/2011 14:33

oooo am lurking, but I'm not old enough to play with the big kids yet, just couldn't leave without saying a quiet congrats louisesh promise I won't tell!

SamanthaB123 · 24/02/2011 14:47

OMG Louise!!!! Was just randomly surfing mn and saw your post! Bloody hell that's just fab. I won't say a word...but I know a lot of people who are going to be so, so delighted. Oooh, this is wonderful!

BeattieBow · 24/02/2011 15:42

OMG Lou that's fantastic news! fingers and everything else crossed here. and another success for the SMEP - gives us all hope!

gum so sorry this issue won't go away for you and sorry for your bfn too.

diege hope you're LP hangs on a little bit longer. this is one reason why I don't temp anymore -I'm happy in my ignorance. Wow to a 2.5 hour commute! How often do you do that? Perhaps I'm being selfish by considering moving house to cut down my commute (one of the reasons anyway).

No testing here, only around 3dpo anyway so wouldn't expect any signs, and in fact I don't think I get any anyway until I'm around 6 weeks pg. But feel I dtd enough this month anyway which is all i can do.

Diege · 24/02/2011 16:29

Wow Lou what fab news Grin The line getting stronger is an excellent sign too. Everything crossed for an uneventful 9 months!
BB I think moving to cut down on a commute is an excellent reason for doing so. Your quality of life will def improve, as mine did for the short time I got the lift in and back with colleague. My commute is ok, just the early start (6is) a pain - a bus and two trains each way (so 5 hr round trip) but only done 3 days a week (mon-wed) as wfh on the Thursday. The real pain is the 30 min wait between connections, though the station has a good Costa which makes it bearable! Tbh I never really minded it until I've had the luxury of the car trip with colleague - now it seems quite a grim prospect!
Lou's news has cheered me up no end. If we get bfps at a rate of one a month even we'll all get there sooner or later!

randomimposter · 24/02/2011 16:59

odd - just posted and it disappeared.

anyway, quickie, but WHOOP WHOOOP for lou, BRILLIANT news... be back later xx

TinaO99 · 24/02/2011 17:04

hooray for louise!!!! good on you, hope a few more of us follow your good luck :-)

TipTopTank · 24/02/2011 17:39

Diege 5 hours commuting a day and 4 young kids - you are superwoman Shock

BB I commuted across to Glasgow for a winter once - it's less than an hour, and it made me permanently knackered and miserable - and I was childless and young then... On Tuesday, we had b'fast of "artisan bread" in a posh coffee shop in Marylebone High St, wandered down to China Town for lunch, and then browsed the shops in Convent Garden before strolling down the South Bank.. which was full of yum mums with their Bugaboos hanging out at the Imaginate fesitval ... On this basis I have reappraised London, and decided it might be quite good to live there after all....

On the other hand, the Imaginate Festival comes to Edinburgh next - and posh people, students and childless couples walk to work, whilst moderately well off families think they are hard done by with anything more than a 30 minute commute... so maybe you should all come and live here...

Though I seem to remember... something niggling in the back of my mind about Hippy moving to the IOW? Grin

Lou Brilliant news - fingers and toes x-ed for you for!

Gum Think you missed your opporutnity to give him a good kick up the bottom whilst he was sleeping Angry I suppose he must be freaking out - he probably hasn't thought through how upsetting his behaviour is to you. Men - such simple creatures....

Anyway, if the bistro is open - I'll have a fresh tuna salad with asparagus; with chocolate mousse for afters... then afterwards I reckon we can all go outside to our private beach (did I not mention we had our own private tropical beach?) light a drift wood fire and roast marshmellows.

Diege · 24/02/2011 17:50

TTT bistro night is Friday!!!! I will however process your order on this occasion, in the circumsances...
I have to say I do quite like my commute (well, outward journey, return not so great). When else do I have a chance to read my mags/book, work without interruption, and have a coffee at my leisure? Grin
Still grinning about you Lou Happy days in the snug!

lia66 · 24/02/2011 18:31

Hi everyone, Still here no baby yet. Anytime after Weds we are good to go for hb so keeping legs firmly crossed till then.

lou I am so so pleased for you, this is Georgie's brother or sister I know it'll be ok for you. You so deserve it. Please let the next 8 mths be boring and cslm for you.

lolfactor · 24/02/2011 19:19

Lou what amazing news!!!!!!!!!! So, so pleased. A blue line. Isn't it a thing of beauty? There's hope for us all. Well done, and have 2 helpings of sticky bean adhesive on the house x

Diege you're scaring me. How the hell do you manage? Mind you, if the commute is the only p and q you get...

Gum I bet he couldn't have stopped if you'd said 'no'. It's awful when there's serious stuff you thought you'd sorted. My dp does the same - reintroduces stuff, leaves it hanging in the air and then says let's talk about it when we're feeling up to it. I feel like shouting, 'no - we'll talk when the smiley face says we'll talk!'

Off to buy some DHEA USA style. 75mg on my cornflakes every morning. Yum. Thanks Jolls BB Italian Hippy- and love to all x

Curlylox · 24/02/2011 20:26

Fantastic news lou I'm ecstatic for you. You brave testing now, I so want to but will wait...I think....

hopefulgum · 24/02/2011 22:36

Oh Lou I'm so excited for you! How wonderful. Like you said, you are pregnant, so enjoy it!Looks like all that hard work paid off!

I didn't even bother testing today.I just know it isn't my month. I'm expecting RTD to turn up tomorrow or the next day. I'd be surprised if it didn't turn up because I have no symptoms at all. And I've had 7 pregnancies (5 babies) and each time I could feel it before I got the bfp...

As for my DH. I don't have the heart to bring it up right now when I'm feeling sad. It'll just make everything worse, so will hold off (til after the next ovulation, perhaps!)

Deige, that's an amazing commute. I can see how the time would be great for reading, working etc, but I imagine it can get very tiring.

Curly, when do you think you'll test?

muchlove · 24/02/2011 22:48

Diege · 25/02/2011 14:28

Hello all! Get your orders ready for the bistro tonight ladies!
Two of my dcs were also St.Vals conceptions, with bfp stick put in dh's birthday card (March) each time Grin. I remember the look of dread the second time he got a bulky envelope Grin Have you worked out your due date yet Lou? (stupid question Wink.
Not heard from Hippy for a few days? Hope you're ok Smile
Temp back up again today (cd 9) so boding well for a longer lp this month. Also had a dizzy spell at exactly the same time as I did with last pregnancy, but NOT reading anything whatsoever into that.
LOve to all!

louisesh · 25/02/2011 14:56

Lou whispers " due date approx mid november but as will only be going to 37 weeks it's the week after Georgie's birthday about mid October"

But don t want to look in to it too much. It's odd as i ve read a lot of siblings being born around the birthday of their stillborn sibling.

God Ant would hate that!!!! I heard him chuntering to 1 of our cats last night "bloody piss sticks everywhere Scottie!!!" Grin

Just done a clear blue [love them] correctly says "pregnant 1-2 ".....

Off to the pub later mmm............diet cokes!!!! No i m happy to be abstaining from alcohol.I ll see you all in the snug Smile.

Oh FX Diege come on i can t be on this journey on me "owno".

louisesh · 25/02/2011 14:57

Meant Ant would hate cards with piss sticks in!!!!

OooohShiny · 25/02/2011 15:45

Hello {grin] Can I join in here

Not yet 40 but near enough for it not to be worth even attempting to hide out in any of the young threads

a bit about me.....39 (just) and only recently started 'officially' trying after 9 months of no AF after coming off DEPO. I was starting to think I'd fucked up and left everything waaay too late. But AF came back a couple of months ago and seems to be back to it's precise self although showing no signs of ovulating so far.

And so to today......AF not due till Sunday, had sore boobs for over a week now, feeling sooo tired and now today heartburn and the worst nausea ever!!

I'm too scared to test this early but the not knowing is driving me crazy waaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
