yeah the sharp pains have stopped now but my lower abdomen is still hard when pressed and swollen. Am worried about what it could be, so am glad that i am off to docs Monday.
BBS have started to get bigger as ERTD is around the corner, approx due in a weeks time!

alien your due round the same time as me.

Terry i used tescos opks this month and have been testing sometime between 5-7pm.

No symptoms at all for me,have been running to the loo an awful lot but thats cause my bladder is the size of a pea lol

Hows everyone?

ninja & alien are you still getting pains?

well after being convinced i am pg I'm now convinced I'm not cos i think I'm getting pmt. well, I'm getting v short tempered with people and i guess that happening 2 days before I'm due on could be a clue?

have to wait till Tues to find out i guess. Ho hum. it becomes incredibly disparaging after a while doesn't it. this is our 6th month of ttc and i fell pg with ds within 6 weeks of trying last time. mind you i guess that was nearly 4 years ago and now i'm 36 my chances per month get less.
still my plan is opk's next month then the docs the month after that, to get things checked. yet another good friend has had a baby in the last couple of days and next weekend i get to spend it with dp's family and his sis is pg with her first and his mum is super-clucky over her. i may have to have rather a lot of wine to get through it without killing anyone!

how is everyone else? isn't next week most af dates for people on this thread?

hey ninja, I'm due next week too and pretty sure I'm not pg also. Standard AF symptoms and no pg ones.

If it helps, I got pg with my first at 38 on the 7th month of ttc, so hang on in there.

thanks eve, I know I have to keep at it, at least i have a lot on this week so Tuesday should come round quick!
i think cos I'm sitting at home and everyone is out I have more time to dwell on the issue.
i should probably go raid the biscuit tin.

AuntFloAss yup my af is due within the next few days as previous ones were between 30-33 but no signs as yet really,but may be a month where it comes from nowhere lol

Pains have stopped now but lower abdomen still swollen, got docs tomoz so going to see if they can tell me why it has been like that as really worried about it. BFN this afternoon- was bored lol

Boo hoo...., unfortunately AF appeared last Thursday....., disappointed to say the least as I was really convincing myself that I was preggers...! And now I have to wait another 5 weeks until my partner is back from military exercise, before trying again..., still it'll be fun eh?! :)

I am finding it hard waiting. Have used 3 tests already in a really stupid, pointless, early way! On day 25 of a 24-26 day cycle so almost there. I am just going to wait now, have no more tests so just relying on absence of AF. My breasts are bigger I think, and areolas (SP?) are darker but could be my imagination. They also feel tingly sometimes, bit like the let down reflex. Again, probably making it up. Good luck everyone, it is torture isn't it. My sleep is out th ewindow as I keep waking to see if AF is here!

hello everyone. missyk5 sorry to hear that. doitorelsa good luck with waiting, hope its good news.

well i'm out for the month. af arrived just as i was going to bed last night. so i'm off to buy an opk which someone recommended on here the other day. I think i'll up my royal jelly supplements too. it says you can take between 1 and 3 a day and i've only been having 1. i thought i would feel much worse about it but i seem to be in a fairly good mood for some reason!

does anyone know how to get your body to produce more ewcm? as i get older i seem to have much less and it only last a few days on and off. are there any foods that help it increase? we've been using conceive plus as well so hopefully that helps?

mind you at least i can pack away a few glasses of wine when dp's entire family plus a couple of his aunts and uncles arrive this weekend. i think i might need it. actually thinking about it makes me feel like i need one now and its only 9am!

how's everyone else today?

doitorelsa torture is the perfect word to describe it! I am not going to test until im sure it will be positive. i def find bfns more disappointing than af arriving. I was absolutely convinced last month that i was pregnant and was baffled at the bfns i was getting so i am not putting myself through that again.

ninja i can see how you would want a glass of wine just thinking about all them visitors. A glass of wine and a headache tablet methinks!

afa there will be mil, fil, sil, bil, 1 x auntie, 2 x uncles, 3 x family friends, plus both my parents.
from friday till sunday.
and sil is pg.
and mil is mega clucky about said pg.

GOD HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankfully they aren't actually staying in our tiny flat but still.......

Ninja, you maybe don't need to worry about the ewcm if you are using Conceive Plus as I think this does the same job anyway. That is just my opinion though, could be wrong. I think Pre-seed is the sdame sort of thing but comes with an applicator so you can apply it near to your cervix. Who says romance is dead huh?? Did I hear somewhere that eating grapefruit can help produce more...?

I have just ordered some OPKs from Amazon as I thought that way I can assume AF will arrive tomorrow and I have done something positive. I am trying so hard to convince myself I am not pg but I keep catching myself fantisizing about telling people, and have to give myself a slap on the wrist I am in for such a fall!

Sorry AF got you ninja and missy. Arrived for me too today. I've bought a CBFM and plan to start charting this month so hopefully it will have some affect.

ninja i tried grapefruit juice last month (on advice from another thread) and I do think it made a difference for EWCM. It has to be 'not from concentrate' and I got it from the chill cabinet. I drank it from CD1 until after ov & I did notice more EWCM

Hi peevedeve sorry af got you too. I would go for the grapefruit juice if i actually like grapefruit but I can't stand them so i think i may just rely on more water being drunk and good old conceive plus!
Have ordered my set of ov sticks too. be interested to see if it works. maybe i have a v short viable time? or maybe i ov much later than i think i do?
any news from anyone else?

Hi, AF due today (usually when I wake up) and not here yet! Also feeling constantly sick (could be nerves) and hungry. DH buying PTK today so will do it tomorrow (if I can wait that long) if still no AF. Really trying not to get too excited...

wow well done!! you are so lucky! I am on cycle 3 at the mo, ucl 31-32 and day 32 today, boobs swollen but no sign of ERTD yet but had BFN this morning so think may be late :(

I had BFN last night. Any other symptoms? I know I am lucky, feel a bit uncomfortable about my good fortune now, but at least i struggled first time around!

Great news doitorelsa!

Its always positive when you hear someone get a good result. My ERTD is late today but got a BFN.

I would like it just to hurry up and come so I can get a fresh shot at TTC. Move it ovaries (Suffering looks disapprovingly at lady style organs!).

can anyone tell me if my cycle is a standard 28 day cycle what day would i start to use the ov sticks? and i guess you keep using them till you get a positive?

Hi,

Ninja you would start using them the day after your af stops.

Can I suggest you ignore the instructions and test twice a day as you can miss the window!

I'd do a morning and an after dinner time one!
