Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

Hi I wondered if I could join this thread. Am an old Mner but haven't been on for ages and have changed my name as I was bored. I'm not one of the famous ones though Grin

I have a 3 year old daughter and before her I had a missed miscarriage.

This time round I'm on first month of TTC, not quite sure of my CD but due on 17th Sep. Did plenty of jiggyness so hoping for BFP when time comes but also aware this is first month so don't wanna get too carried away.

Who am I kidding? I'll be poking my breasts and pretending I have heartburn before I know it.

lizandlulu · 08/09/2010 21:03

Grin wobblewatcher hiya! finger crossed we all get it sooner rahter thna later, i am due on next thurs or roundabouts and this morning felt everso slightly sick (or was it cause i had breakfast late???)

Wobblewatcher · 08/09/2010 21:06

Hiya landl

It's horrible isn't it when you are not sure and waiting to POAS...I need distraction!!

petitech · 08/09/2010 21:21

hehe it's a proper gadget I think it's name is Julia :) with a little microscope, got it on amazon... if I do start window licking though I'll now that it has all gone horribly wrong :-)

goldmaple · 09/09/2010 01:52

petitech I was on Yasmin 21 for 3 years and before that my cycles were very regular 28 days... so I haven't gone back to completely normal, or maybe 30 days is normal now.

Hi wobblewatcher! I need distraction too. AF is due on the 13th and I already POAS today... bfn:( but not surprising.

Wobblewatcher · 09/09/2010 07:08

Hello gold maple ah well, now you have to be good and wait some more, not too long to go though. I have a test in my bag and I'm very tempted but that would be very ridiculous seeing as I'm not due for another week! Do you have any symptoms?

GruffaloMama · 09/09/2010 10:21

Hi all. Sorry Goldmaple - hopefully you'll get a positive next week. Cowboylover - my AF is due on Sat too. Good luck - will be thinking of you then. I caved and tested today. BFN but will try again at the weekend if AF doesn't arrive Sad Feeling pretty low, I was sure I'd been feeling some symptoms. I felt post-ov (implantation?) cramping, nausea and bfing DS has been very tender. Nausea mostly gone now and feeling very much like I've got PMS instead.

I know it's mad to have thought it would work the first month - DS took us 14 mo to get. He was worth every day of the wait but am having a low day. I know I just need to pick myself up and get shagging but perhaps I'll let myself wallow just for today.

goldmaple · 09/09/2010 14:54

gruffalomama sorry about the bfn:( but you never know until AF shows up. I am still holding out hope (for both of us:) ).

wobblewatcher I've had several mild symptoms lots of CM, being really weepy/moody, ssore boobs, and felt sick yesterday but they are all the same as my normal pre-AF symptoms (except for feeling sick and the CM, which has stopped).

Anymore news cowboylover?

Wobblewatcher · 09/09/2010 17:26

gold maple symptoms sound promising but isn't it cruel that pg signs are similar to AF ones? Yesterday I was getting what I can only describe as an achy feeling in my ovarian area which was odd but gone today. Other than that a very dull ache right down below. Strange. Been very stressed today with my daughter's tantrums which doesn't feel conducive to baby making/growing!!

lizandlulu · 09/09/2010 17:32

well i am very proud of myself today, i walked straight past the ov tests in wilko, even though i havent got any left, i resisted the temptation to buy some. cause i am sure this is the month! (yeah rightWink)

Wobblewatcher · 09/09/2010 17:39

Well done landl positive thinking-everything crossed!

cowboylover · 09/09/2010 18:27

Well I said I would not test again til the weekend but I cheated again as it was staring me in the face this morning and we have a 2 line situation!

Its a very pale line but a line none the less so waiting til DH comes home and see what he says. No getting to over excited as I still dont believe it or think its real. Its so early

GruffaloMama · 09/09/2010 19:16

Fantastic news cowboylover. A line is a line!

Am feeling a little less blue but have had some spotting (though not my usual start to AF - way TMI, sorry). So will not assume anything and trying to hold off testing until Saturday. I did order Taking Charge of Your Fertility and a microscope thing today. So either I'll get a BFP and have wasted my money but I won't care. Or I can start the charting thing which will make me feel like I'm doing something positive. So not bad either way.

Wobblewatcher · 09/09/2010 19:18

Oh wowser cowboy lover that's great news. A line means BFP, no matter how faint. Congrats!!!!!!

cowboylover · 09/09/2010 19:32

DH just looked at it and agreed that there is defo a line now but I have remembered the dont look after 10 mins thing so maybe I should not have showed him that!

I think its a sign Gruffalo as I put my deposit down on a tattoo I have wanted for about 8 years and I will have to wait a little longer if its real!

lizandlulu · 09/09/2010 21:25

congratulations cowboylover!!!!!(smile) are you going to leave us now and join all them other threads about morning sicknessSad

lizandlulu · 09/09/2010 21:27

i am just tormenting myslef and watching some programme on home and health about women who give birth and dont even know they are pregnantShock

cowboylover · 09/09/2010 21:51

Im not going anywhere for a while!

I am worried its a evap line and been googling maddly and its not a silvery line as mentioned but a very pale pink line that DH can see as well.

I dont want to get to excited and over the top I just want to go with it and see what happens. DH said he will treat me to a Clear blue digi on the weekend if I promice to wait to do it again!

lizandlulu · 09/09/2010 21:58

well it is technically the weekend tomorrow after workGrin

Wobblewatcher · 09/09/2010 22:28

Fancy giving birth and not knowing you are preg-that could NEVER happen to me Shock

goldmaple · 10/09/2010 03:46

YAY!! cowboylover that is such great news. A line is a line! :)

I have been getting cramps... so AF is probably on the way :( early too...

lizandlulu and wobblewatcher lol... I have watched that show as well. I would think after missing a couple AFs and gaining lots of weight most people would figure it out... some people are just not intune with their bodies

gruffalomama I also have the 'taking charge of your fertility' book and love it! I used it for birth control for 6 months before TTC because I hated being on the pill. lots of usefull info!

BabsH · 10/09/2010 06:47

Good morning :)

Big congrats cowboylover will keep my fingers crossed for you for the next test on the weekend, so exciting!

I'm not testing or anything as AF is still showing no signs of arriving anytime soon!

Hope you all have a good day, I have a half day off work, so going to have a mooch around the shops in Perth, cannot wait!!!

cowboylover · 10/09/2010 20:18

Liza I went for the test at the end of the working week instead of the weekend as promiced and clue blue in words said Pregnant!

I was so shocked I called the nurse who said I could pop in and see her just said congratulations! And agreeded a line is a line!

So excited now and DH is thrilled its just so hard not to share our news with the family yet.

I will lurk for a while and good luck to you remaining x

lizandlulu · 10/09/2010 22:37
