MORNING!

Thought this would be a nice spot to chat with the TTCers that have been trying for some time. A bit of support for each other and all that!

So, grab a drink, and a barstool, and get chatting.

There's bouncers on the door, so no riff-raff, and the licence is LATE,LATE,LATE!!

Oh and loads of baby dust on tap!!

Coathanger-hark at you going round the museums trying to look intelligent! lol. Ooh. Harrods-I can only every afford to buy a pen when I go there but it is a truly, lurvely store. I once worked with a lad in the bank who used to work in the deckchair department in Harrods. Bit of a step down working in a bank methinks.

Do you think it is implantation spotting-I had never heard of this until I came on here. You will be able to start testing soon-I really hope you get a BFP then you can join me on the July thread as I am so lonely and talking to myself on there (it's that song again!).

Right, as I said on the other thread I'm off to do the ironing.

Love to all

Hi Gang,
Sorry not to have checked in since Weds am - have had no pc access til now! Am trying to catch up and failing dismally but I think I need to congratulate HC???

Hope all is well with you all. Am about to post a separate q but will seek the avice of my "homies" as DH calls you lot.

AF is due on Friday. I ov'd on Oct 15th. My boobs have been a bit full and tender (but then I am prodding them all the bloody time to check if they're tender so that might be why!) Anyway, on Friday night I noticed that a small amount of clear liquid was coming out of my nipples. Has anyone had that happen and not been pregnant? (BTW I do know it can be a sign of a brain tumour, apparently....but am not really thinking along those lines!)
Anyone???
PS I know I said I wouldn't test early but if AF is due on Friday can I try an early pg test tomorrow?

HumphreysCorner · 23/10/2005 15:03

Hi spub-thanks for the congrats. We MC at the same time and my DD is 2yrs 3months so really hoping you get a BFP. I was due on Saturday but didn't get a +ive until Wednesday but did start testing on Monday. If you have a 10iul test you could try it on Tuesday.

I get colostrum leaking out before every AF but I read that it is a PG sign. My midwife before the MC said she still produced colostrum for 5 years after stopping BF. I never BF anyway. Not heard of it being a brain tumour sign but I'm sure you can put that out of your mind.

Good luck hun and I will be watching for your testing next week.

spub · 23/10/2005 15:13

HC - Thanks and congrats again!

Sooooo pleased for you. It's a long road!
Will try to wait until Weds/Thurs to test.
Am trying not to get too hopeful....

peepee · 23/10/2005 18:49

Good evening amigos.....
What are you all up to then?
We have just had a roast feast!

Am now waiting for the rhubarb, apple and blackberry crumble to finish cooking(homemade)

It's quite good when the stepkids are here cos they do all the washing up and hoovering for me. (is that cruel?) They have to learn.. We all had to do it! I think kids have got it too easy. They come in plonk themselves down infront of the TV and expect to be served on! Needless to say it doesn't happen in this house.

CH hows the spotting going? Are you going to be able to wait until the 1st to day a test? Go on do one now!

I am keeping my fingerscrossed for this month. DH and I have been at it constantly. He thinks it's great. Typical man! He's not interested in the reason for it. Mind you I have no idea about ovulation etc. I just make sure we BD from day three after the end of AF right thru for 10 days. It's worked in the past.

Anyway, WAKING THE DEAD is on tonight. Parts of the last one were filmed down the road from me in Ealing..... OOooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh

Lets not forget the last of MONARCH OF THE GLEN.

Going to check on the crumble.... back soon x

maddyd · 23/10/2005 19:07

Coathanger · 23/10/2005 20:05

Night ladies

Have just posted on the other thread that I am having 'orrible shooting and crampy pains-only 4 weeks so surely shouldn't be having pains like this. Am now fearing the worst-again!

Did any of you watch Afterlife last night as I didn't understand the twist?

Coathanger · 23/10/2005 22:10

HC - try and relax, hun. I had a lot of pain ing all my pregnancies, even as early as 4 weeks. I think its all the stretching and moving thats going on in there. And I swear blind that the more kids you have, the more noticable the pains are in subsequent pregnancies (if that makes sense) just ike after pains are worse with subsequent births. You know what to do if you are worried - get yourself an appt with EPU. Its the only way you can reassure yourself. Keep positive, sweetheart, and make sure you take it easy, relax as much as possible. I'm thinking of you and praying that all is well. XXXX

Diddle · 24/10/2005 07:33

HC - whats happening? anys news? I had aches and pains, nothing very strong, but still worrying, and all is ok. If it gets so painful i would seriously get yourself off to the hospital, better to be safe than sorry. Lottie had bad pains, and still has got them and they ahve told her it is because of a cyst she's got, so t coudl be anything. Don't worry.

Diddle · 24/10/2005 08:22

what an absolutely rubbish weekend. have tried to rest up as much as i could. Had another big knock saturday night, my grandad passed away, as some of you will remember he has been in and out of hospital for quite some time, and this time had been in for 8 wks, getting infection after infection. But he had a good life, he was 84 and has been heart broken since nan died last January, so now hopefully he wis back with her.
Doesn't make it any less upsetting, but hopefully thats the end of the bad news for me this year.

HellKat · 24/10/2005 08:31

Morning all.
great title!
Hope everyone's well.
Diddle- So sorry to hear about your Grandad {{{{{hugs}}}}}}}
Hc- Hope your pains have gone.
Here's to sticky beanie glue and baby dust for all.
Hi to everyone else x

Diddle · 24/10/2005 08:43

thanks HK - not sure whats going on this year, its a horrible one.
How are you today?

HumphreysCorner · 24/10/2005 08:48

Morning ladies

Diddle-I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandad. I lost mine at 7 and 13 years old and it is so upsetting. Hope you are OK PG wise. ((xx))

Lottielou-how's you this morning? ((xx))

It is persistently raining here today-yuk! My pains seem a little better today. Coathanger-I read last night about pains being more noticable with subsequent pregnancies so hope it's just that. No point phoning EPU at 4 weeks as I'm sure they would tell me there is nothing that can be done. Got an appointment at the migraine clinic on the 2nd Nov (the surgery are stopping my wonderful life saving migraine tablets as they are too costly and are trying another not so strong or expensive brand-grrrrh!) so will make an appointment with the midwife then-will be 6 weeks hopefully.

Morning HellKat-has the evil one left yet? ((xx))

Going to do not a lot today as perhaps I overdid it Christmas shopping on Friday-felt really dizzy at the time because of the heat in the shops.

Hello to everyone else and have a good day.

Bye for now
