hi, this is probably a weee bit early for some ppl, but im waiting til end of this month to ttc (the desperation, brooding over other peoples babies and feeling jealous of pregnant women , thinking of names and waiting 2 symptom spot kicks in)

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Congrats broody, fabulous news.
AF arrived on Boxing Day for me.
I'm just popping on to say goodbye for now - have been on these boards too much and obsessing a bit, so am going to try a more relaxed approach for a while and try to forget I'm trying iyswim! DH and I aren't in a hurry for a little one (although it would be lovely!) so we're going to enjoy TTC for a bit without worrying. Just didn't want to disappear without explaining.

Awww Gobolino sorry to hear that I do understand totally where you are coming from. I think these boards, although great support, can sometimes fuel our obsession!! I have felt the need to step away for a while too when it's not helping.

Good idea to just relax a bit with the TTC, I'm sure it will happen for you, probably when you least expect it!!

I had a nosy, that does look very similar, fingers crossed it's all pointing in the right direction

I've been trying out my ovulation sticks this month, so got a positive today, sounds daft but it's quite reassuring, as it's holiday time DH and I are SWIing away madly over the last couple of days, trying not to get too hopeful about this month, but it would be very sad if we had to wait another month at least. Have been having all these thoughts that this might be our last xmas as just a couple, must stop thinking so much!!!

trying not to get carried away, gives me something to do while i am waiting!

just cuddling 15 mo DS to sleep (barely kept his eyes open for bedtime story!), can hardly remember him being so tiny last year, can't wait for a new wee person.

i think i am more relaxed this time, but more impatient too. didn't get time to be impatient before as i was really lucky to conceive quickly. would actually be strange if we were successful this month as i would have almost the same due date!

I'm out, AF got me today. Did OPK's this month for the first time and FF says I only had an 8 day Luteal Phase. Not good news.

Sorry mslk. Have you tempd before? That will tell you once and for all what your luteal phase length is, OPKs aren't as accurate as temping can be out by a couple of days or so, or worse completely wrong esp if you had a surge but didn't ovulate immediately. Would be horrible to be worrying unduly.

Morning. Sorry to hear about af Mslk but good luck for the next bus if you join it, and have a great time at new year.

Well obsession took over this morning and I poas . Bfn of course - far too early to test but I couldn't help myself. In my defence, I'm pretty sure this will be our last dc and I intend to enjoy being pg as much as possible, and this for me is the start of the enjoyment - the anticipation although I can totally totally see how that would turn from fun to depressing if it went on for very long.

Anyone else want to join me in admitting they poas far too early or will I hang my head on my own?

I'm moving buses, on phone so if the next person to do list could please amend for me. Good luck to the rest of you, hope to see as few of you as possible on the October journey.

Greedy, Vegas, I've been symptom spotting already and I think I only ovulated yesterday or today, got a positive on my ovi stick and some strange almost period like pressure in the right sort of area. Roll on the 2ww I guess....

Hi Raven have just ordered myself a basal thermometer so I can chart my temps and get a better picture of what's going on. Hoping having the flu has messed things up this month and it's nothing more serious than that.

TwoJack we're having a New Year party so i'm glad I can have a drink. Think I'll detox in Jan!!
