Laughed at the term statistic headfuck - so right jolly. I was told one in 4 chance when i was preg at 43 but now am thinking 50/50 - cos it's probably more realistic - BUT that means that there is just as much chance of it working out as it not working out so we must not forget that.
I think statistics are all well and good but we are real people and each embryo is different. I don't think you'll need progesterone lol - 1) it needs to be started earlier than you are and 2) IF you were to MC it would almost defo be down to a dodgy embryo (basing this on your age and the fact that you've had 3 successful pregnancies). My lovely GP is always saying to me that my body knows what to do and it's done it before and the only reason I lost the 2 pregnancies was chromosonal problems with the embryos - so NOTHING could have been done to change that. I honestly do believe that. Hang on in there, one day at a time.
Well I got the
on an OPK yesterday (freaky just how in-synch me and diege are!!) I felt rough and he felt rough too but we are dedicated to our cause and managed a surprisingly successful SWI
.
I usually get ov pains 2 days after the positive so will try again today and tomorrow - even though i feel like shit [dedicated martyr face].
I have worked out that if I ovulate when i think i will I will defo be in line for a 11.11.11 baby - how cool is that. I know that Georgie was 10.10.10 lou so I hope all this inane banter about dates isn't upsetting you (sorry if it is).
nicole sorry to hear you're emotionally drained and tired - get some sleep and then pop back for a
.
Just a quick note to the new people - there are so many of you, I'm getting confused
. I know lol is the preggers one and panache had an MC recently and is with a new man (sounds exciting). But I am confused about some of the others. Next time you post can you do a quick resume of how many kids you have and if you've had any losses (unless it makes you too sad to discuss, of course) and if you can bare to do it can you add your age please. Then I can study up and remember you all. I hate to look rude and only talk to the old timers like that bloody jolls
muchlove how are you, my dear?
I was in an oxfam shop recently and saw little home made knitted hats for prem babies. I was laughing cos I had boys with big heads (ouch) and they would never have fitted those hats on. Anyway, by the power of cyber space I have virtually bought one and virtually sent it to lunatic's little lad. Speaking of that, someone else must be coming up for a 20 week scan (she who can not be named). How are you ??
