I'm in completelty the same boat as you muddypaws (except I want a BFP). I've had 2 tests with lines so faint, I think it might just be the shadow of where the line should go. I did a clear blue digital test, and it said Not Pregnant, although it says you should test on the first day of your missed period, so it must be less sensitive than First Response.
I guess we'll just have to try again tomorrow and see what it says.
I hope things work out for you (what ever the result).

muddypaws24 · 21/01/2011 22:11

its awful isnt it.you just want to know one way or another. You say about where the line should go but how comes i didnt have one when i tested last saturday? so confusing but in away its made me think more about having a baby and i think i would be quite happy if i was after all ive put myself through all this stress why shouldnt i be happy so i hope in a way i am now!best of luck x

Yeah! I'm with you...I just want to know..YES or NO! It sounds like this wait might be a good thing for you though, if its made you realise that you might want a baby afterall. What's your situation? Are you in a relationship?

muddypaws24 · 21/01/2011 22:46

yeah it kind of wakes u up and give u a kick up the arse!
Not in a relationship thats the bad thing i told the bloke i could be preg he was fine at first then come wednesday when i told him about test he freaked out and i havent heard from him? :/ but i have my own house good job etc i have friends and my mother would help me out (after freaking at first lol)so im in kinda a good place but when are you ready for a baby i guess! Im only 24 though. how about yourself?

I'm a few years older than you, just turned 29. I'm a newly wed, and my husband and I have been "not trying, but not trying not to" since we got married (but last month it turned more into trying). Tested again this morning (AT 4AM COS I COULDN'T SLEEP!!!)- I got the same faint line- and now all the tests have a stronger line, but apparently you can't look at them past the time limit.

muddypaws24 · 22/01/2011 13:14

yeah i was awake until got 4am was sat up at 3am with a bloody cupa soup in bed :/ bad times lol

aww congrats on the wed i hope it all works out for you!

I was talking to my friend this morning who is pregnant and she said she would always read her test after the test starts to dry as the colour (if any) will try and you can see it better??

i looked at my tests again this morn and there is defo colour on each that you can see.
im going to re-test again tomorrow morning i was going to today but thought be strong and wait.i just feel soooooo tired :(

with your tests you said they have a stronger line? do you mean the ones you have done already? x

Yeah, the old tests in the bin all had a line- but I did take a fresh one this morning, and that had a more visible line on it- so am less confused now. I must be testing too early.
I must admit, I've gone a little test crazy over these last couple of days. So much so, that the guy at Superdrug has started to recognise me!!! I've spent an absolute fortune too. I'd hate to think what sort of profit these companies make on each test.

muddypaws24 · 22/01/2011 17:39

i cant understand why it seems to take awhile to show up do you think it is because we are testing to early cuz when they are left to dry it does seem to show up more so surely if we didnt have any hcg (think thats the word) then it wouldnt make a coloured line at all right?
aww thats quite funny the guy will know you buy name soon hehe bless ya.which of the superdrug tests are you using?i got the pinky pack with the two tests in dont know if there any good but hey :/ i refuse to spend alot thats why im waiting a couple of days at a time but i know how you feel all you wanna do is test away!

I've used everybrand this week. Got my firt 'hint' of a line with a Clearblue test (the one with the cross), then tried Clear blue digital (and got a -ve response), then tried First Response and now I'm using the Superdrug pink pack with 2 tests in it. The superdrug one seems to be as sensitive as the others, the CB digital seems to be the least sensitive.

Georgimama · 23/01/2011 08:39

I've always found all brands, from the two quid wilkos jobs to the super expensive £15 clearblue digital the same in accuracy. You need to be late and you need to use your first wee of the day to get a definitive, clear result. You can get a clear result at any time of the day, but to get a result you can be sure of, you need early morning wee.

muddypaws24 · 23/01/2011 18:41

well i done anoher test first thing again had a very faint line appear but come up about half hr after i just dont know i wanna forget about it but its not that easy.i may try one of the digi tests do you think its worth a shot? ninunina let know if you get a faint line with s-drug 2pack after the 10min mark? cuz thats the ones im using.x

Hi muddypaws, I've been getting a faint line with the superdrug ones, but it comes up after 2/3 minutes or so. The line does get stronger with time, but its there within the time frame. Do you see anything at all in the first 10 minutes? Try again in a couple of days (if you can resist the tempation). If the line is faint on the superdrug ones, I doubt the digital test will test positive just yet.

muddypaws24 · 25/01/2011 11:13

hiya ninunina,any up date?
yeah im sure i see the lines before the times up but it just seems to get darker.Im going to be strong and hold out until the end of the week to test again and see what happends then going to get myself off to the docs next week i guess.x

Heya, I'm still doing 1 test a day, and each day they seem to be a bit stronger, and come up a bit quicker. I've booked an appointment to see my GP on Friday. I've got quite a few symptons now. I'm feeling progessively more sick everyday, and today my boobs pretty much doubled in size over the span of a few hours.

I'm pretty sure you're pregnant, probably a few days less than me. How are you feeling about it now that its starting to sink in?

ModelMom · 25/01/2011 22:15

Hi Ninunina what symptoms were you having prior to your bfp? xxxx

Ninunina · 26/01/2011 19:51

Hi ModelMom, my first symptom was nausea from the day before I got the faintest hint of a line last Thursday. I also had a slightly sore breasts.

ModelMom · 26/01/2011 22:12

Any sign of a bfp yet hun x
