Ahh aren't you 2 good!

Will carry on testing - only got 7 sticks in my pack so looks like i will have to buy some more!
Once i know when i ov is it likely to be the same time each month?

Twiggs LOL at your frozen bum - i've got a feeling that when i do finally become Pg i'll one of these wosses that will get horrible backache right from the start and everyone that see's me moaning will wonder whaton earth i am moaning about

Anyway, Quacks, try not to worry - at least you haven't got a freaky employee who looks like you've jsut threatened to wipe out her whole family every time you talk to her! Just don't know how to deal with her - the words big and knife come into mind

Oh Twigs, I always get back ache in pg. Not really bad but very uncomfortable!!! Need to lie down a lot - what a shame eh!!!!! I get sore hips too early on. Doc says it's muscles relaxing! You'll be all wet form the ice pack though I bet!!!
Thanks for the info so I would get LH about the time of all the twinges so expect a temp shift tommorw or day after then, v latest day after that! Thanks Twigs, handy book yeh got there!!
Jems, God are queens of panick or what!! Bet it;s not helping!! Keep going girl, if your cycles are diff each month then ov will be diff each month, that's why testing is so good!!!

quackers · 10/09/2003 11:37

Jems, tell us about it chuck!

Jemma7 · 10/09/2003 12:22

this is my second month of ttc for no. 2 (ds 2 and 1/2). first time using sticks but bought boots (WISH i'd checked the mumsnet conception thread first) and hate the waiting til middle of the day, same time of day, no fluid for 2hours etc etc. am tempted to just ditch them and buy clearplan. i am day 11 and no surge yet. should i be humping anyway? i am new to all this having very luckily got pregnant immediately with ds and v worried about egg white as i don't have it - it is just wetness! also dh very sniffy bout whole thing as has been saying for last 2 years that we don't hump enough, now that we've decided to try for no2 i have gone from sublime to ridiculous but only for a few days each month. trying not to let it stress me as i know this will ruin our chances. when or if i get a surge how soon should we start humping and for how long??
thanks!

Jemma7 · 10/09/2003 14:47

I am still waiting for my surge but i do know this much..........
When you get your surge you need to get bd'ing straight away because you ov with 36/48 hours after the surge!
It's just a case of waiting for your surge

Hi madgirl, well the wet stuff comes just before the egg white, so don't worry. Also I have never noticed it until yesterday which funnily enough is when my persona says I'm notovg!! All the other times I've got pg first month and not noticed any cm, some people don't get it noticably, other vary from month to month. It's not the only sign. Temp taking and an ov keit like clearplan is perfect for dtecting LH surge and confirming ov after by rise in temp!! I would start bd'g about day 11 and go through to day 17 ( if u ov day 14 ish) and do it every other day if poss. Best time tho as Jems/Twigs says, right when u get LH!!!!! Don't panick, we'll be here to help u along!!

madgirl · 10/09/2003 15:15

Blimey, I was stressed already about the potential 3 and ½ year gap between ds and no. 2 ? if I had to wait 18 months that?s even worse. I hope that?s not the case. I just feel that any longer will mean that we won?t be one big family as much, or maybe that is just my yearning for another child taking over. Thanks twiglett for the advice and welcome. More importantly congrats! I saw your oh?my?good thread.
Do you think the boots sticks are that reliable? They just seem a bit dependant on you being quite strict with time of day/not drinking for 2 hours.

quackers · 10/09/2003 15:17

Don't like boots, they're not really rated much here cos of the wee holding scenario! I have a 3yr old dd now and desperatly want some company for her too! I have had no trouble conceiving ( so far) just holding on to them, that's why I'm here. Don't worry, there's lots of graduates from here all the time, cos we all support and advise each other!!!!
