August - first month of TTC? Join me!

Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

Well I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, you are a bit further past OV than me so I'll look forward to your bfp then mine :)

yes am not going to test until least my AF due date (30th January according to FF)

I could do with a BFP...been trying since May!

Sorry not been on for a few days. Back in the Midlands at the mo and not had a chance to get on and read your news.

Re here, no symptoms or anything, I wouldn't actually know I was pregnant at the moment except the constant wanting to eat and wee!!!! I have gone from no appetite, to not being able to stop. And fruit gums.....GOD I LOVE FRUIT GUMS!! I have had 3 large bags in 4 days!! DH trying to get me to stop eating them as he says if I carry on I'll have no teeth left in 7 months!!

Got my scan date through Saturday for yesterday, but we're not at home. Think they went off my original dates, as I would have been 11 weeks Tuesday, but I was only 10 weeks. Hoping scan is next week now. Can't wait to see more of a baby shape this time :)

Sorry,missed you off Gruff, glad your scan went lovely. Bet it's beginning to sink in a bit more now. I keep saying to DH that I am still really worried there's nothing in there even though we saw a heartbeat. I guess, until you start getting a bump, and physically seeing your body change, it doesn't quite register!

Hi Madkatz im ok, a little crampy too and have sore boobs but i always get it from OV, im only 7 dpo so still a few more days till AF due.Do you feel the same as last cycle or are the cramps different?

It feels a bit like pre AF cramps but its far too early. I'm only on CD22 and mine are normally 27. Feel better today though so who knows!

Well, got my scan date, it's this Friday, can't wait.

Also found out Saturday night when we told our close friends I was pregnant (who started trying a month after us) that she is also pregnant!! Due 4 days after me! Coincidence or what???

Bit odd as she and he didn't actually seem too excited, I even had to ask if they were. It may be because they haven't had a scan and she's not booked in to have one til she's 13 weeks, so until then, I don't think they're letting themselves get too excited.

I was a bit gutted too, as they didn't seem overly excited about us being pregnant either, even though we showed them our early scan and me a DH are so excited about us being pregnant. We were a bit pissed off if I am totally honest. I know it sounds a bit off, but it was almost as if they were envious, which they shouldn't be at all.

We told a few of our other friends too and they were screaming with excitement, which was the reaction I was expecting lol! DH told one friend in the car, and he slammed the brakes on to congratulate him and give him a handshake (I wasn't there, they were on the way to the pub to meet a friend that already knew, who also has a habit of letting things accidentally slip, so he had to tell him in the car).

So I am a bit gutted really that the 2 friends that we actually thought would be the most pleased, we ended up leaving their house with a 'fuck em' attitude :(

hiya all, sorry i have not been on for such a long time, all i want to do in my spare time then not with dd is sleep! i am absoloutly tired out, the sickness has gone off alot but appetite is still really odd. still not had any chocolate of tea

got another scan tomorrow so they can to the tests that it was to small to do on before so am looking forward to that, apart from having to go on my own
dh is too busy at work and mum cant come, just incase i am not back in time to pick up dd from school.

Thanks klou hun! I'm still in a state of disbelief I think. I'm going to test again on Friday and see if the line gets darker. Then if it is I'm going to call them docs to advise them lol. (I have an underactive thyroid so will need my medication monitoring)

I'm going to have to try and keep my trap shut now hehe! Xx

Thanks Liz. I still don't quite believe it. I'm going to test again on Friday and have some cb digitals for when my line gets darker. Not sure why I need so much reassurance!

Lou yeh I told DP. I shouted him to the bathroom (then had to go in and drag him in) and said can you see that line. He said yes and asked what it was!! Dopey so and so! I said it's a pg test. Bless him he thought I'd seen a spider.

I stood in the bathroom this morning doing an excited little dance (yeh I'm a wierdo lol)

you will feel you need reassurance till your first scan! if you are anything like me you will doubt there is anything actually in there till you see it on the scan!

Oh Iwish so excited for you!! Just ring the docs and say 'I've just found out I'm pregnant,what do I do now?' That's what I said lol :)
