hi HC, thanks for your congrats. My af was due yesterday and I did the test first thing!! a bit of a shock but not too much as felt a bit pg. I had done 2 early tests, 7 and 10 days after ovulation on 8th and 11th, this is when they said it should work, and they were both neg!! I have to play the waiting game now...... What is happening with you?

I cant go get an appointment till the end of the week now. Receptionist at the docs said its not worth seeing the doc until the tests were back as he cant prescribe anything in case i'm pg and he cant tell me the cause of anything as he doesnt know till hes tested these things. So, I've been told to act as tho I'm pg until they know for definate. No alcohol abuse (i dont anyway but still not fair) and no pills except paracetamol. i'm gonna be really gutted if I'm not now cos I've been acting as tho I was. You know what I mean?

Anyway. I've got loads of choc and a can of fanta now so I'm happier. WHats everyone else upto today?

Babybloos have you told anyone except us yet? Whats your DH said?

hi mumswish, really feel for you and glad you have at least stocked up on the chocolate

i know the feeling about having to think you are pg and then maybe not being....it is such a stressfull time and a wee glass of wine would ease the pressure but not allowed. I don't mind giving up everything for my baby but I hope it all works out for us all.

I have told dh, I put the test in his book yesterday morning, as it was our 2nd wedding anniversary, and I told him to go and chill out and read his book!! He is happy but as nervous as i am about the prospect of another mc. I think he does have the male shallow trait of being chuffed that he has managed to get me pg again!! I am not telling anyone this time as we did last time and i hated having to tell everyone we had mc, even though it was just close family I still hated doing it

I know the feeling, I told everyone I was pg and when I mc'd watching their faces drop and listening to them say how sorry they were for me was terrible. It made me even more upset than I was anyway.

I understand the man trait. I was told by DF that he has super sperm. Cos I was on the pill when he got me pg. LOL

babybloos-due on Saturday-BFN's yesterday & today. Used ultra early yesterday and will use one tomorrow then wait until Saturday I think.

I told a few people last time but not my MIL as it would have been round the town. If I ever fall again then I will not tell anyone!

i had to tell mil at 6 weeks as we stayed with her for a week.....i am sure she stressed me out so much that it didn't help me!! I had to get my dh to tell the people who knew as i couldn't deal with the sympathy. it is enough to go through it pysically at the time without the mental stuff as well.

i hope your tests hc are as reliable as my early ones and turn out to be wrong. How do you feel? I was starting to get quite emotional and sickly and tired and cold a few days before. some of these are af symptoms and i was sure af was coming when i had cramps on sunday but bfp on mon?!

oh, i hope you get a bfp, fingers crossed for you.

Yep, got all those symptoms and never been so cold in my life. Also had the temper from hell last week, poor DH. However, the cramp pain has increased and feels more like AF type cramps now so will see. I believe my tests are wrong every month so keep changing brands-I should really get the message-lol!

wow hc, that sounds exactly like me last week. Freezing and whacked in eve! I really felt like af was coming on Sunday. I really hope you get a bfp soon. have you got an early test to take tomorrow or will you wait until sat?

3 Acon tests arrived today from Ebay (10 iul sensitivity) so will do this in the morning and then wait until Saturday.

Will keep you all posted.

hey girls what do you think?

We've been looking at somewhere to rent cos we cant afford a mortgage (well we can but we cant get a high enough mortgage to buy a house. make sense?) My auntie was saying she knows someone who can sort out a mortgage where we dont declare the amount we earn, just how much we can repay. Does this sound dodgy? or do you think it may be a good idea if we look for a cheap but nice house? or should we stick to the flat we're in now and decorate?

mumswish-as a banker I would strongly advise you to stay away from these so called mortgage brokers and their highly irregular fees added onto the amount borrowed so you pay interest on the fees for the term of the mortgage. If Banks and Building Socities have reviewed your financial abilities and made recommendations accordingly then anyone willing to lend you more money without checking affordability should be shot!

've thought about it and decided that unless we can find a cheap house that falls into our price bracket of £73k we aint getting one yet. In the meantime we're gonna stay where we are and decorate abit. Buy new cooker and sofa and be happy! Theres no rush.

Mygirl - I dont think my boss will be kidnapped. Shes too loud!! LOL but the doc and tony blair sounds good. I've still got a bit of choccie left which you can have wapping it over via cyberspace

Hurray!!!....my af has finally arrived,has been exactly 4 weeks since the worst part of my m/c,then it kinda tailed off from there.
Am just soo glad tht its finally arrived!its having the sence of normality i guess and knowing what my body is up to!!
So plan from here onwards is to monitor this period and then have another one,then ttc starts!!(thats if i can hold out to have another period!)Do you think its a bad thing that i should just have one af!?I'm really at two minds whether to wait for 1 af or 2? OH!!I DON'T KNOW!!Am just dead happy to have my af!!!(i'm normal!!!).x.x.x

I know!!I tell you i'm so tempted,but i'm really scared too!!I kinda got put off abit for awhile,i guess because the m/c was so soon after my stillbirth
But as the days go on and especially as my beloved AF has arrived,i'm starting to think,'right!i'm gonna beat this bout of bad luck,and i WILL get that baby i want so badly!!'.
Dh isn't so sure,he def wants me to wait 2 cycles cos i think the m/c scared him abit!so i've told him he'll have to have super strong sperm and get my preg on the first month trying!!!!That would mean i would find out if i am preg or not close to new years eve!!!...how good would that be!

My dh is a pillar of strenght for me and rarely shows his feelings he worries more about looking after me,and how i'm coping!(bless!),than himself.x
Its just great to feel 'normal'!
I went into work again today for acouple of hours,trying to get myself used to it!Saw more people that i hadn't seen for ages and told them about the m/c,they were gobsmacked!,i hate having to tell people,feel like they think there is something wrong with me

I'm off now to sort the dinner out,dh trying his best to fix his car,but hasn't got a clue!(not good!),back later.x.x.x
