Hiya,

I put August as its a little late for July!

I'm TTC number 4(!)

Due to test on the 15th August but don't think we have much chance this month as its only our first and DH has been ill for a few days and now I've got the bug, so not much romance happening!

So just wonderded if anyone is just starting TTC and wanted to join me?

Morning ladies, welcome back Liz

A lot of water pink show this morning, not like a normal AF so not sure what it is. CD24 so could be AF I suppose.

Sad
lizandlulu · 09/11/2010 12:50

hiya madkatz does you af usually start like that?

KLou111 · 09/11/2010 12:51

Maybe madKatz it's implantation :)

MadKatz · 09/11/2010 13:00

No Liz it doesnt normally start like that. Sorry if this is TMI: When I wiped after going to the loo last night the toilet paper was slightly pink. This morning its a lot more and the water in the toilet is pink /red too after I went to the loo. But its not really red and clotty like my period is normally.
I still have cramps but that could be either AF or implantation couldn't it?

lizandlulu · 09/11/2010 15:58

dont worry i dont mind a bit of blood and goreGrin

well doesnt sound like you af does it

KLou111 · 09/11/2010 16:26

I don't think it does either.....ooooooo.......excited for you. Can't wait for you to test x

lizandlulu · 09/11/2010 22:44

any further news madkatz?, i have had an ache in my left side most of the day, not wanting to read anything into it Hmm

MadKatz · 10/11/2010 08:47

Morning,

Well still the same this morning, but its definitely not like the first 24 hours of my period is normally: After 10 hours sleep last night I hadn't even quarter filled a tampon (sorry if thats TMI)whereas my period is normally heavy the first 24 hours and its still only a pink watery look.

Who knows...not me Confused

I just didn't think spotting would go on this long, anyone else spotting symptoms stories to tell?

KLou111 · 10/11/2010 11:55

Apparently spotting can last anything from a couple of hours to a few days like your period. It can be heavy or light. (I read about it when I thought my 'early' period was implantation!)

Sounds like spotting to me though. I also read that if you are light, try not to wear a tampon, don't know why, but it just said wear a pad.

Fingers crossed for you hunny :) (and you liz, cramping sounds good too)

I've told hubs we've got to have a good ol' sesh this weekend!!! Even though BDing every other day anyway lol!

lizandlulu · 10/11/2010 15:46

well i tested this morning, just because i thouhgt i had waited a reasonable amount of timeSmile but bfn. no period, and its day 29 now. i wonder if i ovulated late this month with all the stressing out i have been doing what with going away, so will be later than usualHmm

KLou111 · 10/11/2010 16:54

Sorry about BFN Liz. May be too early though. What's your usual cycle length?

lizandlulu · 10/11/2010 18:01

well it can be anywhere between 27-30 days so i might be jumping the gun abit. i felt very wet on saturday which is unusual for me, which made me think i might have ovulated late and got all my dates wrong and missed my windowSad time will tell

KLou111 · 10/11/2010 18:43

I'd just perhaps test in a couple of days again if AF doesn't come.

Well, I'm having that strange metal taste in my mouth again.

I'm all confused; finished AF on Saturday, CD1 Tuesday, due to ovulate this weekend, yet got this odd taste???

Thought you only got that when ovulating or if you were preggars?!?!?!?

lizandlulu · 10/11/2010 19:03

no idea, i am sure our bodies just do what the hell they want, just to confuse us and piss us offGrin

lizandlulu · 11/11/2010 10:23

still no af Hmm

MadKatz · 11/11/2010 13:28

Hi All,

Still the same today.

Am definitely going to test on Saturday, just to try and understand what's going onConfused.

lizandlulu · 11/11/2010 15:47

still having bloody water?

GruffaloMama · 11/11/2010 21:22

It seems we're all confused. I started spotting yesterday but then stopped. Did a test this morning (BFN) - not surprised - but AF still not arrived. Don't feel preg but wondering if I actually ov'ed when I thought I did.

Wishing for clarity for everyone (and a lovely BFP for someone!!!)

KLou111 · 12/11/2010 10:14

It's bloody shite ain't it????? Why can't we all just get preggars!!!!!

lizandlulu · 12/11/2010 10:21

hear hear klou!! still no af for me, feel realy rubbish too. and got a horrible taste at the back of my throatSad nowt to do with being pg, but still pissing me offGrin

MadKatz · 12/11/2010 13:04

Yes still bloody water, although a lot less today.

I agree KLou, why can't it just happen?

GruffaloMama · 12/11/2010 14:25

Surely one of us at least deserves some luck this month! Liz hope you're feeling better...

Well now spotting stopped completely (with no AF in sight) and morning temp up to 36.7 - never been above 36.5 in two months of charting. V bloody Confused.

Not sure if I should test again on Sunday (AF due - I think) or what.

KLou111 · 12/11/2010 16:19

I think you should test esp as AF not here yet.

Got to get some good news from one of us. All 3 of you are sounding promising TBH!!

I was totally naive going into all this TTC stuff.
I know it would take a while for my body to 'kick in' but I suppose you just think it's gonna happen straight away.

Didn't think it would take too long cos of how much you have to be careful to take your pill as you may get preggars!! Now I want it, it ain't happening!

lizandlulu · 12/11/2010 17:31

klou, i am excatly the same. if i have said it once i have said it a hundred times, we spent our younger years terrified of getting pregnant and being really careful, when in reality, it takes some people forever!

GruffaloMama · 12/11/2010 18:44

I know - it took [whispers] 14 months to get preg with DS. Am prepared for it to take that long again but dreading it. And don't get me started on all those years on the pill! Still no AF here but absolutely no pg symptoms either. Ho hum.
