does milk settle it? I found that whenever I was sick (different reasons) milk calmed my stomach down. Does that help with you?

babybloos · 19/10/2005 09:58

hi diddle, what is m/s? I am still a bit behind in the lingo.

Hi everyone else too, hope you are all ok. I hate the start of af, can drag on sometimes

babybloos · 19/10/2005 09:59

I know what you mean mygirl. Everytime I hear someone has a BFP it reminds me that it is possible. Although I havent been ttc as such yet, the mc really put me off wanting to try cos it hurt so much to lose it.

Sorry to hear you've all got colds but good news on the car!

Diddle · 19/10/2005 10:55

babybloos - we have started a new thread for those of us that have been on the thread for 5 or 6 months, so that we can have a good chat. We've got to become really good friends and have experienced so much together, we wanted to have somewhere we could stay together and chat as well as on this thread.

speak to you soon. Enjoy your walk

Coathanger · 19/10/2005 11:54

Hello you guys!

You've all been chatting far too much for me to catch up! Feeling lazy and fat today. Just scoffed and early lunch of a hot sausage roll (the bread variety) and a choccie cake! Already piling on the punds, but who cares!? Not me..... well, not at the moment ....I will in a weeks time when I'm saying ""boohoo, I've put on 20 stone!!"

Went to take my lovely new car into the dealers to have some scratches removed off the bonnet, and have been given a poxy little Pluriel as a courtesy car! Courtesy? -its an insult!!! I can't get 3 kids in a pluriel! It only has 2 seatbelts at the back!!

BUGGER!

Diddle · 19/10/2005 12:01

Hello CH - oooo sausage roll sounds scrummy, i've got sardines on toast. Fancy giving you a diddy little car with your family, can't you request a bigger one? how long will they have the new one?

last sunday my car died on me so i bought and fitted a new battery and spark plugs, cleaned them through it worked for a day then my dp took it to football where it had to be jump started, and i tried yesterday and completley dead. damn will now have to take it to some garage who will see me coming and try to charge me double cos im a lady ggrrrr

babybloos · 19/10/2005 14:22

hey everyone... mumswish it hasn't sunk in yet and trying to not be toooo excited. Thanks for asking, I hope you and everyone else who is trying gets bfp's asap.

I did another test just to make sure and line is darker so hopefully good sign, i wish there was a simple pee test to let you know everything was ok. we would be mental though and be doing several a day i am sure!! i've got huge sore boobs, dh very happy and a bit of m/s too, and peeing all the time!

Hope everyone with colds recovers soon. xx

mumswish · 19/10/2005 14:37

glad to hear your doing well babybloos!

Coathanger · 19/10/2005 14:38

Have you heard anything for mthe doctor yet MW?

mumswish · 19/10/2005 14:39

no they said to ring back on Friday for some results. Wish they could tell me cos its panicking me abit. I'm convinced that if I am pg then its ectopic or somethings wrong. If I'm not pg then I dont know what it is

Coathanger · 19/10/2005 14:42

I'm still sure it is an infection. You are showing classic signs. Try not to worry, it will only make ou feel worse (I'm onr to talk aftermy smear shock)

Oh, speaking of smears, Mumswish, I was reading up on them last night and you are right, you won't be called to have one til you are 24, BUT you should have one within a year of becoming sexually active. So its a case of what comes irst. I hate to tell you this but you should have a smear asap too.

mumswish · 19/10/2005 14:45

I tried that cos I've been sexually active for 3 years now but they wont give me one till I'm 25. Its strange. I told doc when I went to say i wanted to try and have a baby that I thought I should have a smear and he said they dont it till 25 now as theres no medical evidence that one before makes any difference
